South Africa not only lost the points (on the table) but also the Net RR after losing the match with such a big margin. I didn't see any good fight-back by the South African batsmen after quite a while; they should've at least been able to lower the margin of runs as it matters greatly in the World Cup standings and Net RR.

Mate, I'm in UAE/Abu Dhabi these days and betting online isn't a very good idea here as it's considered near-to-illegal. I'm probably not gonna bet at all in this world cup.

Archer was probably the architect of the English victory. It is surprising that a player whose place in the team was not secure until the last moment has cemented his place so firmly after just one match. But it also sends a wrong message to the cricketing world. He shifted his allegiance from West Indies to England quite recently and only monetary considerations played a role in that move.

Pakistan does not perform well in batting their bowling is really good in the time of hard situations as well. I feel they have improve their game strategy to improve in batting and fielding instantly.

Exactly, every country has terrorists and even the developed countries are big terrorists but they never come in main stream media because they have control over the media. Sports has nothing to do with terrorists. Even though Pakistan recent performance in the cricket is not so good but the overall condition of the country is far better than other developed countries.

I agree. Asian teams (with an exception of India) are all looking very weak in this world cup.

Currently, Sri Lanka is losing against New Zealand while Afghanistan seems to be having quite a bad start (with three wickets down on just 63 runs) against Australia as well.

EDIT: New Zealand just completed the target of 137 runs within just 16 overs!

Bangladesh (being an Asian team) started well in today match and made 61 in just 9 overs.  If Soumya continue the aggressive batting and  the middle order batsmen support him well, they could make a competitive score and we might see the first upset of the worldcup.

May i know which country you are from as you seem to tell that you are living in the safest place on earth and literally a heaven where there is no one who goes crazy and start shooting or blast themselves for no reason than to scare others.
I am stunned to see the way in which Bangladesh is playing and with more spinners in the Bangladesh team i think they will be winning the match as South Africa is not known to play spin really well and Bangladesh is posed to score more than 300 runs by the way they are scoring the runs.

Bangladesh started the match brilliantly first their batsmen stunned African bowlers with their batting, and then Bangladesh bowlers restricted African batsman from reaching their target. This victory shall boost Bangladesh’s confidence going ahead in the World Cup, and they may cause further upsets if they continue to play like this. Now I’m looking forward Rabada vs Kohli after the former called him immature, it’ll be interesting to see if Kohli responds to it.
