After losing to West Ham without any goal, I now strongly believe that Leicester City would not be in the EPL next season, Ruud Van Nistelroy has tried his best but it's not enough to keep them in the Premier League, their defense and attack is very poor and that's why they concede goals without replying back, four consecutive times is not a coincidence it shows how poor they're currently, too bad they'll have to go back to the Championship League. Anyways, Maguire is a clear example that footballers should learn to overlook their critics and work hard to improve better, they should use the backlash from fans on the media as a motivation to get better, that's clearly what he did and that's why he's improved from a player most hated by fans to a better player currently.

Definitely with the level of performance this season, relegation seems inevitable. They have been consistently weak, their defense has been a major issue, and their attacking department has struggled to convert chances when it matters most. If they want to turn their season around, Ruud van Nistelrooy needs to come up with an effective strategy to restore confidence and form.

They are still struggling in the main competition and whether we realize it or not we can see that the 3 promoted clubs this season just can't seem to get the momentum to end up in the same zone and possibly go to the Champions League at the same time just like they did when they were promoted at the beginning of the season.

But indeed this is a situation that has become natural because after all the main competition in the EPL is clearly much more difficult than what they feel in the Champions League so inevitably they have to admit that for now they still don't deserve to be here.
Leicester is actually not a new name because after all they were once one of the clubs that was quite surprising, it's just that several problems including about their finances made them destroyed and until now they still can't return their performance to the EPL.

Leicester City won the English Premier League title in 2016 and since then, their fork have significantly dropped as they even suffered relegation in 2022/23 season before getting promotion back to the English Premier League just one season after so it's been long they've fallen down the pecking order in English football. This season, I expected better from them considering the fact that they had an incredible campaign in the Championship last season but unfortunately, they've been the second worst team in the league. Ruud Van Nisterooy in his managerial capacity arrived the club to improve their performance but it now looks obvious that he can't help them.

But, if for example Van Nistelrooy managed to make Leicester rise with just that squad composition, then Van Nistelrooy's career would be very good. But yes, in reality Van Nistelrooy also failed which would have a bad impact on his coaching career too, but the mistake might be Leicester itself. Because after all, from the previous few seasons it is also a fact that Leicester did not spend a lot of money to buy players, because they prefer to make their finances stable without any debts and larger arrears. This is never about staining his CV or destroying it. He simply saw an opportunity and grab and it is definitely a good opportunity he took. Should Leicester gets relegated today I think no fan will actually put it on Ruud Van Nistelrooy because everyone actually sees the way the team is been sent out and the kind of football they play, it is super clear that Leicester are not having any tactical problems but rather they are suffering from top quality. Most of their quality players are today old and cannot perform at the level they use to before.

For me I think this wouldn’t stop Ruud from landing any top Job should any team considers him, I am likening his performance and story line to that of the former Burnley head coach and now Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany. He relegated with his club but the German giant saw what he was building and they went for him and we all can agree he is at this moment doing a fantastic job, Ruud can have similar results too at a bigger club

The 3 promoted teams are staring at relegation. Southampton is bottom so they have a mountain ahead if they are to survive. Leicester and Ipswich are the other teams. If Kieran McKenna saves Ipswich and Ruud saves Leicester which teams get relegated?

I don’t think both clubs can actually avoid relegation at the same time  for me should there be any chance of avoiding relegation I think it will be one of the two because with the point gap on the table only wolves who are just five points ahead of the two clubs is the only club I think might fall off which could make one of the newly promoted team to avoid relegation

I'm equally impressed with Liverpool this season and how Arne Slot is taking the leadership role as far as the performance of English managers is concerned this season. Liverpool have got good squad depth this season and are making the best use of it with goals being generated smoothly to win their matches more frequently. Throughout last month of February, Liverpool played in 8 different matches with one match belonging to the FA Cup 1 - 0, in all of these matches, only two games were draw games which was against Everton and Aston Villa.

But I think one reason for their inconsistency is that they didn’t improve on most of the positions compared to the last seasons. I thought they would hire some well known players, but the are more about taking some risk and build high potential played into stars. That can save some money, but come at the risk of going wrong for some of the players they think have potential.

Still they are to be taken seriously,  but in my opinion not in terms of becoming the Premier League champions. The distance in general between them and clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City is too big.

That's another thing yeah. When Newcastle was bought by very rich people, I thought it would be the start of a completely new era. I expected them to sign a very successful and well-known manager first. Then to go for big signings.

But none of them happened.    They are rich but can't use their money very effectively. If only they signed a big name for the manager position then maybe they could be more convincing for big players to sign for them.

For example Manchester City is aiming to let go of some of their stars such as De Bruyne. Newcastle shouldn't miss this kind of opportunities at least.

I also thought with Saudi money coming into Newcastle, they would sign top talents and a world class manager but that didn't happen. Newcastle have proven that it takes more than just having financial backing to be successful in the Premier League.

I don't think they should try to sign Kevin De Bruyne even on a free transfer given his age. The Premier League demands a high level of physical fitness and endurance and with his history of injuries Kevin De Bruyne might struggle to perform at the highest level consistently.

Is so sad to see leicester in such a poor performance, you know ever since leicester came out from the relegation zone till now I have never seen them performing very well. they're just being too lazy to the extent that almost all the premier league teams always defeat them, Moreover I don't think if this is the leicester city I use to know back then, I still doubt it.

 However, talking about van nistelrooy I think the man is just being frustrated by the club.because they are not performing the way he expected, the truth is that he never saw this coming, because had it mean he do.I think he wouldn't have join the club in the first place, just imagine his first time of coaching the club and they're about to be relegated.

Things can still fall apart we know. My only problem with Arteta is that he knew he needed to close the gap between them and Liverpool and he ended up losing against WestHam and drew against Nottingham Forest. This two games dropped his chances to a very slim possibility but I still believe anything CV and still happen.

Same mistakes Arteta has kept making for some seasons now, he loses and draws at important matches and it is becoming a custom for him. Very disheartening that Arsenal got two chances of closing the gap against Liverpool but couldn't. Even if anything can still happen in the end, i don't see it coming through for Arsenal.

Arne Slot built a big team for him self and has stood as the giant of the premier league for the season but I am sure this isn't the end of the road. We could be hoping Liverpool have lifted the trophy only for things to begin going sour as we start approaching the end of the season.

No doubt Liverpool will win EPL trophy this season. Liverpool has no serious opponent. Arsenal is the closest team to challenge Liverpool but they become very inconsistently recently. The point gap is 13 points, it is almost impossible that Arsenal can reach Liverpool in the 1st place. I think the race for the title is over for EPL, Liverpool should be the champion.

For UCL, Liverpool is still the most consistent team so far. But in the knock out round, it won't be as easy as in the league phase. Liverpool must defeat PSG first before they expect to reach the final and try to win the UCL trophy. However, Liverpool has a good chance if they have no problem with injured players until the end of the season.

There is no doubt about that, not just Premier and Champions League, they have treble winner target for this session, Carabao Cup Final is already in sight, They will face Newcastle on Webley Stadium and have favorite to get that trophy. This is their first step to continue another thropy, this kind of spirit to spark the squad into action. Arni Slot implemented a brilliant strategy at the beginning. He combines the Dutch and Guardiola styles which makes them unstoppable and unhindered. What are important things to be alert about are stamina and fitness. The player should have much rest time and implement a rotation strategy. So far, it has succeeded. Arny always rotates a player when Liverpool is not playing an important match.

Why is it an all-or-nothing game though? I'm pretty sure Forest will face Chelsea and there are still many games to play against lower-table teams on their schedule. Even if they target a top 4 finish, losing or drawing against City is not the end of everything. I'm pretty sure they will try to get a point too, but it's not all bleak when they lose the game IMO. It's not like they're trying to finish above Arsenal or chase Liverpool either (well, at least that's how it feels for a neutral like me).

Man City are in a dubious state towards the end of the season so I wouldn't underestimate Nottingham Forest. This is a game that on paper is hard to predict the outcome. All teams have a big chance especially Nottingham Forest who are very determined this season to secure a ticket to UCL next season. Then Chelsea obviously have to get back on track if they really bet on finishing 4th in the standings. Yesterday against a relegated team they were able to get points easily so it's no different now against Leicester City.

Arsenal still have a chance, but it's obviously very tough because they are not only required to play well consistently, but they also have to hope that Liverpool will struggle in the following games. But if Arteta can be realistic, then it would be better if they quickly waved the white flag in the EPL race, so they can focus on other competitions (eg, the Champions League), and that might increase their chances there.

I don't think so. Liverpool's consistent form and winning mentality sets them apart from Arsenal this season, it is impossible for Arsenal to be able to catch up or even upset Liverpool in the race for the English Premier League title this season. I think it’s best for Arsenal fans to remove all hope of winning silverware this season to avoid further disappointment.

However, it's just my fear, but Liverpool has always dealt with Southampton and this could be their opportunity to grab a sure 3 point. I'd predict over 2.5 on the match.

Nottingham Forest, who were at the bottom of the table last year and narrowly escaped relegation, are playing exceptionally well this year. Of course, I think they can give Manchester City a hard time, but to tell the truth, Manchester City will beat them. The wind can turn at some point and until the wind does, this fairy tale will continue for Nottingham. Watching their success this year is truly a wonderful feeling. I am happier when I see teams that have no claim to the Premier League succeed.
