Nottingham Forrest beating Brighton with seven goals is a huge win, they are once again third place, and that's an insane situation to be in right now. This team was barely staying away from relegation zone until very recently like a few years ago, and now they are third place. We need to see a huge docu-series somewhere about how they turned the ship around and got this good, there is really no way that we are going to see anything like this anytime soon.

It happens very rarely, Leicester was barely in the league and won too, but that was nearly 9 years ago and we are seeing something similar again, no titles this time around but still a big achievement. In a league where everyone spends unreal amount of money, they are not spending that much and turning the team into great levels.

Surprisingly Nottingham Forest have been that standout team in the Premier League this season. Many doubted their capabilities even till now but they have fought hard this season, putting in hard work on and off the pitch to make a statement. I think nothing will please them more than to finish in top four at the end of the season, I say top four because it is of very huge doubt that they will be able to win the league this season like Leicester did in 2016.

Forest is overachieving in PL, and they also do that on FA cup. Although they struggle to beat Exeter, but they did it through pen. It really amazes me how Nuno really transformed his team from a mediocre club into the top table club. He's doing even better at Nottingham instead of Tottenham.

What a great achievement for Nuno's career. It will be surprised many if they can qualify for the UCL next season. Nottingham Forest plays on UCL, it sounds amazing.

It's funny how Premier League coaches look at the FA Cup. Nottingham's coach didn't even put the players he used in the last Premier League game in this game against Exeter, he put players he doesn't use regularly, that's because he's giving priority to the Premier League and as a way of saving the best players, he used the B team and was lucky to come out with a win in this game. Nottingham's next game in the Premier League won't be easy, I'm avoiding betting on their game against Fulham.

Nottingham really made a big surprise in the EPL this season, they managed to reach a position usually occupied by elite teams. Their performance has improved a lot from last season, but their level is still lower than other big teams.
I am not sure they can maintain their position until the end of the season because the regular teams in the top four have strengthened their squads in the January transfer window, Man City are also trying to get into the top four to get a place to play in the UCL next season.

Liverpool are overwhelmingly the favoured side of course. However I don't think it's going to be that simple during the game. Because as of David Moyes' arrival, Everton have been rising. They are scoring easier than ever and getting better results. FYI, Everton have a really good history home vs Liverpool.    I mean they don't lose most of the time. I wouldn't bet on Liverpool here because of that. It looks like a considerable risk to me.

If I bet on this one I'd go for both teams to score @1.91.

Nottingham Forest are in a very good position for the Premier League top four and that they have earned through their consistent performance in the league this season. They have been playing quite a nice football and everyone has now seen them as a team with a lot of potentials this season. As other teams are playing fervently well also to finish in the top four of the league to qualify for the champions league, their position in the top four will inle be saved if their performance remains consistent and they do not play a very weak game before the end of the season. Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle are indeed top teams in the premier league that will most definitely want to replace them on top of the standings, but they will likely get a chance if Nottingham Forest consistency cannot be upheld for long by them.

FA Cup cannot be rated on the same level as the premier league and not only Nottingham Forest’s manager views it like that, all other top managers in the premier league don’t give much priority to the FA Cup until they get to the quarterfinals- finals before they begin to put in their best players in the games. This is generally how they see it and for Nottingham Forest to be in a position that they can finish the league in top four, they’ll give more priority to the premier league than they will give to the FA Cup.

Man City is in a tough spot right now. They've just lost a Champions League play-off 1st leg game to Real at home (2-3) being only a few minutes away from a victory. It will be hard to come back from that in the rematch at Santiago Bernabeu.

Tottenham (away) - this one might not seem like a challenge but Man City lost the last 2 direct clashes, the last one was an embarrassing 0-4 loss at home.

The advantage that Nottingham has for now is that apart from their performance which is getting better and better, they also only focus on the EPL alone in contrast to some big clubs that have a focus on other competitions such as the Champions League, Europa League or Conference League so this could be an advantage for them because their focus is not too divided for now.

I took an important lesson from the NotTM Forest match against Exceter City which ended in a draw but NotTM Forest won through penalties. What important lessons? The lesson is that the One League team can turn into a great team when they all have the desire to give the best game when facing the Premier League team.
They realize that many talent guides are monitoring them playing and from there all their abilities show.

Yes, Everton has started to recover slowly but even so, Everton has also slowly managed to move away from the relegation zone. With the arrival of David Moyes it really gave a very positive impact for Everton and even, for the match that is currently taking place, Everton managed to score the first goal in the 11th minute. But yes, Liverpool also managed to reply to the goal  in the 16th minute and made the current match still a draw with a score of 1-1. The chance of a draw could happen again in the upcoming match. Man City has a greater advantage at home while Man City has had a bad day in several previous competitions and now only has hope in the EPL not to lose points or share points much better. Newcastle is actually one of the difficult teams to predict for me. But I believe Newcastle has the ambition to try to beat Man City who are unstable. So both teams want to get full points but the only fair result is a draw. And if you choose to bet on double chances (draw or Newcastle) is the right choice. But if you want to take a big risk betting on a draw one of the courage to get big odds. And honestly I will not bet on this match because I always avoid every Newcastle match that made me angry at that time.

The fact that Manchester City and Newcastle are currently sharing points in the EPL will make the match more interesting to watch. Also considering the last game both clubs featured one another which ended in a draw is another factor to watch out for since it suggests the equal strength both teams have exhibited over the period. It is also fun to know that both the Manchester City and Newcastle team have lost in 7 matches , 5 draws, and 12 wins in 24 matches this season. It's still about 3 days to go so both team have the time to plan out the best strategies to win their games going forward.

Well the FA Cup is quite different from the EPL so I guess the Nottingham guys have decide to channel more efforts towards the EPL games as opposed to the FA Cup. The game still ended well in favour of the Nottingham after the Penalty Shootout which game a 4- 2 goal advantage for the Nottingham. However, the last EPL game played by Nottingham Forest was a massive one after they aggressively won against Brighton with 7 goals to none where Wood scored a stunning hattrick goals for the Nottingham Forest. The Nottingham Forest are right behind Arsenal in the table standing taking the 3rd position of the league's table.

Even in seasons when Manchester City are in great form, Newcastle always give them a tough time. The team I fear most when they are playing against any big team in the Premier League is Newcastle; they are always unpredictable. Recently, over the past two to three seasons, they have been delivering good results against big teams.

So, now that Manchester City are not in good form, I can't confidently predict that they will win the upcoming match against Newcastle. Manchester City may win the game, but I don’t have much confidence that it will happen. If I were to bet on this game, I would either give Newcastle the option of scoring at least one goal or avoid betting on Manchester City to win. I think that would be safer than betting on a Manchester City to be the winner of the match.

I agree that FA cup has never been anything that big teams focus on much, there isn't really that much entertainment around it, and also even more important is that there is no fan request for it neither. Fans are not mad that teams lose, like when Liverpool lost FA cup to last place on championship, no fan at Liverpool ever complained about it, in fact most even thought that was a good thing so that players could rest even more.

This is why it's clear that we are not going to see people really care about this at all. If fans do not care, and fans do not demand it, then why would teams care? Teams win only because that is in their best interest, if there is no benefit to this, then they do not care about the win at all. NF did the same, beating Exeter would have not given them any cheering fans at all, nobody would care, and that is why they didn't care about this game, just like Liverpool didn't care neither. United won last year and got happy, because that's all they could do.

To me, I think Newcastle is going to win the match because Newcastle is one of those teams that are giving big teams a tough time anytime they play with them regardless of the team's performance. Even if Newcastle does not win the match, they won’t be left behind; they are trying their best to see that they make it difficult for that big team before they score a goal, and even if they score, it won’t be too many goals. So for that reason I won’t say confidently that Manchester City will not win, but they are not in good form this season, so this gives Newcastle a high chance of winning the game.

The match between Liverpool and Everton is very interesting game like the kind later of the that Everton played in the first half, imagine that Everton are able to secure 1 goal right from the 11 minutes of first half but Liverpool make it possible to equalize back before the second half end currently their in half time with 1-1; I hope Everton can able to maintain this advantage their currently performances.

Liverpool only lead them by higher numbers of possessions, but Everton is given them so much pressure because with the way they end the first half with powerful performing if they keep it up and did the same thing in the second half they might dominate this match; or maintain this their 1 goal and lead the game to a draw.

I was seeing them initially as some random team that is having it's time because Manchester City are having bad season but it looks like this guys are here to change the game. There has not been under performing team that hasa glow like Nottingham for a very long time and to say that Manchester United is still at where they were since they played their 7th game this season, number 13th place has been there usual spot for months now, it's a shame but they don't know.

It's good that we are seeing some changes. Liverpool hasn't shown any sign of weakness since the beginning of the season which means Nottingham can only run but maybe they have to imply the same performance next season, that's how I think they will can if only there is another dominant because as it is, this sit that Liverpool is holding, it will be in their hands until the season is end, there is nothing Nottingham or Arsenal will play that will make them win the Premier League.
