It's a process. You start with a small number of push-ups and increase it over time. No one suddenly starts doing 100 push-ups. For all the new people here, don't be too impatient. Take your time, do it slowly and do it right. Don't sacrifice your form just to do more reps. Do as many as you can with proper form.

Added another 200 in the first day of August.

You're right sir, Everything starts with a single pushed. It is a gradual process and I having been taken my time to build up my Arm strength. When I first started this challenge ,I was doing below 30 pushups a day and as time goes on I am now doing up to 50 pushes a day. I tried doing more than that but I couldn't so I decided not rush it , to maintain my current 50 pushups for a day until I am strong enough to pass that number.

I am a very young member among you. I cannot do very many push-ups. But from today onwards I will do 20 push-ups every day and will try to reach 100 by doing it consistently. Everyone please pray for me so that I can do 100 push-ups every day like you.
Some people that are doing 100 push-ups in this push-up thread couldn't even do up to 30 push-ups a day when they joined this push-up challenge, but their consistency and dedication towards this push-up challenge paved the way for them, and they were able to do 100 push-ups in this push-up challenge. Our prayers won't help you do 100 push-ups a day if you don't have the strength to achieve it. If you can't do 100 push-ups a day, you have to do the little one you can be able to do, but if you are consistent in doing push-ups, there's a big chance you will achieve 100 push-ups.

You should do as much as you can. You should not do more than you can otherwise it will be the opposite. I also started with a very small number of push-ups at first, now I can complete 100 push-ups every day. But if you also try, you will see that one day you will be able to complete 100 push-ups with your efforts.

Today was a beautiful sunny day in my area where I was able to complete a very nice push up. Today I completed a total of 100 push ups in 5 sets.

Yes sir, i totally agree with you that push-ups is absolutely a process of increasing over time which any newbie or any new member that just come across this thread should never be in a hurry to do 100 push-ups at a time because of the title of this thread is captured 100 Push-Ups Per Day Until Bitcoin Is £100K Challenge, any new member or newbies should not take because of title is captured 100 push-ups daily and such member will force himself to do 100 push-ups at a start, any new member can start with a small number of push-ups and increase it over time and with your consistency in doing push-ups you will surely see the difference over time.

been struggling with the asthma.

on one day I did 100 in four sets.

Since you recently increased the quantity of your push-ups from 30 push-ups to 50 push-ups, you don't need to be in a hurry to increase the quantity of your push-ups. You need to do 50 push-ups for at least one month to build up strength so that when you attempt to increase the quantity of your push-ups, you will be able to achieve it.

A stressful day filled with lots of activities. I literally had time for myself today. Have been busy attending meetings and handling stuffs. Its weekend. It's always like that sometimes. Thank God I was able to hit the floor this morning before leaving the house to face my activities.

It's funny how we pray for every single thing, even what simple practice can help you achieve. Everyone has a first date and I still know vividly that greater percentage of the people here all started off their pushups exercise with less figures believing to improve later. I have checked through this thread from my early days here and I discovered that almost everyone started far below 100 pushups except people like @JJG who even started his pushups a day before the creation of this thread with a whooping sum of 170 pushups in about 3 sets .

So you have to start and try to be consistent. One day you would be surprised on the number of pushups you can achieve in a day. What you need to improve your pushups is Strength that comes with consistency, not prayers.

I believe it's almost whole right here. Push-up is not something you rush, you start somewhere. The major problem with pushups is breaking through the pain that comes in the first 3 weeks. So if anyone is able to go beyond that first 2 to 3 weeks, then he can achieve any level of pushups with time.

As it's the second day of the month, the fitness to go through the month is what we all need.

As you know, at your current rate, if you would like to get to 10k pushups, then you may well need something approaching 1,000 days to get to such level.. maybe you are shooting to get to 12,345 pushups?  which may well take you something in the ballpark of 1,234.5 days to arrive at that level...  Your desire to reach a straight sooner might motivate you to increase your quantity of pushups per day.  Perhaps?

In the first several weeks after I started doing pushups, I worked my way up to 100 pushups per day, and I was quite sore to maintain that and then to continue to add to my number of pushups per day, and surely as I increased my pushups the soreness continued exist and even to sometimes come up in differing areas of the body.  it seems that with the passage through 545 days of pushups, the level of soreness probably got better, even though I still tend to be sore - especially when I am doing the pushups, but yeah maybe not as sore between sets - even though from time to time I might have some area that becomes sore like shoulders or maybe one my hands or my feet.  I think that I would be even more sore if I were to stop doing pushups for a few days and then try to come back to it at a later date. So, for me, there seems to be some desires to continue to do pushups merely for the ability to maintain the ability to continue to do pushups, like a kind of survivor perspective.  Many of us might recognize that we might lose some of our abilities to be able to do certain kinds of activities if we were to take breaks from such activities.

Surely there are guys that will take longer to get to 100 per day, and they just deal with what they want to do.  I think that part of my own motivation came from my having had wanted to find some kind of resistance training that I could do anywhere and on my own schedule.. it has mostly been good for me, even though sometimes it does just seem to be so demanding to have to fit the pushups in every day.. and in recent months, mostly since the end of February, trying to accomplish the fitting in of 3 sets of pushups every day, which tends to add up to more than 100 pushups per day.. mostly.. oh in the last month, I have added in one of my sets to be a split set.. at least for now.. 1 split set, one slow set and one regular set..

been struggling with the asthma.
on one day I did 100 in four sets.

today i did a set of 33 will do more today.
fucking hate asthma it truly sucks.

i will do an informal list then tally it up.🆙

I am thinking that you might be doing too many pushups per set.. .so it is causing you more stress than you need to get to 100 pushups per day.

You might consider doing 5 sets of 20 or alternatively if you want to try to keep it to 3 sets, then do two split sets of 20 and do one regular set of 20 or perhaps more than 20..

you could do the first set as a split set, and then the second set as a regular set and then the third set as a split set... and then you spread them out through the day.. perhaps less stress that way.  Yeah, if you are doing other activities too, then sometimes you fit the pushups around the other activities.. I have been doing that with my swimming.. so usually I will do a pushup set before I swim, and I don't swim every day, but when I do, then I might do the pushup set first (and get it out of the way).. there are certain times that I don't want to do pushups, such as after I eat or even after some other activity, whether that other activity was full of exertion or not... There have been some times that it really gets late and I had not yet finished all of my pushup sets, yet I know that if I don't do them before I go to bed, then I will get punished (by myself) on the next day.  There surely can be ways to attempt to create self-incentives - because it frequently can be difficult to do the pushups and parts are tending to hurt... and sometimes there can be overall body tiredness too, like not good enough sleep.. .which surely is important to get proper sleep.

It's funny how we pray for every single thing, even what simple practice can help you achieve. Everyone has a first date and I still know vividly that greater percentage of the people here all started off their pushups exercise with less figures believing to improve later. I have checked through this thread from my early days here and I discovered that almost everyone started far below 100 pushups except people like @JJG who even started his pushups a day before the creation of this thread with a whooping sum of 170 pushups in about 3 sets .

You are a wee bit off Tonimez.  If you see my actual words, you will see:

Regarding pushups, I started on February 5th..

and so daily I did pushups: 1) 50  2) 70 and 3) 50 so far  = total = 170  

That was not 3 pushup sets that was three days worth of pushups with 3 sets on the first two days and two sets the third day.  Here are my Excel inputs regarding my sets for those first three days

Day 1:  16:25   20      17:07   15         19:20   15   

Day 2:  10:11   25      13:17   25         22:42   20   

Day 3:  10:33   30      17:24   20         

The number of pushups per set are not very large.  I also started a day before this particular thread because pushups were being discussed in the WO thread, and they were being discussed in various other bitcoin-related places, and it may have had been OgNasty who first brought it up in the WO thread.. I am not sure..  

Since you seem to be into researching into historical posts, Tonimez, here is my February 5 post on the topic in the WO thread.

So you have to start and try to be consistent. One day you would be surprised on the number of pushups you can achieve in a day. What you need to improve your pushups is Strength that comes with consistency, not prayers.

I do agree with you that pushups require action rather than just thinking about doing them.

Since I woke up this morning, I've had an occasional pain in my right arm, so it was a bit challenging today. But I still managed to complete 200 push-ups. It didn't restrict my movement too much. Otherwise, I wouldn't have pushed it.

BTC has dropped to $112k. It's been closing in the red for 6 days straight. If tomorrow is red too, it'll mean a whole week of declines. It really needs to bounce back from somewhere soon.

The most important thing is not to overdo it but as long as it's not restrictive and can still be done then it's a good thing and I applaud you for having a little problem but being able to complete 200 push ups.

Right now we are in a condition where the correction is still happening but that does not dampen our hopes for new targets in the future especially since this will be considered a natural correction after a considerable increase in bitcoin.

I'm also still trying to be consistent (even though I rarely make reports) but I always try to continue to be able to train my body because if I let it go and go back to being lazy like before, I think it will make my body worse. I've been trying to maintain my quality of life and participate in this challenge and I've been getting a little better body condition because apart from some changes in my muscles, the results of maintaining my lifestyle (along with this challenge) I also feel that my weight is quite drastically reduced and it makes me more confident.

Oh, I now understand the spreadsheet, I have always thought you did three sets of pushups in the first day even though I also knew you made the post on the 8th of February, 3 days after announcing your start. This is evident on the achievements of consistency in pushups exercise to the point of engaging in over 1000 pushups in one of the days. Starting gradually and aiming high is the best anyone can do and also monitor oneself to avoid over doing it which could ground a person for the next week or more.

Added 200 pushups this morning with stairs climbing and squatting exercise. Sundays feel differently, even the weather also feels like Sunday itself.

I am a very young member among you. I cannot do very many push-ups. But from today onwards I will do 20 push-ups every day and will try to reach 100 by doing it consistently. Everyone please pray for me so that I can do 100 push-ups every day like you.
Some people that are doing 100 push-ups in this push-up thread couldn't even do up to 30 push-ups a day when they joined this push-up challenge, but their consistency and dedication towards this push-up challenge paved the way for them, and they were able to do 100 push-ups in this push-up challenge. Our prayers won't help you do 100 push-ups a day if you don't have the strength to achieve it. If you can't do 100 push-ups a day, you have to do the little one you can be able to do, but if you are consistent in doing push-ups, there's a big chance you will achieve 100 push-ups.
It's funny how we pray for every single thing, even what simple practice can help you achieve. Everyone has a first date and I still know vividly that greater percentage of the people here all started off their pushups exercise with less figures believing to improve later. I have checked through this thread from my early days here and I discovered that almost everyone started far below 100 pushups except people like @JJG who even started his pushups a day before the creation of this thread with a whooping sum of 170 pushups in about 3 sets .
If it were possible that prayer could help us increase the quantity of our push-ups, we could have prayed to God to help everyone in this push-up challenge do 1,000 push-ups every day so that we could build our bodies fast. When I joined this push-up challenge, I was able to do 100 push-ups daily because I was already doing push-ups before the OP started this challenge, but as we progressed in the push-up challenge, I increased my quantity of push-ups to 200 push-ups per day, and at some point, I increased the quantity of my push-ups to 300 push-ups per day to celebrate Bitcoin hitting $100k, but now I am maintaining 200 push-ups per day.

Since I woke up this morning, I've had an occasional pain in my right arm, so it was a bit challenging today. But I still managed to complete 200 push-ups. It didn't restrict my movement too much. Otherwise, I wouldn't have pushed it.

BTC has dropped to $112k. It's been closing in the red for 6 days straight. If tomorrow is red too, it'll mean a whole week of declines. It really needs to bounce back from somewhere soon.

I'm so sorry about the pain you gone through as you woke up in the morning, yet the pain was not a hindrance to resist you from not doing your daily push-ups, but for the passion you have in doing push-ups exercise, you were able to complete your 200 push-ups yesterday, and i believe that immediately you finished doing your push-ups exercise the pain was not their on your arms again because some times pain can be course by the stressed we go through during in the day and also it can course by the way lay while sleeping on bed, those are major pains that usually occur as life goes on, i really wish you a quick recovering sir.

This Sunday is really indeed bright and beautiful that the sun start shining early this morning without rain falling first, I'm glad to see that I'm starting today with sunshine and i was not in a hurry to do my normal routine, i do 20 push-ups in 9 sets and with the fluctuation of Bitcoin within this period will not stop me from pushing or accumulating Bitcoin aggressively because it is the nature of Bitcoin to be fluctuating in the market.

been struggling with the asthma.

today i did a set of 33 will do more today.

fucking hate asthma it truly sucks.

I know doing push-ups will help you to manage your asthma because it will help you to maintain a good healthy weight, which will help you overcome obesity, but I think you should reduce the quantity of your push-ups per day so that you could manage your stress and get better.
