If Arsenal fail to win the title this season, then there can be no greater failure for them. While the team has had some problems in other seasons, this season they have a balanced team with a lot of depth. Yet they have failed to maintain consistency and they are not able to dominate as expected. They have repeatedly given Manchester City chances, if history repeats itself, Arsenal may lose support.

Arsenal did a little better against Manchester United, but it was not enough to win. On the other hand, Manchester United deserved to win, their performance impressed me. It was a shameful defeat for Arsenal at home.

Just one match lost is having no impact on their chances of title, in this season even they are having not good time in Premier league but they still have enough energy and sources to fight back with their performance and quality, they are leading the league table from start of this season.

23 rounds ended 15 remaining many changes can happen, but now Arsenal is still one of the best team with good attack and solid defense while their consistency is also impressive, Manchester City and Aston Villa are having good chance of giving them challenge but most chances this season, they could be done good enough to have their first title in years due to good performance.

I think you are right , Arsenal have the best team this season but football is unpredictable is not just about having a big team it's about timing, , and seizing key moments even with depth inconsistency can cost Arsenal dearly, hopefully they can find that spark before it's too late otherwise it could be tough blow for the whole fans in the world.

Carrick literally just told them to play in a back four instead of whatever was coming from Amorim's head. That's it. Simple stuff but apparently nobody thought of doing that before?

Under Amorim they looked confused, hesitant, they looked like they were always thinking about positioning, not playing. Now Mainoo's back in the team, Bruno's higher up and suddenly everything makes sense again. Sometimes football is really that simple and the coaches over-complicate it for no reason.

I really agree with your last sentence. And unfortunately I think there is a reason: ego. Probably in the last 10-15 years we saw the managers becoming real football stars, just like the players. Why? Because they would come up with crazy ideas, and every time they have to push it more and more. In my opinion Guardiola is the one to "blame". I don't support Real Madrid but I've always been a big fan of Vicente del Bosque because he never came up with crazy ideas, he simply told players to do what they were supposed to do, and he won without even being noticed. They always talked about the Galacticos but the real star was on the bench. It's no coincidence after Perez fired del Bosque Real Madrid had some serious troubles.

And I think this ego problem mainly affects young managers because they want to be noticed now, not in 20 years. In the past young managers would start managing in lower leagues and slowly build a reputation, now we have a bunch of freshly-retired footballers managing the best teams in the world. Manchester City last game they played without Haaland till the 73'mins when he was introduced and Cherki went off. You see what happened in that game seems to me like City are some how trying to work without Haaland for one reason or the other, it is unusual for him to sit on the bench for that long or even not making the first selection of the squad, like what is Pep planning? This is when the player need to find his rhythm to be in the game and he knows that he's not giving his all for the squad and he need to restart his guns to start getting goals because that's what he's good at, talking about Haaland... What is Pep cooking?

What do you mean when playing against Wolves?? I think it natural that Pep didn't put Haaland in at the start of the match because Pep felt his club could face Wolves without having to take out some of his mainstay players to play full time, Wolves is the weakest club currently in the EPL so there no need to spend too much energy for Man City to win the match the proof is they can get 3 points and Haaland was put in when the match was almost over just to put pressure on Wolves but Halaand was also unable to add goals in that match, it seem Haaland himself is also experiencing problems with his goal productivity.

Obviously, people have a way of trying to be diplomatic over things that need to be critically looked at. I earlier made  an analogy about how Arsenal has remained unchallengeably consistent in the first round in the premier league run for almost a decade now.

But one thing remains paramount, Arsenal will always maintain the status quo from the early or mid part of second round leaving the trophy for the owners.

I have seen how Arsenal FC beat Chelsea FC with a score of 2-3. I think this is a good step and opportunity for Arsenal to move up to the next ranking. Unfortunately, Man United beat Arsenal 2-3, this is a valuable lesson and experience for Arsenal in the 2025/2026 Premier League standings.

Arsenal is still leading the premier League with some points Arsenal still has a big chance of winning the league, yes they were not in their best performance against Manchester United but that doesn't make them tolose out on the league title. The biggest of teams even lose and we saw that play out in the German Bundesliga were Bayern munich lost to a small team. Arsenal still remain the favorite to win the league.


What you have to know about this win by Manchester United over Arsenal is that Manchester United is having a change when it comes to their management so everything is expected to change and that includes the way that they play. Since the changing of their coach there has been a significant improvements in the Manchester United setup and it has translated to this types of wins.

Yes, Arsenal is still leading the premier league standings with 4 points, but people are just worried for Arsenal because the premier league has a long way to go before the season will end, and Arsenal might lose the premier league title to Manchester City if they are not careful. Arsenal was in their best form against Manchester United, but what made Arsenal lose to Manchester United was because Arsenal believed Manchester United could not beat them at Emirates stadium. Even if Manchester United has a new coach,  Arsenal was supposed to at least play a draw with Manchester United at Emirates stadium to save themselves from pressure, but Manchester United beating Arsenal has exposed Arsenal's weakness.

This is an extremely interesting match, very good , I don't want to miss it. In fact, I'd say that Manchester United can beat Arsenal , and I'd like them to They can do it; they've already shown they can beat any team. I just hope they're at 100% and that their basic strategy pays off, It all depends on the players and the effort they put into this game.

Manchester United won't be able to win Premier League title in this season while their main task is getting a position in top four, and as highest rank in top four as possible. With this surprising win against Arsenal, Manchester United achieved their task in this match, 3 points for get in top four, and indirectly they helped Premier League title competition becomes more exciting.

I basically agree with that statement getting the Premier League title this year will be tough for Manchester United, given how many games we've lost consistently, and how much better all the other teams are at the very top of the table. Right now, the goal needs to be making sure we finish in the Top Four, and while just barely doing so would be okay, ideally we need to go as far as we can to get some momentum and belief back.

The win over Arsenal was massive, it wasn't just about the 3 points we earned, but also about the heart and guts shown by the team, this is exactly what Manchester United have lacked, showing up for the big teams, keeping discipline, and winning when we're most needed, It puts us in solid position in the Top Four race, and tells everyone else that we'll be a thorn in their side anytime we step onto the pitch.

I agree Arsenal team has strength and power to win matches, but i disagree Arsenal team has the zeal to win trophies because a team that has the zeal to win trophies would not miss a chance to extend the points gap with their rivals on premier league matchday 22 and drop 3 points on premier league matchday 23, which has created a chance for their rivals to challenge for the premier league title in the middle of the premier league season. Arsenal should make sure they win the premier league title this season, and they should not miss the premier league again this season if they do not want some of their fans to commit suicide at the end of the season.

It's true that Arsenal lost to Manchester United and they were not in their best performance in that match, but they are still the most consistent team in the league and you don't judge them on losing to Manchester United alone. In my opinion they will still win the EPL, because the other teams are not in the same level with them, Arsenal are a team that are capable of winning the next 5 matches and I don't think the other title contenders cam do that right now. Manchester City is not the same team we use to know and I don't think Aston Villa and withstand the pressure, so I still think that Arsenal will win the title,  despite the loss to Manchester United.

This was the 3rd week in a row that Arsenal lost points in the Premier League. They had just better be thankful for Manchester City too as they were also getting bad results meanwhile. 

The gap is still 4 points maybe but it doesn't give good signals for Arsenal either. They should get better by starting with a win against Leeds next week. Otherwise if Manchester City pull themselves together earlier then another title chance would be wasted by Arteta...

Liverpool continue with their struggles in the Premier League, with time they might not be in the top 5 on the league table with other teams winning their games and pushing them off the champions league position. Their performance hasn't been impressive and I wonder who's going to take the blame for all these that have been happening, good thing is clear that since Salah left they still didn't do much in terms of performance and now we are waiting to know who's going to take the fall. 5 games 4 draws and a loss, too bad. What seems to be the problem for Slot and his boys?

Arsenal should be better than this in big matches! First the draw against Liverpool and now a 2-3 loss against Manchester United. Both of them happened at Emirates...

The EPL is the biggest league in the world. It is more competitive than the Laliga and Serial A. So if Arsenal wins a big team in those leagues and draws or loses in the EPL just understand that the competition on both sides are very much different. An average team in the EPL can't b compared to the top 4 in those other leagues. I am not saying this to underestimate any league but the reality is clubs like Man City, Aston Villa and the rest are bigger clubs at the European level compared to their domestic league.

Liverpool has suffering 7 defeat during this season in all competitions i think this is dissapointing because as defending champion their performance is opposite compared to last season and do not expect Liverpool to joining for race title anymore because it's impossible for them but i think top 4 is the realistic target for them but it won't be easy because they have to compete with Manchester united and Chelsea for that position

Changing coach in the middle of competition is risky especially Liverpool have to play on other competition such as champion league and i think the management still give the chances to Arne Slot to finished this season which mean if Slot can bring Liverpool to finish at champion league spots maybe the management will not sack him but if Slot failed and Liverpool finished the season with unexpected position i am sure Liverpool will have new manager for next season

To be honest, I also think that if Arsenal fails to win the title this season with this team, then nothing could be a greater failure for them than this. And if they miss the opportunity this season, then they will not be able to win the Champions League title again in the next 4-5 years. They should use this opportunity because it is very difficult for a new or host team to make history in a big match of a big league, compared to those who have already won the title once or more times. Also, this is because of the fear of history repeating itself. So all in all, you have to use the opportunity because the opportunity does not always come, the opportunity comes only once, those who can use it become champions. Those who cannot, they stop and choke.

Plenty of us lost money on this game, to be fair I did not wager that much on Arsenal, but still it was a bet and I did lose it and usually whenever I lose a wager I am quite upset, not a lot, not like angry, just sad that I lost it. But, very few times in history where I end up losing a wager but feel happier for it, you do not lose money and feel happy because of it.

However, in this case I did feel happy because it was such a lovely game and seeing United win against first and second place of the league and get six points out of that back to back weeks was something marvellous and gave me chills, and I was so happy to see the last goal by Cunha, that was an amazing goal, did not expected this result at all.

Michael Carrick is a Manchester United legend and understands the club's philosophy, which is why he reverted to a back four formation because Amorim's back three formation wasn't suited to Manchester United. In the two matches under Carrick guidance, it was clear that Manchester United's play with a back four was dynamic and more structured, even beating two of the strongest teams in the Premier League. Under Carrik, all the players were happy because they could play in their natural positions and according to their wishes without much pressure or demands.

We can't judge Arsenal just from their defeat against Man United and I also see the Manchester United team which is currently in good form and indeed sometimes a team can't perform optimally in a match like Arsenal experienced so I think overall there is no problem with the Arsenal team, they are just unlucky and the opponent they faced could have performed better in that match.

The performance we saw of Manchester United against Arsenal was really interesting. Many thought that Arsenal would beat Man United and collect 3 points but it was completely the opposite. We have been really disappointed with Arsenal's performance recently, especially their fans, no one imagined that a strong team would lose like this. Man United played really well in this match, especially their finishing line was very good. They attacked quickly and scored goals, collected points, and thus came in fourth place.
However, many are asking such questions that Arsenal's performance is really disappointing. Manchester City seems to never miss this opportunity. If they play badly in the next matches this season, then Arsenal will definitely lose the title, but Manchester City will go ahead to win the title.

Expecting Arsenal to win wasn't really out of touch, that was a normal expectation and what should have happened, and even odds showed as much. And while United shows promise these days with Carrick, we have to also realize that United wasn't that great as a look, and a single managerial change didn't give that much hope to people.

Also remind you that Carrick wasn't "hired", he was seen as interim and everyone assumed he would be replaced by someone else, and yet now because of these two games, I guarantee he will stay until the end of the season and maybe more.

Have four point remaining with Manchester City and Arsenal still at the top position I think too early withdrew Arsenal from the candidate team winning premier league tittle this season. Have bad performance in last several matches actually not close yet for Arsenal get premier league trophy have waiting more than twenty years ago and won't finish at 2nd place after three season in a a row always finish as runner up position.
I am not Arsenal fans, but seeing the opportunity Arsenal has bigger chance with premier league trophy this season because the several competitor teams not perform well such as Man City and Liverpool.
