Today, I bet on Newcastle to win because City has a very important rematch in the Champions League next week, but O.Marmoush made me regret it. He showed his best performance since the day he arrived and scored 3 goals today, the first goals of his City career.

With Manchester City's form, I was not expecting them to win the game yesterday. All my thoughts were that maybe the game would end in a draw or Newcastle would win. I also placed a bet, choosing the option of Newcastle scoring one goal, but unfortunately, Newcastle couldn't score any goal. That was the most painful part for me.

The new Newcastle team had played well, even against teams in better form than Manchester City this season, like Arsenal and Liverpool. I really didn’t expect the result yesterday because Manchester City's recent performances made me think they wouldn’t play so well against Newcastle. With this great performance by Manchester City against Newcastle, I just wish they can keep it up until the end of the season.

Liverpool started the game really strongly against Wolves and got a 2-0 advantage in the first half already. However in the second half they are more likely to throw the game.  

Wolves are quite dominant so far and this helped them score the goal to give them hope for a comeback. Now there are only 10 minutes left and Liverpool might not be able to afford conceding another goal.

0 shot in the second half... But I still expect them to secure the win. The bettors must be sweating in the final moments.

Man City are desperate to get a win over Newcastle after being humiliated by Real Madrid at their home ground in the previous match. They managed to do it with a convincing score, the victory also became a motivation for City players to make a comeback in the 2nd leg of the UCL play-off round.
Man City players really showed an extraordinary performance when they beat Newcastle, green rating for Man City players, I hope they can do the same at Real Madrid headquarters.

It was a too easy win for Manchester City unlike my expectations. I thought Newcastle would make big difficulties for them and we would watch an interesting game. However it was a one-sided game from the beginning already. And Marmoush of course... He was unbelievable! Making a hat-trick shortly after joining the team was impressive to watch.    I'm looking forward to watching Salah vs Marmoush next week. But probably the winner of the duel would be Salah considering his insane performance this season.

After this result, Guardiola's students are up at the 4th position again. They really have to battle hard for a top 4 spot as the points are too close to each other. Besides they aren't consistent as well.

This thing called football. It's always like that. Imagine the vigour, strength and tactics they used yesterday on Newcastle. I was so surprise that the almighty Newcastle that have beaten Arsenal 3 times this season(ones in the EPL, and twice in the Carabao cup) couldn't play anything against them(City). With the way City played, Newcastle became clueless. Isak was no where to be found. Weldon to Pep's men. They did a great job. They needed to stand the test or suffer drifting away from the top 4, and they conquered. Sincerely, I think city still has a chance to even climb higher in the table.

Talking about their next game against Madrid, I think it's over. Yea! Unless the God of soccer will surprise us if there is anything like that. Because REAL MADRID even in their worst form will not want to let go considering the fact they got victory already at the Etihad stadium. But it's football, let's watch

I know that Manchester United have been poor this season and have performed below expectations but come on, they're playing away at Tottenham Hotspur -a team that's very capable of beating any side in the English Premier League on their day. Looking at the available players at Ruben Amorim's disposal at the moment, I think his selection this afternoon isn't a bad one. James Madison is a big player and when you give him opportunity, he'll punish you like he did minutes ago.
That said, I think Manchester United can still bounce back into the game and get a result out of it but that can only be possible if they improve their performance

In my opinion, onana performed quite impressively in the first half although he had to concede in the 13th minute after the ball  rebound from catch, so the goal was inevitable as the manchester united defence stood without trying to stop Maddison from scoring , the counter-attacking scheme carried out by tottenham was actually able to trouble the red devils defence and Onana actually had to fight hard enough to block the shots made by the tottenham attackers, even in my opinion, if onana had not performed well in the first half of course they would has conceded more than one goal but onana was actually able to make some crucial saves, the second half has started now, in my opinion amorim needs to instruct their defenders to focus and not leave their positions too far when helping attacks, because I see that often manchester united defenders are left behind when tottenham attackers sprint in building counterattacks.

It is quite a necessary question that should be asked about Manchester United mentality, you’re playing a Tottenham team that isn’t good enough that is positioned in 15th and are having most of there big names injured. Manchester United needs to take responsibility and the players have to take responsibility as well, we can’t keep putting the blame on every manager that takes up the coaching role in the team, The attack isn’t performing very well they aren’t scoring enough goals, the goal keeper haven’t been good how does he concede a goal from the corner kick, he is underperforming, all the players in the field aren’t good enough they all should be sold and new players who are hungry should be brought in. It’s a team that lacks a good mentality. I think Amorim shouldn’t have been brought in now, it should’ve been in the summer. So he can build the team and sell some players and bring in some new players as well.

Tottenham and Manchester United  are in very bad form this season. Despite being two of the Premier League's most relegated teams, they are performing terribly. I didn't think Tottenham would win today. tottenham  have lost consecutively in their last 5 matches. On the other hand, Manchester United's performance has been erratic, but they have been able to perform well in several matches.

However, in today's home match, we can see an. excellent performance from Tottenham's players. Tottenham is still leading 1-0 after 85 minutes. However, Tottenham's overall gameplay is very  organized today. So far, Tottenham's players have been able to make a total of  20 shots, 7 of which were on target. Manchester United's players were able to make several strong attacks . But they could not break Tottenham's defense.

I wasn't very pleased with their play for real. Tottenham isn't at their best and have been flopping for a lot of teams lately but, still found a way to beat Manchester United.
Could it be that the absence of Amad on the team did contribute to their failure tonight? We know how Amad have helped the team especially in a time where they needed it.
Liverpool still continues their lead by winning yet another match. I had hoped to see more goals on the scoresheet but, Wolves being Wolves, they didn’t let them have so much sight of the goal.

Some people underestimated Manchester City so much in that match that they thought Newcastle would win the match. If you look at their respective performances, I think both teams were equally bad in the last match, but Manchester City performed brilliantly in that match and won the match easily. The most interesting thing about the match was not Manchester City's victory, but Omar Marmoush's success in scoring a hat-trick in just 14 minutes.

As a result of this victory, Manchester City managed to return to the Champions League zone which was previously controlled by Chelsea. Manchester City will probably get better as the second half of the season progresses, so I don't expect more people to underestimate them.

I don't think Guardiola will rotate too much anymore. Because their standings are bad in the Premier League. Losing could cause bigger problems for them. They are aware of this and that's why he doesn't use rotation. Marmoush showed a very important performance for Manchester City and made his first hattrick with the blues. I was also surprised by Newcastle's ineffectiveness throughout the match.

I know Manchester City's performance this season have been below expectations but I don't think it's gotten to the extent that you should be bold to stake on a Newcastle win at Etihad stadium -not when Pep Guardiola have signed few quality players to improve the quality of the squad this January. Incase you don't know who Omar Marmoush is or how prolific he can be, he was the second top scorer in the German Bundesliga before he left Eintracht Frankfurt to join Manchester City this January.
I wasn't surprised to see him score hattrick yesterday against Newcastle because I know too well that he's got the quality to do that week in, week out so you should expect more of such brilliant performance from the Egyptian striker going forward.

Liverpool were very satisfied to steal 3 points from Wolves even though in the second half it made Liverpool supporters a little afraid if the result was a draw. In the second half Wolves had a lot of efforts to put pressure and hoped to equalize the score but Liverpool's defense also became stronger in the second half.

Unlike Man United and actually since before the match started I started to suspect the odds given by the bookies. Because Spurs were favored in the match and it turned out to be true that MU performance was very bad. As if they did not have the ability to provide resistance. While Spurs have recently had a very bad performance but MU actually performed worse. But I have to remember that Man United does not have the best plan in the EPL. Only the European league is Man United's priority. So that his performance was not optimal in the EPL match.

I wasn't very pleased with their play for real. Tottenham isn't at their best and have been flopping for a lot of teams lately but, still found a way to beat Manchester United.

I wasn’t really surprise with the result of the match, the two teams have been performing poorly this season, I won’t really say one team is better than the other, so I was expecting a draw, or a narrow win from one of the club, but Tottenham were able to get a win in the match, I don’t really know know what Manchester United’s problem is, and their is no sign that their performance is going to improve.

Manchester United are currently in 15th position, with 29 points after 25 matches have been played.  that’s really a bad one for Manchester United, I never expected them to be at this position, even with a new coach, their is no improvement in Manchester United’s performance, they keep on dropping on a daily basis.

I just hope Amorim will be able to stay long at Manchester United, because United’s performance is so poor, even with Amorim as they coach, their is no change’s so I will say the fault is from the players and not the coach alone. I hope Manchester United will have patience, because I don’t think Amorim will be able to change Manchester United’s performance within a short period of time, Amorim is having a lot to work on.
