SL after winning the toss decided to bat against England and they would not be happy the way two openers got out very quickly leaving the score board now to 37/2 in 9 overs. England is very strong int he WC and full chance if they continue playing the way thy are in for the finals of the WC for 2019.

Yes I also think England will reach the final of this world cup. The reason is obviously they are playing well till today and they have some opportunity that are they are more familiar with their own ground and weather. And England also mentally  more confident with this WC because they are The organizer of this world Cup.

Anyway, The score of today's match between England vs Sri Lanka at this moment SL 62/3 in 12.5 overs. Another wicket gone just now, So I think the score will not good today.

Maybe by the falling years if Bangladesh has the same players, we can see Bangladesh to be a strong team competing with the top teams. Australia being one of the top team scoring 381 and Bangladesh chasing the score reaching 333 is really a good cricket from Bangladesh. Also the previous match from Bangladesh too is very interesting to watch the chase.

Bangladesh did play a splendid innings and managed to score over 300 against the Australian bowling attack. If Bangladesh can show the same performance in rest of their, as they have shown in last two matches, i am hopeful that they might do an upset in the world cup by finishing 4th in the overall standings of the teams.

England need 50 runs in 46 balls. So there is a chance to take the rest two wicket before touching the target . Lets see what will happen.

It is malinga who took the team to victory. From England Stokes played good till the end, during the last overs the win percentage of England went to 12% and further with the play of Ben stokes the winning percentage went to 31%. Till this match England has scored above 300+ on chasing as well on batting first. Today if it hasn't lost the last one or two wickets Stokes could've made the team win the match.

No one expected England to go down against Sri Lanka, and that too after restricting them to just 232. Perhaps they took their opponents too lightly and in the end it cost them the match. But this defeat is not going to do any damage for them as far as points are concerned. England still has 8 points from 6 matches and they are on the 3rd position. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh still needs miracles to enter the semi-final stage.

That is really unfortunate for the English team and the gamblers. I was too sure for England to win that I placed a bet on 1.09 odds. That's really stupid thing to do.
The odds on Sri Lanka were well above 20, anyone who have placed a bet on Sri Lanka are now rich.

I am also shocked by todays match. I did not think that in this world cup england will lost any match Against Sri Lanka according to previously performance. Lastly Ben stocks tried alone to and straggle to win the match. But unfortunately the other bats man was cought  behind. Now England is going to difficult by losing this match because rest of the match will Against strong strong team.

The problem is, they took the score too lightly. They thought it's an easy target given their previous performances. It was actually an easy target but not when the opposite team has Malinga as a bowler. It was a good match regardless.

I think England didn't gave 100% in to this match. Perhaps they thought that they had enough points on board to advance to the semi-finals. And after they got Sri Lanka out for a small score, they became even more relaxed. Only after they lost 6-7 wickets, the Brits realized that there is a chance of them losing this match, and along with it 2 points.

India off to steady start after losing 3 quick wickets and winning the toss and decided to bat.  Kohli is batting on 60 and if he stays on the wicket for next 10 overs India would be able to post big total else it would feel the pressure to score big scores.

Big trouble for India. Kohli has fallen and now MSD and Jadhav at crease. I have a bad feeling right now. No one had predicted a Sri Lakan victory against England yesterday, and yet they won. An Afghan win against India is even more unlikely. But what if an upset happens? In case that occurs, it is going to be huge for Afghanistan. Their best moment in international cricket till now.

I have said this many times before, but I don't think that Dhoni is suitable for one-day cricket anymore. He scored 28 runs from 52 balls, with a strike rate of 53. And remember that He was batting from overs 30 to 44. It could have been much better for India, had they sent either Kedar Jadhav or Hardik Pandya ahead of Dhoni. MSD just wasted a lot many balls.

Dhoni presence is very vital in Indian team. He is a great keeper and a good hitter. He can play slowly also according to the situations and  we cannot call him only a slogger. Being a former captain, he is helping Virat in many decisions and India feels strong in his presence.
Eliminating Dhoni will never be a good sensible plan and India should never do that.

That's a big match for Afghanistan, till the end of the match there is full of excitement and heart pumping about the result. Till the start of the final over the winning percentage of India was found 79% while Afghanistan has got 21%. On the final over Sami took away the wickets, and if Nabi wasn't caught out the match result could've turned on the side of Afghanistan. It's a big experience for Afghanistan.
