The game between FC Midtjylland and Real Sociedad was not the kind of performance I expected from the Spanish team, although all that matters in football is the 3 points but in terms of play, the Danish team were on top of the encounter. They actually possessed Real Sociedad so we'll that it was like they were playing their fellow Danish team and not a Spanish team. After the third goal, I thought more will be added during the second half but the game ended as it was in the first half.

I don't think so. Before the red card, AZ Alkmaar already leads the match with 2 goals. But surely after the red card, AZ Alkmaar got an advantage. They could score 2 more goals. Yeah, red cards do affect games most of the time but in thsi case AZ Alkmaar utilised the opportunity of red card and used it for their own advantage and netted two goals in the process. Now Galatasary has a mountain to climb when Az Alkmaar visits them next week. On paper AZ Alkmaar has already qualified because they are 3 goals ahead as it stands. Galatasary has to score 3 goals without reply from AZ to at least force extra time and I don't think Galatasary can score that much without AZ replying them.

Fenerbahce can play it safe in the second leg, they only need to focus on maintaining their goal margin advantage. In my opinion, only a miracle can help Anderlecht turn things around. There is no concern about playing away, they just need to maintain the same performance in the second leg to secure a place in the round of 16.

The Porto - Roma match will be quite an interesting match in the UEL in this play-off round and the odds between them are also not much different Porto has odds @2.44 and Roma has odds @2.95 and for the draw itself the odds are @3.45. Porto has lower odds I think because he is playing at home which is certainly more advantageous but this will not be an easy match for both teams so I decided to bet on BTTS and for the other match I am also interested in betting on Fenerbahce I think he will win against Anderlecht.

The teams that have qualified for the Europa League may not look like strong teams, but they all perform well in important matches. The team that was not talked about much in the Europa League last season won the championship and the team that was the favorite to fight for the title was already eliminated from the tournament. This season, Tottenham or Manchester United are the favorites in terms of other teams, but it will mainly depend on the performance of these teams in the European League. Manchester United is in a good position in the European League so far but this team has problems with consistent performance so if this team loses in any important match then all their dreams will end. Instead of winning Manchester United by a big margin in one match or losing by a big margin in the next, they need to at least focus on consistent performances so that they can gradually reach a better stage of the Europa League.

With results of first leg matches, almost all stronger teams have one leg to a next phase. A biggest surprise is from Galatasaray with a shock big defeat with which they nearly ended their journey in Europa League after this first leg match.

A biggest match between Porto and Roma goes very exciting and Porto luckily save one point from Roma but later a red card of Cristante put Roma under big pressure of Porto. Roma successfully exit Dragao stadium with one point that can be a small advantage before a second leg match between two big clubs.

Real Socidead with a minimal win homeaway, have advantage before returning home to host a next match, and they can finish their job too.

I don't watch the Turkish league that often since Jose Mourinho joined there and as coached Fenerbahce. When I watch the mini match, seem like Mourinho still use his old strategy like he was on Inter Milan. I see Tadic is positioned like Wesley Sneijder on Inter Milan a long time ago, and I found it quite effective in launching attacks into the penalty box. I am confident they can maintain this lead. Mourinho will probably implement full defense on the next leg. we can already read how Jose handling the team he's coaching. that's why he often loses, and not so accomplished until today because the opposite really understands how he implements his strategy.

After Kaan Ayhan left the field which made Galatasaray play with only 10 players, the rotation of the game changed and there was lot of empty space until the defense line was in disarray and AZ Alkmaar was able to take advantage of it to add 2 goal, my bet was lost just like that due to Galatasaray failure.

In my opinion, Galatasaray's problem is with the coach. He ( okan buruk ) has experience with the Turkish League, but he has no experience with European competitions. He has never been a coach who has managed a major European team or won a major European competition. Nothing surprising to see AZ Alkmaar beat Galatasaray, I've predicted before.

It's true the lost of Ayhan make the situation worse, but AZ Alkmaar leads before Ayhan got red card, so with or without red card, I'm sure AZ Alkmaar would still win.

I think Galatasaray will not qualify to the next round, 3 goals difference is too big.

The gap owned by both of clubs is very small. Porto leads as favorite with 2.75 compared to the Roma with 2.88. No way to pick one of side to win the game.

We know Roma is in a good state after they continuously won the previous games, however, we can't really underestimated Porto.

I'm sure this is gonna be a tough game for both clubs. Neither of them to take advantage in this game, so i decide to pick BTTS. It offers decent odds to bet. I hope Porto win, but can't really say Roma will play badly in this game.
