As lightly promised before, I now begin my entry into this challenge. TLDR: Very bad shoulder injuries two years ago this July, not fully recovered (long term, perhaps permanent).

I discovered these last couple of weeks that I can complete, with difficulty, a proper push-up. Don't mind my small numbers, and once they become too sore/numb I might have to pause =) Done in two sets.

It's nice to see new people in the thread. I hope you stick around in this challenge.
It was another very hot day. There's an oppressive heat outside, made worse by the humidity. Experts keep warning people not to stay out in the sun during midday. After finishing up my work outside, I did my usual 200 push-ups in the evening, 10 sets of 20 reps.

You are highly welcome to the push-up challenge. We don't discourage any number of push-ups anyone can do in this push-up challenge because we understand some persons lack the stamina or strength to do quantity of push-ups at the start of their push-ups. It is good you are now a part of this push-up challenge, but if you are consistently doing push-ups, even though it's 10 push-ups for a week, believe me, as time goes on, you will see yourself increasing the quantity of push-ups with the passage of time.

Been a long time since I’ve had 2 updates in the same day. Mostly the result of me slacking on this challenge and not getting my push-ups done earlier in the day. I’m going to see if I can reinvigorate myself and get excited about keeping this challenge going.

I understand how tiring doing the same exercise daily for over 500 days could be some times. You have already shown the consistency and if I'm right you've only missed a total of about 8 days without doing the pushups since the you started this challenge and it's not a bad one. As a human, it is normal to feel too exhausted or less excitement to do a particular daily routine some days. It's good also that you now wish to intensify your commitment the more.

180 push ups for two days. 90 for a day.
20×3, and 15×2 sets. I really wanted to increase the last set, but everywhere becomes so weak. It's a one step at a time, slow and steadily we will climb.

It is normal to feel tired but you should not stop, definitely continue and you will see that you will feel much better after a few days. I did not realize that you can see so many changes in your body so soon, but wait for a month and continue some exercises including push ups, I hope you will see more changes in your body and your body will feel much fitter. But gradually increase the push ups, try to complete 100 in a few sets.

Even a month is enough to show progress. If you're training properly, you'll see results in a short time. Training, nutrition and sleep all work together as a whole. If one of them is missing, it's harder to get results. When you live a disciplined life, you may get tired but you'll reach your goals quickly. After all, there's no gain without effort.

Another 200 for me.

I agree with you that proper training, good rest and a healthy food goes hand in hand in helping building a strong muscles. We should also understand that eating more of proteins will help more in building muscle strength faster, and also consistency because I’ve seen a lot of changes just in 2weeks of being consistence in my push up. Again the main goal is to keep push ups until Bitcoin hits £100k, and also a major way of helping us keep fit as a person.

It's nice to see new people in the thread. I hope you stick around in this challenge.
It was another very hot day. There's an oppressive heat outside, made worse by the humidity. Experts keep warning people not to stay out in the sun during midday. After finishing up my work outside, I did my usual 200 push-ups in the evening, 10 sets of 20 reps.

People are beginning to experience the benefits of exercise which one is keeping the body healthy and fit medical expert will always advise to go for exercise, i have been off for some months due to injury but am back now to keep the body more healthier and fit outside push up exercise i still do other exercises this is one of best exercise challenge i have come to know.
I will stick around this challenge to keep fitness.
I did a total of 100 push up yesterday including morning and evening session and did 50 push up this morning in 3 set and 3 reps.

Today's push-up was so good, was experiencing muscle cramps everyday I do push but after today's push-up, I didn't experience any muscle pains, one secret I learnt is consistency, sometimes you will feel like giving up but with determination you can achieve anything good. I was able to do 10 pushups in 5 sets this morning.

Try not to push beyond what you can bear and regularly go for checkups to be sure you're not loosing your shoulders any further.

Been doing physio for 2 years now, I'm actually sick with it -- recovery's rather peaked for months now, but focusing on strength/muscle rehab now that it seems flexibility/mobility has plateaud.

Do not worry about the numbers what truly matters is that your showing up and listening to your body.

10 a day better than 9 a day, right? =)

You are highly welcome to this push-ups thread, and there is something i want you to understand about this push-ups thread, is that we don't discriminate any members that start with a low number of push-ups because push-ups exercise is something will need to grow gradually by gradually in your total number of push-ups daily, and i believe that with time you will surely improve your number of push-ups daily

Welcome. If you have injuries, it may be helpful to your own building yourself up but not overly stressing your injury to figure some kind of a modification so that you can attempt to get to being able to accomplish at least 10 pushups for each set and then maybe try to do 3 sets each day - perhaps spread through the day - if that is possible.

Appreciate the support! From the end of last year I actually did them on the knees, but since strength wasn't part of my rehab regime until recently, I waited until I could do it "properly" before coming in here. I am doing for now 2 sets, in the morning and evening. The rest of the day still doing injury-related exercises and those tax my joints. Happy to be here )
