FWIW, even though I received a tracking number for all of my orders, DHL shows it as only "shipping information received" and it doesn't seem like it is on its way yet. I hope I'm wrong about that and the DHL website is just slow to update on weekends, but it seems like they haven't left China yet or even been received by DHL.

Same here. Wasn't there a comment with early batch2 shipping that orders starting in China had a number of days delay, due to private carriage into Hong Kong, before they were visible in DHL's system. |

Damn. So strange. Almost like a punishment. It's too bad that it's so hard to transfer BTC, especially for a company that is BTC-liquid. Someone should invent a cryptocurrency that doesn't require weeks to process a transaction.  For what it's worth, I didn't even want to go the refund route. However, after filing multiple support tickets and sending multiple emails about a crucial shipping issue (I moved residences and wanted it shipped to my office instead), all of which went unanswered, I suspected I had but one option. I knew that it would be next to impossible to get someone with half a brain to respond, let alone do anything about the impending shipping fiasco... Avalon is not exactly a shining example of customer service. |

Completed Custom Clearance is the most recent update which DHL indicates is the final step before being sent out for delivery. Very exciting, and I imagine that everyone that is still waiting will end up seeing their units this week or early next. Compared to what the poor souls who placed their faith in BFL have had to deal with, this has been a cakewalk. Happy Mining, everyone! |
