https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-40

We would like to say that after a very long stint in the factory over the weekend and with great help from our entire engineering team we are finally ready to release the figures you have all been waiting for, Jupiter is of course not a 400 machine it’s much more than that. Watch the video on our youtube site

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFOcI8nK2xI

Truth or lies in their official company newsletter to customers? If that is not an official statement, what is?
What the actual fuck? Which part of my post did you not understand? You're so ready to pull shit over everyone who dares to quote you that you don't even notice when someone agrees with you. Let me repost myself, read the first part very carefully:

Yes. I totally agree that they are liars. It's a fact so no disagreement there.

But it's not accurate to call them criminals if you "only" get a 450Gh machine when you paid for 400Gh one.
Come on. I agree in the first part. Totally.

But they promised 500, as per my last two posts. I'm disagreeing with the 450GH. It's not you Meizirkki, it's them. They say 500 and then figure 400 or maybe even 450 is good enough.

"I'll sell you 5 bags of pasta for that amount of money. Here's the money. Here are your 4 bags of pasta. WTF?"

this fw seems to enable/disable cores with greater frequency... cool

If you use bertmod 98 then some fixes inside the new frimware will lost, because, the old bertmod 0.98 will change the /etc/init.d/cgminer.sh
for example !!!

New for me is the job of this file:  /usr/bin/waas !

I think it is for the next fw release or the NEW: KNC-Tuner 1.0

Run this command to see some stats:

/usr/bin/waas -d   (it is new inside monitordcdc)

here is my output: (I have an avg. 549 Gh/s) (now with my 4 RMA boards) 1. Coin on 14. november from september batch Undecided

Avenger...  Die 0 was addressed with the 0.98.1 beta firmware, and most machines were fixed with it. Other than you, I don't think there are more than a handfull more out there..MAYBE.   So to call that the "Biggest issue" is Total Crap.
okay we have...
1. Avenger  (Assuming he really has a machine)
2. Edgar....
3....?

i found only this diff: (inside 98.1) - initc.sh

If you have an dieed die and it works on 98.1 then ist will also working on 0.99

Buy btc? You are paying about ~$1000/btc investing in hardware right now. Well, that price by the time the next batch ships. Or pay $400/btc now and see how it goes?

Seriously, I could have bought 80btc when I ordered. 80BTC would now be worth $32,000. Ugh.

i figured out something, i think it will be an part of KNC-Tuner 1.0

This is my JASON file = the output of this command: usr/bin/waas -d

Code:
{
"asic_1_voltage": { ???
"die1": "-0.1121",
"die2": "-0.1121",
"die3": "-0.1121",
"die4": "-0.1121"
},
"asic_2_voltage": {
"die1": "",
"die2": "",
"die3": "",
"die4": ""
},
"asic_3_voltage": { ???
"die1": "-0.1121",
"die2": "-0.1121",
"die3": "-0.1121",
"die4": "-0.1121"
},
"asic_4_voltage": { ???
"die1": "-0.1121",
"die2": "-0.1121",
"die3": "-0.1121",
"die4": "-0.1121"
},
"asic_5_voltage": { ???
"die1": "-0.1121",
"die2": "-0.1121",
"die3": "-0.1121",
"die4": "-0.1121"
},
"asic_6_voltage": {
"die1": "",
"die2": "",
"die3": "",
"die4": ""
},
"spi_frequency": "201442",  ;D
"spi_voltage": "1.95"  ::)
}

When you run this command: usr/bin/waas
you get this error: "/config/advanced.conf" not found!

ok:
touch /config/advanced.conf

vi /config/advanced.conf

paste your jason output in there, but do NOT change any value befor we here from KNC Support
how it works!

Then restart your box, hmm, when you make no chnages inside advanced.conf it is not nessesary to
reboot!

The file will be loaded on reboot only (i think)

WU is down from 77xx to 73xx

More importantly, my 24hr earnings have dropped from 0.8xxx to 0.62717

Bitcoinorama' explanation for the delay of shipping the upgrades is ridiculous, why is everyone just gobbling this up?

Here is a picture of the page I made when I ordered the modules :

https://i.imgur.com/0NI2wpV.png

Note the part at the bottom? "All items are in stock and will be packaged and shipped this week via ups".

It didn't say maybe, it said they will ship. This is the same BS that has cost many of us (including me) the chance to recover our investment in KNC. These upgrade modules will help with recovering a bigger part, but as with anything bitcoin, every day counts. So don't say you will ship this week, and then turn around and wait another week, at approx .13 coins per day per unit lost. I was one of the early orders, so I could have had my boards by now.

I do like my miner and I think they did a fantastic job on the hardware, but the constant delays and excuses are not acceptable for any professional company.

Edit : And to add to this is buying the heatsinks/coolers with 2 day shipping to make sure we would have them in time, another waste of money.

please send some output of this command:

Code:
usr/bin/waas -d

that we can check the diff between our miners, also can the orsoc guys review what happens.

For example my volts are minus, others are plus and so on.

Can anyone create an vote for:

1. Yes, let my miner send stats to KNC / Orsoc (switch Now/never)
2. No, all is BS
3. I buy HF 96 Th/s miner
