Agreed, not all new coaches succeed in making quick changes, especially Manchester United is a team that needs big changes to really have better and consistent performance. After all, Amorim also came when the league was already running, so it will not be easy for Amorim to handle a team that was basically built by the previous coach. So yes, I think for now there is no one to blame and let them run according to the efforts they have made. Because they also certainly want to compete again in the upper zone in the standings, but they also need time to successfully recover.

Nice observations but observe again, most coaches that are now legend today were once upcoming stars. Some went from an ordinary player that retired early to start their career to coach and some of them start as an ordinary coach and it works for them. The coaches that joined a new club and do win trophy immediately, check them after 2 years, they don't continue in that trend but the once that win gradually do have some consistency with time.

Look at Guardiola and Manchester City, he was there in Manchester City despite been in Barcelona for long and won many trophies, things were difficult for him but as time goes on, he won 4 Premier League on a roll and nobody could stop him and even as it is right now, Guardiola will be rated one of the best club coach because I believe this under performance is not coming from Guardiola but the players. As long as they can score, they have no excuses

Manchester United performance in the premier is just been moving forward and backward, their lack of inconsistency and that’s why their pattern of playing is continue going in that way, if not if we observe their performances when they each their former management; their performances was moving normal.

But after a while they begin performing very poorly; that’s why I said even the team alone having their own issues and even this upcoming match against Fulham, I doubt that Fulham can find the match very easy to win without much challenge.

With a new Manager at the wheel, it's not surprising that they have an inconsistent run... though other managers do have an immediate impact ,while for others it takes time to show the work done behind door's...

Let them man know his players and root out any bad seeds, am certain things will go right for team United sooner or later as Amorim seems like a decent manager

You are actually making sense dude, at first I thought Rud Van was the new Manchester united coach not until someone told me he is not and no doubt he was doing absolutely great and perhaps they would have given him a chance to see what he can do. However, all hope is not lost Rubin Amorim is a nice coach and he has been doing well in the Portuguese league, so I strongly believe that he is going to build Manchester united back and what he needs now is time because Manchester united was almost playing trash before he came so it is going to take him time to build the team and if you check very well you will observed that he usually use players randomly to check their ability. Ruud Nistelrooy was indeed the better choice in terms of short-term strategy (to squeeze the maximum out of the current season) but I like the choice that was actually made better. United took too long to fire Ten Hag and another "transition season" would have been too much. Amorim have started to rebuild (one might say break) the team now and there is hope that by next season there will already be good results. A lot depends on summer transfers, but what is being done now should have been done earlier.

As long as Amorim has not made any changes to the current Man United line-up, I will not believe in the performance that MU currently has.

Manchester United are not consistent currently, their performance has not been so good, and with the way the team is performing, it’s obvious that their coach is really a talented and good coach, Manchester United current poor performance is from the players and not the coach, their are some players that are just suppose to leave Manchester United, Amorim will have to sign some quality players just to improve the clubs performance, if he doesn’t do that, then the fans will soon start complaining about him.

Unless in the coming season Amorim brings in players who he thinks can help Man United to get a strong performance, I am sure MU will be able to compete with the top teams. We can see Chelsea who made a major overhaul which is currently getting much better results.

If Manchester United can sign quality players, then they should be able to compete with the top teams, but if they want to continue with the current players in the team, even weak teams will be difficult to win for Manchester United, but am sure Amorim will sign new players.

Manchester United has not attained that significant improvement that many people are expecting of it. However are they have improved as they are not where they used to be again. Before now, Manchester United used to play so terribly. But now they are at least watchable and you could see a definite football style that they are trying to implement

So far I don't see their improvement and that's evident in terms of the standings they still can't move to a slightly decent position because indeed being in 12th place for the size of Manchester United is definitely not a normal thing to see despite their poor form that has always happened in the last few matches.

But at least when they managed to get 3 points in a match it was still pretty good but I still wouldn't say they improved for now because for me Mancehster Uniteed is still stagnant.
Unless Amorim can slowly improve their position in the table then maybe the view of this coach will be a little different. Not that he is a bad coach but indeed with the minimal opportunities he has in the management of the club I think being higher even if it doesn't reach a position in the top 4 is good enough but not with now because in my opinion they are above position 10 it is still very bad.

This premier league season for Manchester united have been something else, I mean they have been nothing but he'll on terms of their performance and even the van nisterol you are saying would have been a better choice is just because of the positive results he had for just some few games as interim manager which I believe the case would have been different if he was handed the job a little while longer.

I do agree that Ruud Van Nistelrooy wasn't given enough time but to be honest I think he would have still be having some difficulties getting wins when he plays more games with time. Manchester United players are so inconsistent while many are doesn't worth the shirt or starting Xi, if they want to get back to their glorious days to be honest.

Amorim is still trying his best, I do agree to the fact that he needs time and resources and I think while top four is really unlikely for them,  if they can win the Europa League or at least get close to the final, then I think some top players will want to come to Manchester United while the management will give their backing more than ever

Ruud van Nistelrooy for the only few matches he coached delivered very well, everyone did expect Manchester United to slow down a bit and observe what the interim coach is rejuvenating in the club. His first five games was without loses, same players but it looks like something extra while he was coaching. Amorim is trying, i can't condemn him this fast, some managers do need a few seasons to fully embrace in unique ways on how to manage the club, it goes beyond just training and adopting to the new management style of play, perfection is demanded, all competing clubs are likely known to posses in a different manner than the usual.

When Ten Haag get sacked, the players looks happy and performed really well in their matches under Ruud which caused panic as the management decide to bring Amorim, but it was minimal because of Amorim’s performance at Sporting CP, but when he joined Manchester United, the story changed because of the internal problems in the team and some players that are not serious in the Manchester United’s squad.
Manchester United fans need to give Amorim more time to adapt to the team, and he also needs financial support and opportunity to sign some players and some of the current Manchester United players need to leave to create space for other young talented players so that the team can go further just as other teams.

To be honest, United doesn't go too low, but they do not get better neither, they end up losing and then winning and keeping their position at the moment. They are still 13th and they were at that level for a while, so I am not really expecting them to be all that different. My best guess would be 10th, and worst would be 15th, that's where they will finish, I bet that they won't finish 9th, and I bet that they won't finish 16th, that much is obvious from how they are playing.

Obviously not everyone thinks the same and I am sure that there are a lot of people who think differently, but I am pretty sure that we are going to end up like this without a doubt. Everyone talks about how bad they are, but nobody realizes Spurs are just one point and place above, they are not doing that good neither, this season has been a bit different for that reason.

Since Amorim is now in charge let's trust him to make a change. Managing a team is really not easy and with the inconsistency in the premier league I will say it's quite understandable because he hasn't been with the team before he only came and started experimenting unlike Ruud Nistelrooy who has been in old Trafford and knows the team like he knows himself.

All I can say about the future of United this season is that Amorim is trying his best and I believe he won't stop anywhere below top 7. The same way he navigated the Europa to attend top 3 position he will find his way to the 7th position. I will patiently wait to see the season move in a way that will be a shocker to many.

There is an Arsenal - Manchester City match only 2 days later! 

Manchester City are having a really difficult season as we have said many times. They were nearly finding themselves out of the Champions League as well. And now there are really competitive matches waiting for them... Considering the Premier League and Champions League both I wonder what Guardiola will do. He started with beating Chelsea but collecting the biggest amount of points isn't easy work with this unstable performance.

I think Arsenal will manage to win by a small margin...

This may be true because it is evident from the last decade until now that Manchester United still cannot build an ideal squad properly which in the end their performance remains unpredictable which makes this indeed need time and process again to build an ideal squad to restore their previous golden era.

It can happen if in the end there is a match for players and coaches but Amorim and Mancehster United players do not have that and only a few of them are suitable for Amorim's style and attack schemes now and it is evident for now that player and coach disputes are starting to exist because seeing Amorim's statement which seemed to insinuate Rashford some time ago it seems that now apart from the club's poor performance now the situation within their internals is also getting worse.

So with this we only need to see the breakthrough that will be made next season but before that happens of course Amorim must be able to make their situation this season a little better than now.

In my opinion Manchester United will finish the season outside the top 7. The teams that will be fighting for places 4, 5, 6 and 7 are much better than Manchester United this season. I'm talking about Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth. Manchester United needs at least 1 or 2 more seasons with good changes being made to the squad before they can start fighting for top positions.

Leaving MU is the most difficult thing to do for a player. As we can see how difficult for a player like Rushford to leave MU and move to another league because MU provides him with good facilities, and spoiled Rushford so much. I think Amorim should emphasize MU players to do no spoilage. They must hard work, and discipline during training and stay unpretentious on front of fans. Some of the players have started to change their habits and begin to adjust to Amorim's wishes. they have performed well like Amad, Bruno, Ugarte, Zirkzee, etc. only 1 player who hasn't changed yet, yes, Rashford, he'll continue to be benched if he doesn't change to Amorim's liking.

Manchester United's performance has improved slightly, not much. But the way they are performing now, if they could have performed like this from the beginning of the season, their position in the points table would have been between one and seven. Manchester United have faced several teams during this period and Manchester United have lost points in many easy matches. Manchester United may try well in the remaining few matches but in reality with this team it will be much more difficult for them to finish in the top 5 of the points table and I think they may not finish in the top 5 this season. Those who follow the Premier League on a regular basis will probably be most pleased if Manchester United can return to their former form of performance and I myself always hope so.

Arsenal - Manchester City

Several interesting matches were presented this week, one of which was Arsenal vs Manchester City, both top teams in the English Premier League, it is very difficult to predict who will come out on top.
Manchester City is in the best performance after winning over Chelsea in last week's match but I still doubt it because Manchester City will play at home while Arsenal have a big chance in this match and have had good results in their last few matches.

How about over 1.5 because these two teams just like drawing games with one or zero goals. Their last encounter wasn't too pleasant as we saw so many dramatic decisions, and a late equalizer from Manchester city. The Arsenal team were quite ferious about the game, which I believe is going to be an extra motivation for them. I will be expecting more dramas and even some fight, as I believe both sides lost respect for each in the last game.

 But the only problem for Arsenal is their lack of attacking options. I am not sure if Kai Havertz can put on a top performance against Manchester city, and considering the fact that they're very good in playing their opponents in an offside position. Havertz might just be a one man advantage to Manchester City on Sunday.

And for a game like this, It won't make any sense if the FA appoints Michael Oliver as the match official. Too many controversies whenever Oliver officiates Arsenal games, especially their encounter against City. Maybe Anthony Taylor will be best considering how tough he can be on any side.

Of course yeah you can go for a safer bet. But the odds are too low for that though, 1.23.    If you just want to add small odds to finish your parlay then it would be a great choice that's for sure.

Even the idea of seeing Havertz as CF makes me disappointed. But we have seen him playing there in reality many times already. He isn't a good fit there obviously. But Arteta's hands are tied when Gabriel Jesus is injured. This is another such case. This is the point I worry about. What if Arsenal have a huge trouble in scoring goals?  I hope the midfielders and wingers make an extra contribution otherwise they would have big problems on beating Manchester City at home as well.
