Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

I will repeat, as I had mentioned earlier, that I purposefully targeted my current quantity of total pushups because it is a fun number.
My pushup sets on 8/14,15 & 16 added up to 145 pushups for each of those days.
My pushup sets on 8/17 were 180 pushups, and my pushups today were 156 pushups.
100k,JayJuanGee,561,123456,2025-08-18
I would also like to tell a little story to mention that during my first set of pushups today, I was at a location where there is a glass sliding door that leads out to a pool that is part of the complex, and so the pool is about 15 meters from door (which is also the location that I was planning and preparing to do my first pushup set for today). Right before I started that first pushup set for today, I saw that there were three guys in their late 20s who were standing in a circle near the pool, perhaps 25 meters from my pushup location, and they were kind of hovering in a circle and facing each other and in shorts and no shirts I wasn't sure what they were doing, yet they could see me straight through the glass door since I was pretty close to them.
I decided that I wanted my privacy in order to do my pushups so I started to pull a quasi-transparent curtain in which I could probably see out, but they probably could not see in due to the glare of the curtain. As I was pulling the curtain, they started to do pushups, and it was not normal pushups, there was a combination of explosive kinds of pushups that involved one arm or touching their leg or their other arm or the Mike Tyson pushups and some variation of squats, and so it was quite impressive, even though they looked like normal guys who are in fairly good shape but not like overly muscular, just fit.
I was not sure how many of the various hybrid pushups they did, but they seemed to be in sync with what they were doing, so I resumed thinking about doing my set, and perhaps 1 or 2 minutes later they were doing another set, so I decided to count them, and it was somewhere around 15 or 20, since each time they did a set they waited around 1 to 2 minutes between each set and ultimately did around 6 or 7 sets, which got me to be exhausted by merely watching them, and I considered my own pushups to be quite inferior to the intensity of their pushups, and they merely looked like energetic young guys who were capable of doing variations on pushups (various resistance exercises) that were way beyond my own capacity, even though I probably would have had been able to do some variation of what they were doing in past years.

1) Self-Custody is a right. Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

You were just about to do your own workout when you saw these guys. Their intense, creative routine immediately changed your perspective on your own planned set. It's a great example of how observing others can influence our motivation, for better or worse. It's easy to fall into the trap of comparing your abilities to someone else's. Those guys were doing explosive, one-arm pushups, and it made your "normal" pushups feel inferior. But remember, their journey is different from yours. They might have been training for something specific, or maybe they just have a different fitness background. Your workout is for you, not for them. Seeing their advanced routine could have been motivating, pushing you to try a little harder. But in your case, it seems it was more demotivating, making you feel exhausted just from watching and questioning your own capacity. This feeling is a good reminder to focus on your personal goals and progress, rather than getting caught up in what others are doing. whether you do 10 pushups or 50, and whether they're standard or explosive, what matters is that you're showing up and putting in the effort. Your workout is still valuable and contributing to your own health and strength

Today I had to sell some coins for monthly expenses and as always, Bitcoin dropped right then. By the time I paid my bills and the day ended, all the coins were rising again. A true classic. Still, I try to live with as little cash as possible and only cash out the exact amount I need whenever I need it. The short-term price changes aren't that important anyway. Added 200 for the day. 21k here we go. 100k,EFS,124,21000,2025-08-18

I have been busy busy busy lately but managing to get my reps in. I’m pretty much exhausted all the time between swimming, biking, my other exercises, and trying to keep this challenge going. Feels like the summer is on the downhill slide now though. Once I’m not spending so much time in the sun I’m sure I’ll be less tired.

10[edit]0k,JayJuanGee,561,123456,2025-08-18 I would also like to tell a little story to mention that during my first set of pushups today, I was at a location where there is a glass sliding door that leads out to a pool that is part of the complex, and so the pool is about 15 meters from door (which is also the location that I was planning and preparing to do my first pushup set for today).
Your workout is still valuable and contributing to your own health and strength You are free to interpret however you like, yet from my perspective, you seem to be reading a bit much into what I said about seeing the three guys doing their hybrid pushups. Sure, I described what I saw, and I acknowledged a kind of time perspective also related to their age, as I seemed to mentioned that I might have had been able to do something similar to what they were doing in my younger years, yet right now based on my own health and/or age status, it would nearly be an impossibility.. including some consideration that I have been doing daily pushups for more than 18 months.. and holy shit, it took me a while to get up to my current fitness level.. .. At the same time, surely I was a bit impressed with what I saw.. even though it is not a gym atmosphere.. merely a residential area with a shared pool and sometimes guests who are here in this shared complex.. in which the three guys seemed to be guests that I had not previously seen, including that they had a structured hybrid pushup routine that they were doing pretty much in unison, even though watching them, I could see that one of them seemed to be the strongest of the three and one of them would sometimes not complete the whole set, even though he would be ready to do the next set.. in what was probably something around 6-7 sets that probably took them less than 20 minutes to do the whole thing. even though they looked a bit tired from it at the end of the 6 or 7 sets, they probably are able to function through their day quite well and I would probably be nearly dead from trying to do something even close to that.... even though in my younger and better health years I probably could have been able to pull of some variation of it. maybe not to their level without training for several weeks.. .

I’m back here again after being absent for almost two weeks due to several reasons, mainly personal matters, and in the last week I focused a little on celebrating independence because I was involved in preparations in my area, but today I’m back to my usual routine after two weeks away.
Today, I also started trying out some variations of push-ups, such as pseudo push-ups and diamond push-ups. I plan to try Russian push-ups, but it seems I’m still too far off from doing that now, as my strength would be completely drained in an instant.
100k,Ryu_Ar1, 224,27675,2025-08-18
It's okay if you take a break to sort yourself out, especially personal matters just as you mentioned. I believe one has to be psychologically sound and fit before one can intentionally engage in push ups and other exercises. So that which needs attention should be treated immediately to avoid other issues emanating due to long procrastination. Days for push ups will never finish as long as we live, so we can always come back to the floor once we are settled. Sincerely, it's a good thing you came back after two weeks of been absent. Sincerely, for some, slowly, it would have turned to a recession time and gradually become too weak to continue and before you know it, they become bench members for a month, 2 or even more. Welcome back bro, we are all here and we keep pushing and getting more fitness. Am sure you organised and celebrated your independence well and it was great. Weldon! Doing different variations of push is nice and very much okay. At least one experiences something new and makes one get another level of fitness and knowledge. But just as you said, I easily stay off what I notice my strength can't carry. Just like me yesterday, I tried pushing up 130, but I ended at 125 because I saw weakness before me and couldn't go further. I just had to stop. You did well for yourself by not rushing into the Russian push up as you said. Ensure you are strong enough and fit before embarking. That's the only way we can keep going day in day out. Weldon once again Today I had to sell some coins for monthly expenses and as always, Bitcoin dropped right then. By the time I paid my bills and the day ended, all the coins were rising again. A true classic. Still, I try to live with as little cash as possible and only cash out the exact amount I need whenever I need it. The short-term price changes aren't that important anyway. Added 200 for the day. 21k here we go. 100k,EFS,124,21000,2025-08-18 Yea, the short time changes aren't that important, and I stick with that, because that's the nature, falling and rising. It is always what it is and man must survive. A little portion out to live on isn't a great. It will always pump higher. At the pump, some will go for a bigger cash out, well, only them know what they want and how they love to run their's. But for me, cashing out the exact amount I need at that time and allow others to thrive is the real deal just as you did. Others must grow, while I survive with the little cash out, and investment continues. Smiles. Just 120 push ups. No additionals. I didn't even think of it after I stopped half way yesterday trying to get to 130. I must remain within my strength to avoid breakdown. It's 20×4, and 10×4. 100k,Bigjoe33,84,9190,2025-08-19

Sincerely JayJuanGee, you are really pushing high and it's a great fit. At your age and strength level, you still attain 180 push ups? Kudos. Maybe because you set a target of what to achieve as you have said. Sometimes too, it's 140, 150+ or even higher. The fluctuations in sets and daily number is normal, but the push up numbers is fucking mad for me and am encouraged. Am a very young guy just about 30, and I can't imagine hitting those figures in a day and you still constantly do. Maybe setting targets too might help, and also allowing myself get involved fully while building intentionally for long time too can boost my performance. Am sure you could do alot greater than those numbers while you were younger plus doing those figures now took you sometime before achieving all that. It's all practice, and it improves learning and knowledge. About your story and the guys you saw. I feel pretty good and I wish I was there with you watching those guys. For what they were able to pull off within the time you watched them, till they ended, as you reported, I think there age has a hand of support in their strength as to the speed and accuracy used in there different sets, though the three guys might not have the same strength and accuracy. In everything, Age is always a factor. Older ones can't possibly do what the younger one can do. Even if they do, not with the same time frame, speed and flexibility. Strength fades. And secondly, another factor I feel has helped them is long time and constant exercise too. A newbie can't possibly do that, unless he passes through face of relentless training and discipline to achieve it. For me, their performance is a WOW. I can only dream of it, at least, for now

I'm thinking since i have gathered so many experiences on this push-ups thread i will build up myself in creating out firm merely on push-ups exercise then i will be the push-ups instructor one day because ever since i joined this push-ups thread i seen the benefits which i said to myself that i will love to spread the benefits to others within my society and outside my society, my push-ups report is still based on my normal routine doing 20 push-ups in 10 sets. Sincerely JayJuanGee, you are really pushing high and it's a great fit. At your age and strength level, you still attain 180 push ups? Kudos. My 180 push up day looked like this: Time of day, number of pushups, how many seconds for the set(s) First set split pushups into two subsets: 09:41 100 84 Second set slow: 14:39 25 64 Third set regular: 19:59 55 48 You see that they were spread through the day. On December 8 of last year, I had my most pushups in a day, which was 1,330... so I spent several months working up to that. Maybe because you set a target of what to achieve as you have said. Sometimes too, it's 140, 150+ or even higher.
Until February 21 of this year when I reached 100k pushups I was pushing to do a lot of pushups in a day and my average at that time was 261 per day, yet after that I dropped down to mostly between 120 to 160 pushups per day.. Mostly. Surely I could have had done way better physically in my youth, but I did not do pushups in my younger years. I had other hobbies and other kinds of physical activities. So yeah currently there is quite a bit of intentionality with the pushups, and sometimes when we are younger we might not prioritize some daily exercise as much as we might want to incorporate something like pushups when we are older since resistance training is good for older people, even though surely I still get sore and frequently don't want to do my pushups, but I force myself, and even sometimes setting an alarm on my phone to make me do pushups at the time the alarm goes off. Sometimes there can be some areas in which we are surprised to see such an activity, and surely other times, we might be looking for certain activities, and surely these days I notice if guys are doing pushups... Sometimes there will be areas in a park where people are exercising, and sometimes if we are passing by we could watch.. Other times, if we were passing by in an automobile, we might not have time to stop and watch. Sometimes we are also too busy to be able to watch what other people are doing.

Your workout is still valuable and contributing to your own health and strength You are free to interpret however you like, yet from my perspective, you seem to be reading a bit much into what I said about seeing the three guys doing their hybrid pushups. Whoever has been in this thread for sometime now would not doubt your ability when it comes to pushups and I am shocked to the marrow with the level of meanness and understanding expressed by @LOCKACO. Even though I was not there, but I can say with all indications that none of them have achieved half your consistency and number of pushups. Age happens to everyone, late 20s is quite a pretty peak stage of every human where he can break and mold anything with ease and still, up on that, they still battled with some reps of 15-20 pushups. At this age, if anyone of them had put in half the effort or number of pushups as you have done, it will be evident in their appearance as that age bracket is very responsive to Pushups exercise. At the same time, surely I was a bit impressed with what I saw.. even though it is not a gym atmosphere.. merely a residential area with a shared pool and sometimes guests who are here in this shared complex.. in which the three guys seemed to be guests that I had not previously seen, including that they had a structured hybrid pushup routine that they were doing pretty much in unison, even though watching them, I could see that one of them seemed to be the strongest of the three and one of them would sometimes not complete the whole set, even though he would be ready to do the next set.. in what was probably something around 6-7 sets that probably took them less than 20 minutes to do the whole thing. even though they looked a bit tired from it at the end of the 6 or 7 sets, they probably are able to function through their day quite well and I would probably be nearly dead from trying to do something even close to that.... even though in my younger and better health years I probably could have been able to pull of some variation of it. maybe not to their level without training for several weeks.. .
Yeah sure, it's always impressive seeing a random fellow engage in pushup exercise as it gives that feeling of understanding that fitness is actually universal and everyone needs it. A real pushup undertaker does not need a gym neither does he need a very corporate settings, all he needs is to be ready for his next set of pushups. I once did my pushups on an asphalt road while on transit. The vehicle stopped to check a sound from the back wheels, many alighted to ease off while I quickly went down the floor to get two sets of 20 pushups before heading out. I'm already feeling heavy and lazy this few days that I haven't engaged in my pushups exercise. I hope to get back to the floor soonest.

Reading through all your comments, generally, you have literally been involved in one exercise or sporting activity at one time or the other. People have different interests and flare for certain things at a different stages of life and its normal. According to you, at your younger age, it wasn't push ups, some other exercises. But now, push ups. For me, I have been a fan of weight lifting and push ups but though I don't do weight lifting that much. Maybe when I get older a bit, it might be table tennis and few others, but bodily and daily exercise has become sacrosanct. I just feel that whichever one we do, at any given age, so long as one keeps fit, and exercises the body daily or always as chance will permit you do, it is just okay and perfect. Staying healthy, agile and keeping the body fit with exercise is the goal, and that's what we all intend to achieve. For your continuous insights, and the story shared today, we appreciate. It has motivated me and few others who really cares and wants to take their push up journey to the next level.

Previously I used the wrong strategy in doing push ups, namely only doing 20 times a day, even with continuous rest And now I have a strategy to do 100 push ups a day, I divide it into 5 sets, 20 push ups a day and I do it when I wake up before taking my morning bath and having breakfast, 20 push ups. And during the day during office breaks after lunch, 20 push ups, and 20 push ups after coming home from work and resting, the remaining 20 push ups before going to bed. And sometimes when I can't do 20 push ups I just do half and rest for a few minutes and continue the rest, but for the most part I do the full 20 push ups. And even though I have been doing that style for 15 days, I am now much lighter and also hard in the arms, chest, neck, stomach and thighs. Maybe if you help with the right food and eating healthy food, I think the results will be more than that and this thread motivates me to be able to lose excess weight. and I could do it because when I was young and not married, and at that time I liked exercising, playing ball, push ups and also the gym. Before now I was like a glutton but now I have my body back to shape. I was able to achieve 20 push ups in 5 sets.

100k,EFS,124,21000,2025-08-18 In fact, when we need something and we go to sell some coins to meet our needs, it happens to everyone, it immediately decreases and we see that the price increases again after selling. Even if the price increases after selling, we do not regret it much because we have to accept that we got what was in our destiny. We should use as much cash as we need to meet our needs, it is not right to waste too much. Today I added 70 push up in 5 sets. My Report: 100k,Powerjumboo, 34, 1660 2025-08-19

We don't just sell when it's not important rather we only sell when it's becomes necessary and important whenever we need it . however it's normal when the price drops because price fluctuation is also part of the nature of Bitcoin. Added 100 pushups 100k,Qhunman,26,1693,2025-08-19
