Arsenal fans doesn’t have any options than to accept the second position every season because that's the best they can get. Even during Arse Wenger's reign, Arsenal was a business club so I don't see why they will be mad at Arteta who is always finishing on second positions recently.

In the past few seasons in the English Premier League, the teams in the first position of the points table have changed, but the teams in the second position of the points table have not changed. We have seen Arsenal finish second in the points table for the past few seasons. Arsenal have been competing hard with Manchester City for the last few seasons and they have finished second in the points table with a tough competition with Manchester City but this season they are not competing with Manchester City but are again competing with Liverpool. Now Liverpool are at the top of the English Premier League points table and Arsenal are second in the points table. Arsenal and Liverpool also have a considerable gap in points, so looking at the performances of the two teams and the current position of the two teams, it seems that maybe Liverpool will win the Premier League title and Arsenal will finish the season in second place again.

If we compare from wenger era at Arsenal, they are actually much better and stronger now in  last few seasons, But their weakness are not different at all still mentality and also consistency, althogh they still play fast, aggressive, and organized, but without the depth of a winning mentality and consistency with good squad depth of course it is in vain.
Last season their looked very Spartan competing with Manchester City but when Guardiola squad stumbled this season, Isn't this season should be an opportunity for them to win the title?
But unfortunately they don't have what it takes(mentality and consistency) to be winner, so I think they're not yet ready to become champions and Arsenal fans should accept that the reality although it is bitter .

Manchester City won the Premier League title in the last season but Arsenal's performance in that season was excellent and Arsenal fought hard until the last match and until the last match it seemed which team might win the Premier League title. Because in that match the equation was that the winner would win the Premier League title but in the last match Manchester City won and Arsenal lost and that was where the result of the match was decided. However, even if Arsenal failed to win the title, they proved that they can still compete. Arsenal performed competitively last season and they are doing so competitively this season too so Arsenal fans can expect their team to fight Liverpool till the last match. If Arsenal can overtake Liverpool to win the title this season, it might be a season to remember for them.

I totally agree with you. Letting go of Pep would be a huge mistake. He is the reason City has been so dominant, and even though this season has been rough, replacing him isn’t the solution. The squad needs reinforcements, not a new manager. A few key additions in weak areas could help City bounce back without disrupting the stability that Guardiola brings.

I share the same thoughts with you. It would be a very big mistake to sack him because of one disappointing season. I know some persons may think his divorce saga could be responsible for the club's poor performance, but they should not forget that City sold some key players without replacement and also Rodri's injury really affected the team. Based on what he has achieved for the club I think he deserves atleast one year to get them back to where they belong. But If he fails to do this after another chance, then they can part ways with him.

Are you insinuating that this is a gadiola's problem or lack of proper tactics that's disturbing the team? As a coach, pep is still acing and there is no reason to think that it's alright to get him to exit from the club. Someone that has led the team to consistent victory of the domestic league and have record that only a few coach can equal deserves more than any form of consideration of his sack. If by chance or due to the frustration he's facing now he eventually leaves this team, just know that it's going to be really tough for any coach that will take over from him. The track record and standard that gadiola has set at Manchester city is one that will place any new coach that is just coming into the team at a tough spot in terms of achieving anything close to that.

Even with the kind of season he's had, he still has a chance of remaining in the champions League for next season and if that's what they are able to achieve before the end of the season, it's going to be a good one to start working from. Ancelotti had his own downtime even with the players in the team and even the almighty sporting CP coach that was brought to Manchester United as her Messiah is not facing anything better. It's part of what's associated with the coaching job. Set backs are part of it but considering a sack for just a single season of poor performance will make it look like they don't deserve the result he has built over this years for them.

The funniest thing is that Arsenal is back to back trophyless. I wonder whether they still keep their PL victory arch last season. They're pure bottlers now.  

Yeah, Arsenal's hands are once again left empty. People continue to make memes out of their situation. Normally I'd like to see Arsenal winning a PL trophy also but they just can't. They should somehow break this loser image of them. I don't know maybe it's about not having a squad good enough for this target. They have suffered with serious injuries too. Saka is out above all else and there is nobody else to keep the club as productive as before. 

I want to see how capable this club will be after signing a star centre-forward this summer. I still want to believe there will be something changing for real. In a positive way. I don't think the problem is Arteta. He is the one who saved this club from a terrible condition.

Pep Guardiola is the main reason why everyone is frighten when facing Manchester City on the pitch. Everyone started thinking of the EPL as farmer's league, it means zero competition in the league following the consecutive winnings and domination of one particular elite team. Manchester City keep the trends rising in all standard but this season is quite different. They fumbled, other elite team that kept close range on the EPL title didn't hesitate to take their chances and they're infront.

Man City dominance in the EPL for the past few years has finally collapsed after several key players suffered injuries, as a result they have difficulty maintaining balance and now have to raise the white flag in the trophy hunt. What Man City experienced is very difficult to happen in Ligue 1, even though PSG performance has declined, they still became champions at the end of the season.
Unlike the EPL, there are still many other strong teams ready to take over the first position. This season Liverpool is at the forefront of the title race, while Arsenal is still very far from expectations.

Very difficult in the sense that you can't compare how competitive and tough the Premier League is to that of Ligue 1, in Premier League the moment anything happens to you as a team or football club either by loss of form or the club has so many players on injuries, the rivalry team will immediately take that in their advantage, whereas this is not so in the Ligue 1, we've seen several times where PSG is not totally inform and yet lift their league trophy at the end, this barely happens when it comes to the Premier League, the moment you lose form in a particular season other teams takes advantage of it and climb up the table.

Liverpool have winning odds of 1.29. I think that's high, so the bookmakers see a risk in this match. Liverpool must be stopped to prevent them from widening the point gap. Eddie Howe can take advantage to get points here and take his team to the European Cups. It's very difficult but not impossible.

Newcastle will break their bad records against Liverpool in EPL if that happens. They always got bad results when they fought Liverpool. The problem is that i can't really favor them to get the draw. This is because Liverpool is getting its comfy after they widen their gap from Arsenal.

I expect Liverpool will play without even getting any pressure. They will always threatening newcastle's defenders. Let me to predict the game will ended with 3-1 Liverpool take three points.

Why will Manchester city even think of sacking pep Guardiola just because his performance dropped this season? I don't even think the management will make the mistake of sacking pep Guardiola, because if they can do that, they are going to regret that. Pep Guardiola have been performing well at Manchester city for years, he made then what they are today, so just one season decrease in performance shouldn't make them make that kind of decision. What the management should do right now is just to work with pep Guardiola, and look for how they are going to improve the teams performance.

I know Manchester city performance has dropped, but its not so worst that they will sack pep Guardiola, a coach that has won four premier league title in a row for Manchester city, why will they even think about sacking him just because of a season, they should just allow him fix the club, because its going to be difficult for a new coach to fix Manchester city.

To be fair beating Southampton isn't a big deal, Chelsea shouldn't be really that much happy about it, we are quite used to seeing Southampton lose at this point. The cheer is all about them being fourth place once again, which is awesome of course for them, but they have no clue if City will take it back or not. They may, or they may not ,we have no clue.

In the end, this is a whole process, and we need to see these teams fight until the end, we have no clue how close it will be, and how it will change, but at this point I still suggest that there is a possibility where City and Chelsea both end up in top four, and Nottingham ends up fifth, sure that doesn't look like the case right now, but they lack experience, so it may still happen.

City firing Pep Guardiola would undoubtedly be the beginning of their downfall. While the team has struggled this season with a series of disappointing performances, I believe the solution lies in strengthening the squad rather than changing the manager. To return to their best, City must bring in quality players who will be able to add both depth and skills to the team. A well structured transfer plan will be needed ensuring the right signings and that they don’t break the FFP regulations.

In as much as Pep Guardiola have done his best for this team, if he can’t continue at the pace he has taken this team so far to, he may likely be replaced by another manager. It is too soon now to make conclusions on that, because the season is not yet over and we may see him perform wonders and finish in a good position that he’ll be considered for more season with the club. His current form with the team was not what anyone saw coming because even at the start of the season, they were amongst the major contender of the league title, both the premier league and the champions league. Now that they’ve been eliminated from the champions league, we may see a different Manchester City as their focus will only be on the premier league and they would try at least to finish in a good position since the odds to finish first is no more on their side again.

Well of course, it would have been awesome for City to win, but not like they were playing Ipswhich or something, they were playing against Liverpool, it's normal for them to lose and that is what was expected of them too. City has been terrible all season long, so it's not really that shocking to see them losing to top of the ladder, probably champion team.

Sure in previous seasons when you said City vs Liverpool, and check their h2h, we could assume that City was better, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something that will change it the long term, we can't make that better without a doubt. So all in all, we should be considering this as a way of moving forward without worrying about what happened.

It could be that Newcastle and Liverpool only draw without either winning or losing between them.
Liverpool will be looking for a win in this match to ensure the points chase from Arsenal who are not certain to win against Nottingham Forest so they can concentrate on the match against PSG in the Champions League.
The opportunity to win this match because the match takes place at Anfield can be a strong supporting factor but Newcastle also do not want to lose after they managed to win in the last match.

Newcastle lost to Liverpool, and I won’t be surprise if Liverpool continue with their current lead. The first half of the match has just ended, and Liverpool played well in the match, Liverpool are currently at the first position on the table, and they will want to do everything in their power to maintain the first position, and if they want to achieve that, then they should try and get a win in the matches which they are having left.

Arsenal is currently in second position, they are behind Liverpool which is is in first position, Liverpool are currently trying to maintain their point deference with Arsenal, So Liverpool will want to get a win against Newcastle today.

If Pep really turned EPL into the farmer league, many people who are not fans of his club would be so mad. I have seen so many people who hatred to him so much just because he won 4 PL trophies in a row.

We might be seeing people yapping about here and there on Pep. So, the god has nerfed his club, and he can rebuilding his winning club back from the scratch.

Is it that the gods have answered people's prayers, or what? What is happening to Manchester City is what many clubs are already verging fall to see the downfall of Manchester City because Pep Guardiola has for long dominated the Premier League to the extent that fans of other clubs have begun to take the Premier League to be farmer league for Manchester City.

However, Pep Guardiola didn't see this coming to him in a manner that his team would find it so hard to win against teams in the Premier League like. Imagine the almighty Manchester City not qualifying for the round of 16 and their top position not stable in the Premier League table. That's really somehow to imagine

Yep, for now there is actually a little happiness for several other clubs when Manchester City experiences something like this because in the end the dominance of 4 consecutive seasons for the EPL is clearly not a good thing so it will be quite natural when there is a lot of grapevine about the EPL which is only a peasant league because even every season Pep has always made history in the previous few seasons including last season. But for now it is clear that the situation is a little different even though in terms of competition now is not as good as before where Liverpool are currently running alone without getting any obstacles but as long as Manchester City is held back it seems like this provides more encouragement and happiness for some fans.

Manchester City since a few seasons ago too dominate in the EPL which sometimes makes their players complacent especially seeing Pedri now who sometimes talks more so for now at least it is enough to make that they are still the same club and next season they must improve their current performance.

Congratulations to Manchester United! A really tough win that was for sure.    After that red card I thought there would be another point loss for them. But I really like the way they fought their way for the 3-2 win.

I liked the way they answered Ipswich today. Yeah maybe they weren't a strong opponent but this is still a good thing to see. The remaining part of the season will still be challenging for them. Amorim should be only targeting to finish the season away from the relegation area as much as possible.

Match week 27 is almost finished - only 1 match remains between West Ham vs Leicester City.

There are 6 team that are sure to win the maximum 3 point in each match and these include Brighton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and maybe Liverpool. Brentford, Everton, Nottingham and Arsenal each drew - but West Ham have a good chance of winning. I'm obviously very happy to see Liverpool able to maintain their best performance against Newcastle at the moment - for now the score is still 2-0 in favor of Liverpool.

Last season was the a great season for Manchester City they make an excellent performance throughout unlike this season that their performance is not that stable, Arsenal are always try as much as possible in every season to make sure that there performance moving well; even this season I make proud of their performances.

Of course - Manchester City have been terrible this season, but I don't know what you are proud of about Arsenal apart from being runners up in the last 3 seasons ^{[including this one].} Arsenal should be able to do better than their mistakes last season - they clearly resulted in them failing to win the title. This season is no different - they have continued their inconsistency in maintaining performance in the second half of the season.

Just as predicted, Liverpool will win the league without much struggle this season because Arsenal is not a team to contend for any title, they are what we call title pretenders and not contenders. Manchester City if in form would have put up a better show than this so called Gunners of a team. Arsenal is never a team to put your hopes on.

Liverpool didn't have much problems with Newcastle tonight. Another 3 points after 2-0 win. Newcastle didn't even managed to make a single shot on target (and only 3 shots in total).
Nottm Forest an Arsenal split points, which was a good news for Man City, who won an away game against Tottenham 1-0. The City have lost 2 previous games against Spurs (one of them being an embarasing 4-0 loss in front of own audience) so it was unclear how well would they do today, but they didn't disappoint and got their revange. It was a decent, good paced game and it's a bit of surprise we didn't see more goals.
Currently Man City is only 1 point behind the 3rd Nottm Forest and I think it's just a matter of time before they take that spot. And, I think, the 3rd place is the most they can hope for this season.

I expected a better performance from Newcastle United but their game was disappointing. I knew they would concede goals but I thought they would also score. They didn't even have a shot on goal in the game. It was one of the easiest games for Liverpool. With Arsenal dropping points, Liverpool are now very comfortable. They have 10 games left and they are unlikely to drop points in 4 of them. Considering that Arsenal can't win all their remaining games, we can say that Liverpool are now champions. After this time, a miracle is needed for Liverpool to lose the championship.

As expected,  Arsenal failing to put pressure on Liverpool and now Manchester City is catching up to them especially that they won , while the Gunners drop points against a determined Nottingham Forest who look like a team set to play the champions league 

Manchester United played some interesting football with a man down,  but you know what... Onana needs to play with the reserves as his allowing silly goals to go past him...otherwise had it not been for lord Maguire United would have been thinking of relegation right now.
