If you check twitter, there were discussions about the salary differences in those two teams. AZ Alkmar had about 10-11 million euro salary for the whole team, a guy with just 80k salary made their day hell for Galatasaray, whereas there are few players who make 10 million a year in Galatasaray, and the total salary is like 80-90 million instead.

This is why it's very important to do self reflection by the players, by the staff, by the manager, by the team owners, like all of them has to go back and look at what they have done wrong. No team with 8-9 times the salary should lose this easily, not by this many goals neither. Hell, they didn't even win the second game at all, which should be problem and Galatasaray needs to fix that in the end.

There are clubs that'll be able to do that even though they were losing from the first leg but I think Galatasaray made a mistake by allowing the team to lose that much in the first leg of the playoff. Infact they shouldn't have been playing the playoffs too but should have progress directly as I didn't know what went wrong for them as they started very well when the Europa league started and were topping the table. Galatasaray were one of my favourite teams in the league but now that they're out, I think Manchester United have a chance of lifting the trophy. Next season they should be playing to get into the champions league and not the the Europa, they'll do well there.
