I've just noticed my ping to the EU server is jumping between 50ms up to 1000ms causing a lot of stales too about 15% which wasnt the case 1 week ago, i had less than 2% of stales...did something changed or maybe because of some user overload?

Why wouldn't you run VNC or Remote Desktop on your rigs in case you have to control them while away?

Yeah I haven't gotten around to it yet, it's a bit tricky with the dynamic IP and I don't have direct access to the router for port forwarding either, it's a long story but I'm waiting for better internet to become available very soon.

If you use chrome as your browser the extension "chrome remote desktop" is easy no need to bother with ports and ip's it just works.

Not happening at my location. Constant ~60ms ping with 1-2ms stddev.

Also I noticed that US server is back down on hashrates. I have a 5.7Mh rig fresh on US after the rollout. Started at 5.6 reported hash, now it's at 5.1

Anyone else feeling this?

I want to test this pool with a small GPU. Does ist pay out when I reach 0.001 or 0.01btc? In the start post it says 0.01, and here in the FAQ 0.001 http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/faq.html

thanks

From website:

Payouts are automatic, and occur once a day, if your balance is greater than 0.01 BTC or if you haven't been paid out in 7 days and your balance is greater than 0.001 BTC.

Whatever way I look at it, I've doubled my hash rate over the last week but getting 3 x less pay-out.

This pool is a great idea and saves me lots of hassle but they are not doing it for free so I do expect
a fair pay-out to my mining resources.

Hick-ups and problems I understand but if the results don't add up after a few weeks then questions need to be
asked.

I'm not going into a blame game ... Servers and pools have problems and there's nothing more annoying
when your working your arses off trying to fix something and people are just posting crap.

I'm just keeping logs of each tick and balances and if there's something that doesn't add up then I'll make it known
otherwise I'll keep mining.

But as I said ... they are not doing this for free so I do expect fair results.

I think the main problem now is that we are mining ltc on eu server that is not the most profitable coin now and thats why our profits decreased dramatically.

Main problem for me is that we're getting considerably less LTC than we should, at least yesterday not sure yet about today. I'd move instead of whining but I'm away from my rigs for 2 weeks.

Checkout TeamViewer, works great with a dynamic IP (don't need to set up anything on your router).

Thanks! Will deffo check that out. Bit annoyed now that I didn't look into it earlier. 1 of my 10 GPUs has gone down looking at the hashrates, could've fixed that with something like this (as long as it didn't hang the OS I suppose)

You didn't reach 0.1 BTC yesterday. That's why. Yesterday payouts were extremely low for the EU server, 75% below expected return. I'm a bit worried that no official comment has been made on this topic. My payout yesterday barely covers eletricity. LTC is not that unprofitable so where are the coins?

What you mean for the EU server?? Even for the US server was VERY low... I am Primary on US server and EU as a failover, Only 5 minutes ago I seen a few  Disconnects AGAIN from the US server. Isnt this supposed to be fixed by now?

"tealover":

My friend who have been mining here, have made more here than anywhere else. The first day I mined here I got 1 litecoin in one day - my expected profit on litecoin-pools is 0.57 for one day.

How can that be a scam?

People please open your eyes.

1. I call H2O and the pool a possible scam
2. H2O immediately rolls out a temporary fix for US server that he's been sitting on instead of implementing and still has no time available when the "bug" will be fixed that is still dropping peoples hash rate. Yet he claims this is his full-time job and he has 2 employees. Running a pool is NOT very hard, I'm speaking from experience.
3. Everybody is claiming very low profits on US and EU servers.
4. H2O transfers 90 bitcoins out of the pool instead of using to pay us. This explains why everybody's payments are low, because he is taking much more than 3.4% fee

H2O has been running this pool perfectly for months, then suddenly when a bunch of new people join, the pool "breaks", and he can't fix it until someone calls him a scammer then BOOM it's magically fixed within 1 hour. That's 1 of the most suspicious things I've ever seen.

A couple people have private messaged me that they agree with me something fishy is going on. 1 guy has proof that he is scamming and I will be posting it shortly.

hmm Show us then...  Undecided

what his saying is he is taking more than the Fees that he says, and that in-fact you should be getting larger payouts.

I'm not finding this on the website or in page 1 of the post; what is the EU server?  I'm in Italy and on the US server getting something like 12% rejects

The solution is so easy Smiley
Everone that dont like to mine on middlecoin can join some diff pool, noone is bind here in any kind, feel free to go.

An to tealover and the others, H2O told us already some days ago that the eta for the US Server fix is sunday.

If you look a bit arround you will see that all the altcoins are bad right now and that Doge also loose.

not to interupt the witch-hunt talk

but was middlecoin affected by the doge fork?

hard to find details, but it looks there was a fork which some pools are/were mining and 1.4 has checkpoints to fix it
