Anyone else notice how Blackarrow Matt has been MIA for like two months now?
They are training him on how to use a soldering iron so he can make your miners!

I noticed a sort of revolving customer support experience, someone new from BA would start and post for a while, then they would rotate out and their would be no one for a while, while they said they were looking for a PR person, then no real official update on a hired PR person, and instead someone else from "within the company" would start posting here. That seemed to happen like 2 or 3 times with new people just revolving in. they are the same person they just wear specs and change in phone booths, I don't know why that's so familiar lol

Has anyone done a bitcoin refund from minersource? Following the chain it seems like it was traded for fiat so i really don't want to hear the excuse that they will only give me half back what i paid.
I did a BTC refund at Minersource for an X-1. They paid me back in full BTC minus a reasonable transaction fee.

I did a BTC refund at Minersource for an X-1. They paid me back in full BTC minus a reasonable transaction fee. Was it the same amount you paid originally or adjusted for price? Say you paid .41 when prices around 810$ (so around 340$)a coin and they traded it in for fiat after i paid do i get .41 with a refund (currently 201$ usd equivilent) so they make 140$ if i refund or do they give me 330$ worth of bitcoin as the 10$ is an amount for the fiat conversion and transaction fees? The difference between what I paid in BTC and what I received in BTC was 0.0009. I didn't look too much into the conversion rates because I try to not think about conversion rates when buying/selling miners since it just confuses the only thing that ever should matter: BTC profit. It is quite likely they made some fiat on conversion, but I really don't care. They took a risk doing that and could have lost or won. I'm not a fan of bobsag3 by any measure, but Minersource was completely fair as far as I'm concerned.

They aren't refunding all of them with BA, they are reselling them internally. Same with the X-3 R17 group buy. Good for them for turning this to their advantage. There's a customer (sucker) born every minute.

Well this is about the worst news they could have given, no updates really paint a grim picture and put us in the dark. I wonder if they will give an update or make us wait til the 1st for them to say they aren't making the date.
I think the absence of an update pretty much says it all. It doesn't take but 2 seconds to either say, "Hey, we have a working proto, give us a day and we will give you more info" or " HA HA HA we took your money suckers The project has been delayed again".

If you still want to mine and not wait until the end of May, you can get some in stock Antminer S1's for 0.63 BTC each.

Note: Not all our competitors supply PSUs and Touch Screen LCDs, therefore if we compare our miners with these we will subtract the price of our extra hardware before the price match. No one asked you to install touchscreen LCDs... nor was it mentioned in the specs when people placed their orders. I'd have to agree there, no other miner that I can think of comes with an LCD screen.

Unnecessary to have I know, but doubt this tech would hold up the whole manufacturing process causing delays.

I was expecting the original 25% extra so thank you to those of you who complained hard enough.

It's expensive enough where they're outright saying that they're going to subtract the cost when it comes to matching the competition. PSU, sure, subtract it, cuz you need to buy one for an Antminer S1, but subtracting a touchscreen because they felt the need to incorporate one? That's not cool.. They're trying to save every penny, now i wonder how much these screens supposedly cost. Anything over 20$ and im not believing it. I am willing to give BA a $14 credit towards my comp. It is a nice feature. Not more than that though. https://www.adafruit.com/products/1774Hey BA, you better hurry because $/Gh is dropping fast with the A1 systems, and Bitmain's continual price cuts.
