In the Premier League I support United, but there should still be more worthy teams in the final. Bilbao and Lazio, for example, are fighting for the top 4 in their national championships (ticket to the Champions League), while Tottenham and United are fighting to at least leave the second half of the tournament table  I understand that these are different tournaments, but United are too bad this season. And I also think that fresh names in the finals are more interesting.

I am not expecting  anything better from Manchester united. Manchester United is a weak team this season. Even against smaller teams, we have not seen Manchester united play well. Manchester united is in 15th place in the Premier league  table.

We have seen better performance from Manchester united in the last few matches of the Europa League. However, I cannot consider Manchester United as a favorite for the Europa league title. It is not  possible to win the Europa League title with such weak and irregular performance.

Manchester United is going to face Real Sociedad. Madrid  is lucky that Real sociedad's performance is also very irregular this season. So Manchester United has a chance  of winning.

I suspect it will be a tedious encounter. In La Liga, Sociedad have a goal difference of 23-23 in 25 games. It is unlikely that we will see any bright games and perhaps the outcome of the confrontation will be decided in a penalty shootout. United are favourites in this pairing but even the first game could turn everything around, as United have often failed this season.

I honestly had a bit of hope to see Man Utd in the final but after seeing the way they have been playing lately in the Premier League I feel like it is too much, even reaching the quarter finals I am still skeptical, the same goes for Tottenham. Both teams are playing very badly, I don't know what the problem is, but one thing I am sure of from Man Utd's slump is that they don't have a reliable attacking player, while Tottenham under manager Ange their quality has declined.
Another option I would like to see is Bilbao, I think they can reach the final.

They are inconsistent but development happening and things are also giving positive indicators which are good I am having doubt about their chances into final but after watching their draw and coming matches I have strong felt they can go through into last four which could be also big achievement for them.

Now just few days left into round of 16 talking about who is going to win title is too early because from here all teams are good enough and can give good results but no doubt having winner from top four favorites looking good, but this usually give surprise form nowhere. Ajax and Fenerbahçe are also looking good but now it is game of nerve which is never been easy for any team here home advantage give always good results which helps big teams to keep momentum now after these round predictions could be easy who is going to win.

But if we analyze the recent performance of Manchester United well under Amorim and even Ten Hag you will not if they usually do well against clubs that actually like holding the ball very well. This is the reason why you will notice Manchester United having better games against top oppositions and they don’t do well against Lower or mid table clubs. Real sociedad as a Spanish club loves to hodl more of the ball that is where Manchester United will use their counter attacking options but sadly they can have so many players out to injury at the moment

I am looking forward to the Atletico Bilbao vs Roma match. Bilbao is a strong team this season. We saw great performances from Bilbao's players in the first round of the Europa League. And I think this team's target is to win the title. Also, Athletic Club's performance in La Liga is quite stable. I haven't seen this team lose in a long time.

On the other hand, Roma has been able  to play well consistently in the last few matches  . If Roma's players can maintain this consistency, they have a chance to win. However if roma wants to win against Bilbao, Roma's defenders will definitely have to play  well. Because Bilbao's attacking players have performed strongly in the Europa league platform.

Roma hosted the first leg, but i'm not in favor to see them in winning the game. I know they made massive comeback after they always being thrashed before Ranieri entered the game. However, Bilbao is not an easy team to beat.

The odds is also doubting me to pick 'em. That's why a smart bettors have to pick BTTS, though the odds is not that big, but close to the 2.00. I think enough to consider it as a bet to double our money.

It's hard to pick which one better from those clubs. This most likely become a tough games for both of sides.

Since being taken over by Claudio Ranieri in November, AS Roma has slowly developed for the better. We probably wouldn't see AS Roma in the round of 16 if they were still managed by Ivan Juric, or the previous manager who also included club legend De Rossi. Athletic Bilbao is certainly not an easy opponent, but they are not more dominant than AS Roma either, I think they have equal strength. From the odds displayed, and may change again, AS Roma is slightly more favored, is natural since in the first leg they will act as the home.

I quite understand the point you're trying to make but sometimes, the performance of clubs in their domestic leagues doesn't have much impact in that of their European campaign. We've seen clubs like Sevilla win the the UEFA Europa League competition in seasons they were having a poor campaign in the Spanish La Liga. The Roma vs Athletic Bilbao round of 16 tie I think is one that we can't be too sure in predicting. Personally, I think the Italian Serie A side will get the better of their Spanish counterparts in that tie.

I think the drawing is fair, each group have many top teams. Real Sociedad isn't really a strong team, they're in 11th position and Lyon in 6th rank. The problem is Athletic Bilbao because they're better in this season.

The left side they have Frankfurt and AZ Alkmaar as the black horse in Europa League.

For me, the Europa League draws seem more interesting than even the Champions League draws and it will be really exciting to see how these games come turn out.  Alkmaar are in a better position to cruise past Tottenham in this match same as Real Betis over Manchester United and Roma over Athletic club.

We have seen great performances from AZ ALkmaar players against Galatasaray. This team is quite strong. And they are playing quite well in the Europa League platform. On the other hand, Tottenham's performance has been quite erratic this season.

We have seen Tottenham's performance in the Premier League matches. The overall condition of the team is quite weak. Especially the performance of Tottenham's defenders is not good at all. On the other hand, we have seen Alkmaar win against Galatasaray with a big margin of 4-1. So I don't think Tottenham will win the first leg match.

When two wonder teams meet, you’ll know surely that the match will be a thrilling one full of many goals from both sides. The first leg of the match will be played in Rome’s home and I know that will be full with a lot of expectations from both sides as they stand to represent their respective leagues and will fight to see other end of the match and to qualify for the next round of the competition. Atletico Bilbao is not a small club that Roma can easily win and make it to the quarterfinals and so will Atletico Bilbao won’t allow themselves to be tempted with Roma’s dominance and history in the European competition. Roma had played very well against Porto and had qualified. Perhaps they could eliminate Athletic Bilbao in a similar way. Athletic Bilbao is a strong team but they had conceded four goals in the Beşiktaş match. Roma should perhaps work on that match and see their shortcomings well. It is not a miracle that the Italian team has qualified for the next round. Also, the fact that they will face the winner of the match between Fenerbahçe and Rangers in the next round increases their chances of making it to the semi-finals. You are right, Osimhen's absence in the first leg was the main reason why Galatasaray didn't perform well in the first leg, and AZ Alkamaar used their chances in the first leg with their fans at home to get all the necessary goals they needed, and they were able to have a goal of two, which is why they are confident in this second leg.

I don't think Victor Osimhen or the Galatasaray teams did their best yesterday, they were already at a disadvantage so why did they allow Az Alkamaar to score or even take the lead as they already lost the first leg. Now that they're out of the Europa cup, how are they going to be able to retain Victor Osimhen at the club as he'll be looking for means to leave now as he isn't playing European football. Assuming they were able to win the league trophy and the Europa cup, maybe victor Osimhen would had wanted to stay with the club and continue to play since he would had been appreciated for how he helped the club get the trophy but all that are now lost as they're eliminated.

Certainly they were not at their best in both legs, I expected much better from them but their consistency level is very low which is why they were knocked out of the competition. The interesting thing about this game is that Roma is very similar to Athletic Bilbao. Both teams put a lot of emphasis on their defense and both teams can play very patiently. However, I think that Bilbao is the stronger team here. Maybe not by much, but I think it is around 60:40 for Bilbao and they have the advantage that they first play away from home, which I think can make an important difference as Bilbao is a strong home team. But Roma has a good trend and frankly, the Europa League is the only chance for Roma to win something this season as they got kicked out of Coppa Italia by AC Milan. I think it is the most interesting match in the Europa League.

Sociedad against Manchester United is interesting, but not I think not as much as both teams are average at best this season. No need to talk about Manchester United and Sociedad is being expectations too.

i am not too big of a fan of those other games, maybe Ajax against Frankfurt could be interesting. But there aren't too many impressive names. Tottenham is miles away from their best form, but they have won their last three Premier League games. Maybe they are finding their form in the right moment this season.

What Sevilla experienced in the Europa League this season could happen to one of the other teams in the Europa League this season because it would be quite an interesting surprise to see even if you call it pedigree. But this season it could happen to another team in a similar fashion so most people would be surprised to see a team that was only average in the domestic league doing so much in the Europa League this season.

It is possible that this season there will be something surprising in the European league. As was the case in the previous season, Atalanta, which did not have a good performance in its domestic league, was able to become champion in the European league. Likewise with Leverkusen, a team that initially could be said to be underestimated was able to enter the final round even though in the end Atalanta. So in the European league, every season there are always unexpected surprises. Maybe this season there will be more teams that are not so superior but are able to surprise us all. Although if we look at the teams currently qualifying for the round of 16, it could be said that they will be dominated by the big teams. However, it is also possible that there are teams that are superior but suffer defeat in the round of 16 and fail to advance to the round of 8. But for now, I personally am still optimistic about the big teams who make it to the round of 16. Because if you look at these big teams, I think they have a much better performance than the opponents they will face now.

Roma has been showing significant progress under Ranieri in Serie A and Europa league Roma performance is very consistent so i think this showed Roma is back in the right track and today Roma did a good job because they have successfully to overcome Monza with huge scores 4-0 and Ranieri has been confirmed Roma in the positive vibes he says all of Roma players in the good fitness and the locker room also very comfortable

I think Roma is unlucky in this competition it because since playoff stages Roma always meet strong teams after Porto their upcoming opponent is Bilbao as we all know Bilbao finally have return to Europa league after finish at 5th place of last season and their performance also very impressive because on group phase Bilbao final position is runner up under Lazio

According to the seeded list i have seen Bilbao as one of the favourite teams who potentially will gets the trophy but i think the current Roma is different because they are very solid now and hard to beated and this match is difficult to predicted but i still put Roma as my favourite because they have more experience than Bilbao to playing in Europa league

In view of the appointments of Rome who have all been positive I would say that they can now aim for the victory and the passage of the turn the shape of Ranieri's Sqaudra, it can truly give excellent hopes to pass the turn against Bilbao Roma is not among the favorites to Success of the tournament, in fact just behind Lazio there would be Atletico Bilbao.
