Everton Vs Manchester United

This week Everton are playing host to Manchester United at Goodison Park, and I won't be in shock if Manchester United get to lose in this game to Everton. This is a side that held Liverpool down in a 2:2 draw despite the good form Liverpool are in this season.

Ruben Amorim would have to face more criticism should his side fail to get 3 points from this match. Presently in the 15th position on the league table, losing this game would take Manchester United closer to the red zone and I see it happening because this team doesn't have the motivation yet to win Everton judging by both team's recent performance.

Man United has had a very inconsistent run of form and I think they could be heading for the relegation zone if they don't improve, and that's clearly not a good thing for Amorim because he is expected to be the solution to Man United's problems, but unfortunately, he actually made Man United look worse. It wasn't entirely his fault because the big boss seemed to be trapping him. Yes, he was expected to make Man United better, but they didn't leave him enough funds.

This will be a tough fight as they are not in good shape (so does their mentality) but they have to be able to rise because if they are late they will really be kicked out of the Premier League.

Amorim doesn't seem to know what to do right now, I think the coach is being overwhelmed by the huge responsibility he met in the club. This problem however isn't a fault of Ruben Amorim but due to a long time mismanagement of the club since Ferguson retired.


It's first half played already and so far it was another miserable 45 minutes for Manchester United who had no shots on goal all through the first half meanwhile Everton had 4 shots on goal  and are currently leading 2:0 as I had earlier anticipated about them winning this game due to the poor performance of Manchester United which has really dragged them down the table. I expect to see more goals in the second half for Everton.

Funny enough, Everton has one point above Manchester United, if Everton eventually wins this game, it will be four points, and United might actually be drifting towards the relegation zone. I was anticipating a draw, given the fact that both teams are on the average level because of their style of play, well let's just wait and see what the second half will bring, there is a lot of football be to played. Liverpool benefited in this match, because the condition of the Manchester City players was not good, they might not play optimally in this match, their elimination from the Champion League made the players mentally destroyed, this was a hard blow for them after all the hard work they did, however, it was not enough to keep them in the Champion League.

But however Liverpool still have to be careful, if we look back Manchester City often make unexpected surprises, it could be that the disappointment they are experiencing is used as fuel to win this match.

Well, irrespective of anything, Liverpool has been the team in the English Premier League to give Pep's Manchester City headache, Manchester City doesn't find it easy playing against Liverpool. On a norm it's meant to be a penalty but I think the game is a fixed draw, and base on record too between Everton and man United no matter how bad man United form are in the season I can still tell of some teams that still find it difficult to beat man United so easily no matter how bad, but nevertheless I think man United have the day and it's indeed a lucky one for them to draw from behind, after 2 goals down from first half of the game, and with no doubt man United is fund of coming from behind to surprise it opponents, it's not the first time, and I believe if there was still time man United could have won the game. Hahahaha.

It was very unfortunate, Everton failed to maintain the victory they had won since the first half with a score of 2-0. Because yes, Manchester United also managed to make 2 goals in the second half, until the match ended in a 2-2 draw. If Everton managed to win in this match, then maybe Amorim's position would really be threatened to be fired immediately but even so, there are also issues about Manchester United who are preparing or starting to look  for Amorim's replacement.

I don't know if it's true or not but, with Manchester United's poor record under Amorim, then I think it's quite reasonable if Manchester United has moved to find a new coach or maybe, Manchester United will still give Amorim a chance until next season. The most obvious is their strikers who are stuck in scoring goals, so that just to score a goal they have to rely on their wingers, midfielders, or even their defenders.

Actually, the solution is quite easy, that is selling the two strikers and signing a new striker who can really make a contribution (eg. Osimhen). But it is not easy for Man United to do all that because their reputation is not good (so it is difficult to just sell players) and they no longer have funds left, so it's pretty difficult if they want to sign a new striker.

Besides that, I also wonder why Amorim rarely gives Altay Bayindir a chance even though he played quite well against Liverpool (or when he was not injured), and strangely he still chooses Onana who I think is in erratic form and often makes some blunders in recent weeks.

Everton team managed to take a 2-0 lead in just 33 minutes of the first half. After Everton took a 2-0 lead I didn't think that Everton would fail to get 3 points in this match.

In the second half Manchester United scored their first goal in the 72nd minute. Fernendes scored the first goal. In the 80th minute, Manuel Ugarte's goal brought Manchester United back to parity. I am not satisfied with Manchester United's performance. Even then Manchester United managed to get 1 point this seems to be their big achievement.

Actually with the performance of manchester united in the first half of the game, I was thinking that everton can even make it 4 in the second half of the game. Because I never thought or imagine that manchester united can even succeed in scoring one goal talk more of making an equalizer. because when you look at their shot on target, manchester united had only 3 shot on target while everton had 8 shot on target that's to show how difficult it was for manchester united. but it was quite unfortunate that after all the whole possession manchester united still succeeded in drawing the match.
