You speak the truth. I watched the game till the end and i noticed how the game wasnt fairly managed by the referee. He has a soft spot in giving penalty and it all went down to the favor of Manchester United. It seems he gave the first penalty kick to Real Sociedad to make it look unbiased before he start giving it back to Manchester United.

Honestly the game was like a script to me which made me angry and i have to off my TV. Every single time you see the Manchester United players wants to fall in the opponents penalty box. It was intentional that they were doing so. What a boring match to watch.

Athletic Bilbao really made it through! 2.38 odds were given to them to qualify as a reminder. I hope you didn't miss the great opportunity.    It was a really easy work for them but it was all due to Hummels' meaningless red card. You can't take such a big risk there.

If a club deserves penalties, they should have it regardless of the number. If Manchester United deserved those penalties, the referee doesn't have any right to deprive them of them. I think this sport called football is gradually turning into a politics where power and influence determines the outcome. Sincerely speaking, Real sociedad were not as good as usual but Manchester united too hasn't been better than them in anyway. The Referee did not even hide his favouritism by giving two penalties to Manchester United that were questionable and also giving a controversial red card that kill the spirit of the game.

That being said, Real sociedad were very lazy yesterday and performed far below expectation but at least the refree should have allowed a fair play and not ruining the game the more. Real sociedad performance has been declining from last season but I hope they turn things around for good.

If we immediately replace all the players at Manchester United next season, I think it looks a bit more brutal because we have to get rid of all the players who are currently there. And if asked personally, I actually quite agree that Manchester United can do that next season, but the main experiment that Manchester United must initiate is to replace the captain in the team even though Bruno Fernandes has managed to score a hattrick yesterday when Manchester United faced Real Sociedad in the second leg of the Europa League.

You are right, but at first I saw that Manchester United had chance to win and qualify from the last 16, the match was fierce in my opinion, there were quite lot of players commit an offense who even out of total of 5 goal overall 3 of them were the result of penalty kicks.
On the other hand, Real Sociedad also got 1 red card received by Jon Aramburu player with defender position and made Real Sociedad game weak in defense, I very happy with the 4 - 1 winning achieved by Manchester United today and they really proved that there is determination in an effort to win the championship title.

Fenerbahçe have done their best, they have executed a brilliant strategy to equalize Agg and bring this match to extra time only they were unlucky in the penalty shootout, but what Fenerbahçe have done is worthy of appreciation, they only made mistakes in the first leg when playing at home.

Atletic Bilbao beat Roma like a small team after a Roma player was sent off, Bilbao came into the game with full confidence that they had to win the game by all means and they made it happen, I didn’t expect Bilbao to win the match because Roma is having a good season, no one will say he knows that Bilbao is going to win the match because Roma performance in the first leg of the match shows that they can defeat Bilbao but as football is an unpredictable thing no one knows what will happen but Bilbao take their chance and win the game yesterday.

I understand he's currently the best player in Manchester United, he contribute a lot and he has always perform in every season. But, he's really selfish, he make the strikers looks bad because when he get the ball and close with penalty box, he will try to shot instead of pass it to the strikers.

He makes all his teammates feel lower than him, Manchester United need a captain with team work oriented, not one man show.
