The mega investors whom are getting out these days are actually a good thing as the coins are becoming more spread out across the globe. This in turn will lessen the volatility over the long haul. This will bring in a new group of investors that have been sitting on the sidelines. These growing pains will not last forever and am fine going on record as saying that the current price will be in hindsight a great time to buy. I for one have bitcoin and ethereum that have been just sitting growing dust for more than a year now. Folks who stare at the market are the folks who take loses and have heart attacks at a young age. Exercise is good for stress and you cant much of it sitting behind the keyboard 7 days a week...

Many investors do not know how to wait. Time is the strongest factor in investing. To make money you just need to wait. For investors, this is very difficult. I've kept the ETH Token for a long time, and I'm not going to sell it yet.

So far your theory of just holding and becoming rich was true, but the past isn't always the best predictor for the future. There might very well be some coins that stay stuck way below their peaks.

Of course, I talked about promising projects. I consider Etherium to be such a project. In fact, the platform is only at the beginning of its development. The platform functionality is much more than just an ICO.

You are surely right about that. At the same time it is hard to imagine where Ethereum could go in the future in terms of financial numbers. If we assume that Ethereum will be the global platform for Dapps, could it really go into the trillions? It's probably possible, but it's still weird and hard to grasp if you compare it to companies like Apple. Then again the comparison isn't right, because one is a platform and one is a centralized company. I am curious where this is going to be in 10 years from now.

It is just a hybrid, so when the full PoS period will be implemented for Ethereum network?
With Casper and upcoming PoS, I believe that Ethereum price will fly over the Moon, one more time.

We should not need wait the full implementation of the POS casper to the ethereum network to give an impact. Even the next update makes ethereum block reward will decrease again almost 5x and that will give a huge impact to the ethereum price.
Full pos just the matter of time and remember the threshold to the stakers has already written.

Casper and PoS phase might help to lift Ethereum back to its all time high, which is somewhere around 0.14 BTC for each Ethereum.

The NMR smart contract has a cap of 21 million NMR tokens. Numerai initially gave away 1 million NMR to our users but the smart contract also allows Numerai to mint new NMR each week (~100,000 per week).

Because we haven’t needed it, the NMR we are allowed to mint recently exceeded 4 million NMR. We want to use this available NMR to continue to grow the Numerai network in new ways such as with new airdrops or new partnerships with investors who have experience growing decentralized applications. But we do not need all 4 million NMR to do this so we have decided to lock up 3 million NMR (worth ~$45 million) until 2028.

We want this lock up to be irreversible and verfiable so we locked up the NMR using the NMR staking contract on the Ethereum blockchain. This means it is impossible for Numerai to access this NMR until 2028, and anyone can verify this fact for themselves.
