I used to be a permabull and I still am, but I need some fellow holder to reassure me.

I didn't struggle too much when btc was 3k-ish, because i was only waiting for the final capitulation, which i tought finally happened when we jumped to 14k and then, after correction, we were going sideways10k-ish.

From here, I thought, it can only go up.

But now we are experiencing a significant further correction, and today's red dildo is really tought for me, not financially but emotionally.

Worst than all, during the last year or so I saw too little development: lighting network is cool and I even used it with my android, but there are almost no merchants. And we still dosen't have an open market or a p2p exchanger. And I am really afraid that if we dosen't manage to get a working ecosystem BEFORE regulation, regulation will kill most of the coming projects.

Today I need someone to hodl my hand and say that everything is still ok.

i would love to tell you its ok. but i cant. because its bitcoin, and it does whatever it wants.

all you do is hang on and admire its total disregard for charts, technical analysis, governments, forks and pretty much anything else.

I just don't believe or have to much faith in TA's they are like a newspaper fun to read and look at but +90% bullsh*t .....

..

Well TA worked for the last few months on BTC , much to many peoples surprise.

The failure at 13500 was an very obvious opening of a long bear phase. No bottom has been formed yet, so its still in a downtrend...

..unless you think that the developments in quantum computing are weighing on price, I would say it's a pure technical move.

You are correct that TA is useless, unless you are a medium term trader.

A bitcoins make a strong head move from here to 10,000 US dollar by coming end of this October in the day of Halloween. Day of Halloween are important for BTC

So you say you are realistic. But you said 2 days ago for btc to go to 10k by 31th October and now you call 3k to happen any time. I would say you change your mood very fast and with a drastical change.
@SuperTA brother no chance dumping called 3k what you see 3k?

There you go again with your misleading questions implying LN is custodial and can't be trusted ... I am beginning to think it is subconscious and unintentional, a bias that leaks out whatever you are actually thinking. Which is worse as you're making it look like you actually believe in it.

Not owning any bitcoin is in and of itself an investment.

It means you're instead investing in the current system, which:

- Values spending over saving
- Prints money & manipulates
- Rages trade & currency wars
- Has $17T of negative yielding debt

Choose wisely.

Why would you think that? Talk about a flying leap of logic. The topic was this new so-called 'innovation' upon LN allowing asynchronous transactions, not LN itself. Either keep up, or don't bother to comment. At least not disparagingly. Makes you appear the fool.

Nay, base LN has its own piles o' poop, long since having been discussed.

For those in need :

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

During the last 3 months of 2017, Bitcoin hit a new all-time high once every 3 days, on average.

Bitcoin has now gone 676 days without a new high.

Longest streak ever was 1,176 days (from Dec 2013 to Feb 2017).

Well we all knew deep down that 7700 wasnt going to hold and when it broke it would get ugly.

I was waiting to see if massive buying (large volume similar to the peak of the mini bubble this summer) occurred once we had a large crash like yesterday, and sadly we didnt get the requisite volume for me to deploy my last fiat stash.

The really strong support is at 6500 so hopefully the Bargain Boyz will step in and load their trucks with massive volume at that level and end this mini bear market inside our bull market that started in Dec. 2018, because this so far has been a dud and the true Bargain Boyz have not arrived yet.

A 6500 dollar bottom would still be extremely bullish as we were in the 3-4k range earlier this year. That is where the true run to 100k starts imo and hopefully it happens sooner than later so we can be done with this mess created by the overzealous parabolic run this summer.

While Facebook was asking Congress for permission to launch Libra, and the Federal Reserve boosted repos to $120B a night, bitcoin continued working exactly as designed.

Price may have dipped, but hashrate hit an all-time high today 🔥
