At this point of the season, even the fans of United do not expect them to do anything, it just doesn't feel like it is going to be anything good at all no matter if they win the next game or not. It is just "lets finish this season already and look for the future" period for them, been for a while but now even more so.

This is why I believe that they are not going to end up trying their best on anything at all, it just doesn't feel like it's worth it in the end. This way, I am sure we are going to see them just focus on which players should be leaving and which players they want to get next season. This way, they can see the players they have right now for the rest of the season and see which one deserves to stay.

Aston Villa this season is not like Aston Villa last season, in the sense that this season they have clearly experienced a decline in performance in the Premier League and this is likely influenced by the fact that they are participating in the UCL competition so that Unai Emery's focus is divided.

Everton game was definitely another expected game, a draw there was not something anyone expected, and those two games were games nobody expected from Liverpool, I can understand that. But they did beat Wolves after those two, and they had wins before that game too, so aside from those two games, I would say they did alright, so it is not like they are on a decline. I am sure this game will be simple for them again and they are going to end up with a win.

A good cross by Aston Villa but will Arsenal manage to make the header? Honestly I believe they can. Their next matchup is vs West Ham at Emirates. It's a really easy game for Arteta. As you know, they beat West Ham by 5-2 away earlier. We are looking at West Ham now if they have made progress since then... No, not at all. Arsenal may be moving forward from second place but from the start so far I can see Arsenal have a good points gap with Liverpool. If Arsenal can perform well and reduce this point gap, it could be a tough competition between Liverpool and Arsenal to win this title towards the end. Given the way Liverpool have been performing, I'll be tipping Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season. And in my view it seems that maybe Arsenal will finish the season in the second position this season like other seasons.

I really hope that this is not a sign of their inconsistency as you have just said. Liverpool has found themselves in a position were they have lost vital points in a space of 2 games. As it stands now, Liverpool has played more games than the team that are behind them and the gap between them and second placed team is 8 points with a game ahead. I really hope Liverpool can maintain their level and go on to win the league at the end of the season.

Well you can't blame any Manchester united fan, I means it's so hard to believe that the once great Manchester united is now a team struggling at the bottom half of the table with so much at stake if they continue to under perform like this. Football is not the way we perceive it most times. Sometimes big teams give in their best but the result at the end of the match becomes less than what we expect. Liverpool's score line against Aston Villa was better than losing the match. I was more worried when the score was 2-1 but their last minute equalising goal changed the shape of the game.
Arsenal on the other hand are not certain to win all their games to catch up with Liverpool after they play Everton they will meet with Nottingham Forest which I'm certain will be a big game that will stress them enough to threaten their chance of meeting up with Liverpool; so for me there is nothing much for Liverpool to worry about.

Aston Villa is a strong team that is in contention for a top four finish this season so Aston Villa is not a push over team in the premier League this game was a very important game for not only Liverpool but Aston Villa too because a win will have taken them to 7th place and their quest for a top four finish will have been closers I think Aston Villa must have gotten all three points from this game but they allowed Liverpool back into the game the best thing Aston Villa must have done was to be more on the offensive and defend resolutely till the end of the game

I wonder how Liverpool wasn't able to protect themselves by winning this game and decided to go on a draw with Aston Villa. Same thing happened on their first game last month where they ended in a draw with Manchester United who are at the 15th position of the league on a 2 - 2 goals. The next match played by them was against Tottenham where they were beaten 1 - 0. The next time they will draw was their game against Nottingham Forest then Everton who are 14th position and Aston Villa who are at 9th position. They are still 8 points above Arsenal but they might likely draw or lose their next game against Manchester City who are only left with the hope of winning Premier League at the current 4th position. Arsenal won against Leicester City on their last match and most probably going to win against West Ham on their next game which will close more gaps between them.

Manchester United should just go and rest at this point because their performance have only declined more in this season seeing them placed at a low position in the table standing. 15th position out of 20 of the table standing is a low performance by such a highly titled club who just recently changed their coach for good. No much improvements have been experienced however.

Seeing from the conditions that occur now the momentum is clearly owned by Arsenal, because if they can get 3 points in this match then indirectly they can immediately reduce the points gap to 5 points even though it is still quite far away but of course this is a good momentum to make them a little closer now to Liverpool, which is still untouched.

Now if Arsenal wins, which I am sure they will, that will make it to be just a 5 point gap, and that is very tough for Liverpool. In the end, we should not be really looking into this as a big deal, we are not looking at it like a big deal at the moment. Liverpool performance has dropped recently, they are beginning to play draw in matches which they are not suppose to draw, Liverpool played draw against Everton which I never expected, they played draw against Aston villa, those are matches which Liverpool are suppose to win, Liverpool are not suppose to be dropping points at the moment if they really want to win the premier league title this season, then they will have to improve their performance.

If Arsenal can win their next match, then they will be getting close to Liverpool, after staying at the top for some time, it’s going to be painful if Liverpool doesn’t win the tittle this season. Even as Liverpool performance has dropped, i still have confidence in them winning the title this season, because Arsenal performance has dropped also, they are not really playing like before.
