If I get it right, 0.04 means 40ms and its great latency.. And as I wrote - it matters only on fast block LOW DIFF coins (obviously because Your shares will reach their destination later than same shares from someone else)

Can someone help me out with my miner really quickly?
I just set up a new rig with 2 7970's. I made the config file, and I'm not getting any hardware errors... but I'm not getting any accepted/rejected shares either. It keeps telling me "stratum from pool 0 detected new block", but no accepted/rejected shares. It's also telling me my hashrate is over 900 on each card which is probably too much for 7970's, since the most I see other people get is around 800. Also, my temps are staying in the 30's-40's and MSI Afterburner says my GPU is only being used at 45%... what am I doing wrong?
You probably forget to add -scrypt to Your config / bat file. SHA256 is bit faster than scrypt, but in MHs instead of KHs. You´ll recognize it easily - You´ll see MHs instead of KHs in cgminer.

might be a stupid question but I had to ask... can I have 2 separate rigs pointing to the same btc wallet as a username when mining with middlecoin? Will my stats simply just show combined hashrate of the 2 rigs?
Yes I have 7 without too much issue.

Have you installed AMD SDK APP ? I think it could be the Reason.

My ping does seem pretty awful. Ehh, i'll just upgrade. Even if it doesn't help my mining, at least I won't lag anymore in dota2 and get ganked by riki.

You can still mine "ordinary" not so low diff coins even with bit laggy connection. I am OK with mining on middlecoin (even while running live TeamViewer session) on connection with 200+ms ping, but the same time middlecoin switch to some low diff coin with fast share submission, whole connection lags badly, mostly resulting in remote reboot.

Hi Guys I am new to this, I just want to make sure everything seems normal.. I am not new to mining pools as I have been doing it for over a month now. I now know what the normal Accepted/Rejected shares should look like. The interesting part is that this pool has the most rejected that I have every seen.
Example : 900000 Accepted Rejected 20500
Thats around 2.3% Rejection
Usually in every other pool I have been in the rejection is half that rate at 1.3% 1.2%
Is this something that is normal with this pool?

Its completelly normal and tightly related to which coin is currently mined. Some coins have huge amount of rejects due to low diff / fast blocks (as I described a bit above) - basically its because lot of other people submit same share at same time as You and only one can make it through.

Got the cards up to 730khs each, but I think I need more ram in order to OC more. Does that sound right?

python script after mangling code for personal edits. Very tiny readout, all unnecessary information removed or merged. Displays local time (strftime) instead of server time. Locked to BTC-e for price, removed data grab from Gox. .....
Just got into scrypt mining with middlecoin. First off, middlecoin is great! Sure, the website isn't very pretty and the influx of newbies like me is causing scaling problems, but it works and is making me more $ than mining LTC and trading them. Many thanks H2O! Keep up the good work. I made a couple of small changes to the python script: - Support for multiple wallets (I prefer to have a wallet per rig)
- Fixed the "time since json.." bug around midnight
I really wish it was in a proper repo. #!/usr/bin/python2 import urllib2, json, os, time import datetime as datetime from fractions import gcd from time import strftime, strptime #orignal script: michwill, 15r271ADbvPkCcENraokEzrRgLrmaSpfc8 #modded version by: mardilv, 1PkCFatY7jgxY8BFaZe1YeL1baa8G7tVuR #crippled by: kluge (mdc2cripple1.1) mbtc = False UTCOffset = 5 ##^Set this for your computer's time zone. Unless you watercool them, 730 could be too much

Unless you watercool them, 730 could be too much Three of my 7970's are running at 746,788,788 all on air and temps are 68,72 and 74. Mind you I have another 7970 that will not go over 550 no matter what. For what is is worth my two 290x's run at 880 each and temps are in the high 70's on air. 6 cards spread out over 3 systems all in cases. Two with sides off, of those one has a small house fan pointed at it (ambient temp around 73c) the other is in the garage. My 290x's are also in a case with the side on it in my lounge, again ambient temps are around 73c.
