I highly recommend adding a backup server to cgminer so you don't have to worry about downtime.  Pick your favorite LTC pool or hashco.ws or whatever... that way your miners sit at 100% all the time.

How to you exactly add a backup server?

I'm interested as well.

Just add it to your cgminer.conf, like this:

"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333",
      "user" : "1E5PLsiUEzGqfLoLx5d1xpHF79jETTZcws",
      "pass" : "x"
   },
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://eu.middlecoin.com:3333",
      "user" : "1E5PLsiUEzGqfLoLx5d1xpHF79jETTZcws",
      "pass" : "y"
   }
]

You can add as many as you want.

You can also do stuff like auto-balance (mines all pools simultaneously), or failover-only, which starts at the top of your list and works its way down as servers fail.  Google for cgminer.conf options and you'll get more details if you need it.

Well i got 0,01 btc/24h with 1.2 mh so...yes

really Tongue ? I'm comparing different ppl's mining results to mine and they are getting twice as much as me  Shocked

BTW I'm using the bat file with cgminer that I had for litecoin mining (threadconcurrency, I, worksize, lookup-gap).
Not sure if any of those need to be changed now that we are mining on middlecoin (DOGE atm)?

Using cgminer with the --scrypt and with the stratum+tcp:

Is it normal to only get 0,032 btc/24h with 2.9mhash?

Seems to be 33% more then litecoin but mining on a pure doge pool would give me twice as much profit (0,059btc).

I got    0.04364097 BTC yesterday mining on 1.5 mh/s. It will vary from day to day basis.

Is that 24h you got 0.0436 BTC?
Seems like I'm getting consistently low earnings, no HW error and low stale %

1. Which graphics card do you have?
2. What's your cgminer config?
3. How many accepted shares do you get every minute? I average about 2.7.

I have 2 rigs, one with 2x R9 290 that I tested on middlecoin underclocked/undervolted, they give me each 770khash, so in total 1540khash or 1.54Mhash.
According Cgminer each card accepted about 763000 shares during 18h, that's 706shares/minute  (706*60*18=762500shares).
so that rig got in total about 1.5millions shares in 18h.

here is the cgminer bat file for 2x r9 290 rig: cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 "removed wallet and password" --thread-concurrency 29000 --lookup-gap 0 --gpu-engine 860 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 0 --gpu-fan 59-67 --auto-fan --temp-target=85 --temp-overheat=89 -w 256 -I 20 -g 1

If I were you I would increase GPU core clock to at least 1080 MH/z.

When I asked about accepted shares I meant how many shares your computer solves per minute, you can see that in CGWatcher.

it's not enough with the cgminer WU information?
rig1 (2x R9 290) the WU is 730 for each R9 290 and they have 770khash, so they are about 95% efficient.

My other rig (R9 290 + 7950) the 7950 has 570khash and 530WU, the R9 290 has also good hashing / WU ratio.

I have about 5% stale according cgminer, I could try to figure out CGWatcher, install it & configure if that is necessary for accurate measurements?

You're looking at the overall Utility values, its the combined number of shares all miners are contributing per minute.
Utility is the number of shares your miner is contributing per minute which you can see in CGWatcher.

My efficiency is 143% for 2 x 280x.

As your paid out amount is still 0, I would guess it's because at the pay-out time today, you did not have at least 0.01 BTC pending to be paid out. This is the new minimum for payout since a few days. Just wait untill tomorrow, the payment will probably come through as you now have more than the needed amount.

Hello, firstly, I want to thank you for an amazing multipool.

I'm having problem with payouts (I wrote you PM yesterday). I didn't receive any in last week or so. Can you please look into it?

Thanks

No, ive had over .1 for several days. Im guessing a piece of my address is causing an error when attempted to send payout or something. Ive been mining this pool for about a week now, still yet to receive any payout. If theres a problem with the address i can give another if h2o can acknowledge this..

Just add it to your cgminer.conf, like this:

"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333",
      "user" : "1E5PLsiUEzGqfLoLx5d1xpHF79jETTZcws",
      "pass" : "x"
   },
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://eu.middlecoin.com:3333",
      "user" : "1E5PLsiUEzGqfLoLx5d1xpHF79jETTZcws",
      "pass" : "y"
   }
]

You can add as many as you want.

You can also do stuff like auto-balance (mines all pools simultaneously), or failover-only, which starts at the top of your list and works its way down as servers fail.  Google for cgminer.conf options and you'll get more details if you need it.

Is it possible to do this without editing the .conf file? I wouldn't want to bother doing that. Would I have to change the startup command if I did edit the .conf file?

Dogecoin is down at $10.55 per 1000 kh/s now. Not profitable anymore.

Graphs are working for all active users as far as I know.

There's no way to know what's up for you unless you mention your username and what problem you're seeing.

Is this why my Unexchanged Rate is around 0.00073653 after 2-3 days? I usually get half a bitcent to a bitcent a day.

Wow, thanks! The pools seem to be quite unstable at the moment, since my miners are switching between eu and us servers every few minutes. The script seems to work fine though. Btw, what's the function of that "timeout /t 30" at beginning?
