I'm sure the tariff if kept up, will make jobless people increase in china, can't deny US is china's biggest customer, so many companies also manufactures their thing in China now US want to take its manufacturing prowess back.

But china has already predicted this outcome and decided to expand to other continents like south asia, southeast asia, and africa, it's hard to predict which one gonna win in this economic war. but I can easily imagine there'd be two giants controlling the world economy.

Frankly though, US seems to really want to move the manufacturing temporarily to vietnam with how lenient trump is toward vietnam, making a deal to have 0% tariff between both party.

I heard a interview about some Chinese analyst and they are not afraid to go with that tariff war that Trump wanted. And he says that along the line or that person that interview him thinks that Vance says that they are still the peasants that the US is thinking.

But it's very different now, China is too big and they could be the biggest economy in the world and that Trump's tariff could be a big mistakes that's why he suddenly pause it for 90 days and really see if the tariff is well taken, and obviously it's not. And with that, the war could really drag on for years.

China is competing with USA on economic front because China has kept it's focus on economic development while USA has spent lots of money fighting wars with other countries. China was of no match to USA economy 30 to 40 years back but now both are at same level and predictions are that China will surpass USA economy in coming years. As the former US President Carter said to Trump in 2019 that we have wasted 3 Trillions usd on wars while China has not spent a single penny on war and that's why are ahead of us.

It's not that China's military is much stronger than the US. Rather, the Chinese military outnumbers the US military. What China needs is better tech for its weapons. With how fast China is advancing in the fields of AI, semiconductors, and EVs, overcoming the US both militarily and economically will be a "piece of cake". It's why Trump decided to go on a large scale trade war against China. But it may be already too late.

Perhaps, tariffs will backfire, resulting in the demise of the American economy. Meanwhile China will continue to get bigger and stronger with the help of its allies. The "Asian Giant" will continue to do business with the rest of the world, while the US will remain isolated from it (America First). We can't predict what will happen in the future, anyways. I believe it will happen sooner or later - China will take the lead. They are growing so fast and have developed so many innovations - they are truly one of the most dangerous countries for the US in economic warfare. The negative impact of this economic warfare is basically felt by us - but it is really important because the dominance of the US is starting to feel like it needs to be broken by various countries. I don't know when that time will come - but if we look at the reaction of the US government recently, then China is really the most dangerous opponent.

it is not that China would win an actual war it is that the world would basically be destroyed via the weapons used.

If I said that China will become the largest economy in the world, I am into assumption on that because I have no fat or I have no backup towards my view on that, there is other countries who is working tirelessly in order to boost their economy so we don't know how many countries who is making good efforts to be largest economy in the world in secret but we are seeing China today based on their performance as one who can be such.. Plain demographics it will be India who takes over in the future.   I think the real determination will become technology development not people exactly but there is plenty of clever people in India so it might even be there for both reasons.

Although I wish that would happen, but if we are realistic, the US will not be isolated from the world and lose its position in the near future. Even if China becomes stronger and BRICS succeeds in creating a new world, the United States and its allies will still be parallel forces to create competition with China.

Furthermore, don't expect China to dominate this world because for sure when they replace the US, they will become as bad as the US. Instead, expect China and Russia to create a multipolar world where power is shared equally rather than concentrated in one country.
