Could you believe that till now, I still believe the two are just playing politics on the people, the fight is not real.

If you noticed, from the beginning of Trump's presidency, Musk's business has been severely affected. I guess what we are seeing now is a bid to strengthen it back, by changing the narrative. This could get messy for sure, to get him back on track locally and globally.

Even the American Party created by Elon Musk is another charade, he himself knows that it is futile, even before it started.

I disagree, they are both people who want to be seen as the "top dog", and whenever they are not, it becomes a problem. For a while Trump was the one, and then Elon supported him and got all the lights on him, in fact during the campaign period and then for the early days of the presidency, he was seen with Trump a lot more, hell even left his kid with him lol.

So trump saw that as a problem, Elon taking his light, and he basically caused some issues, and basically left him and they got an ugly divorce, and right now we are just facing the settlement to see who gets to keep what. Whatever Elon does, a third party will not do well at all, never has, never will, they need 2 more parties if possible, but not one more. So this fight will not lead to anything anyways, just PR for both.

Musk knows he's got unlimited money to fund a new America party so he's going to try changing how American's vote.

His goal is now changing and he wants to defeat Trump and he wants to succeed in politics himself. This is certain because they do not have the connection that would allow him to go into it. Now let's see if he can succeed in it with his party. But we know that Trump is also not short of money, but let's see if Musk can make some changes in the voting this time or will he waste his money.

Although he announced the formation of the "American Party" on July 5 after Trump's OBBB was passed by Congress. But so far, there has been no official news or official confirmation from Elon that the "American Party" has been born. In other words, this is still just Elon's idea, it has not been officially implemented or legally registered.

Forming a new party will not be easy, and money alone is not enough, and I believe Elon understands that better than anyone. So, I don't think we're going to have a new party. And if Elon wants to get involved in politics, he has plenty of ways to do it.

Forming a new party isn't enough, but also, people should realize Elon isn't "that" rich, not that kind at least. People like Jeff Bezos, or Elon Musk are not rich in the sense that they can throw in cash at things this easily, billions. Because they are using line of credit like any other person, and will need to pay, which means only time they get paid, is when all of shareholders gets paid.

Like when Elon paid a ton of taxes that one year, he claimed he paid billions, but the reality was that he didn't had to prior years. These guys have stocks, and that means they do not have cash, they get line of credit, from banks, and banks cover that, in exchange of getting paid when they get paid, and make a good profit. So, Elon can't just throw in like 50 billion at this. Hell, he bought twitter with loans from 5 different NATIONS.

Elon is adept at creating and implementing spectacular successes, from Twitter to Tesla to rocket factories, and his current ambitious project, American Democracy. He entered politics and challenged more than a century and a half of American tradition.

Elon's goal with the American Party is not the presidency, but rather parliamentary seats as decision-makers, with the goal of becoming the king of policymaking (let's see the 2026 midterm elections). Elon's decision was based on the foolish reality of signing the Big Beautiful Bill, which, according to Elon, was a suicidal act that led the American people into slavery to debt. Elon finally understood that there are no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests; the Democratic and Republican parties are like two sides of the same coin. So, Elon decided to create a party where he could control the system according to his own ego.

It remains to be seen whether his ego is truly for the good or for show. From the conflict between Trump and Elon, we can learn from the proverb: don't mess with people who have money and people who are powerful.

Since Elon Musk has announced that he will run in the next American election it is up to him. it will depend on the American people whether he wins the election or not. I don't think the policies he adopted after taking office under the Trump administration have been well received by the public, although I don't know the state of mind of Americans. Moreover, the method he adopted to lay off workers to reduce costs will not be well received by the general public. Since he owns a lot of money, he can participate in the election if he wants and I think he will try to do so at least once.

Musk helped Trump be president now their friendship's over so Musk's going to fund a new party because he's going to get benefits. If Musk's helped the next president get elected he'll be asking for govt contracts for his companies. If his new party reps become elected they'll change America's politics.

5m is daily interest for Elon, that could just be a personal thing.  Trump will end his term and the natural political cycle is the next campaign etc.   It makes sense for Elon to stay friends with that upcoming power and 5m is cheap price for him to pay, I think he just knows those people tbh.

The best way to simplify and break down what happened here is to take the most obvious dynamic which is the gigantic ego of two differently cast men.  Musk can never be president, he is naturally sided with business and capitalism powering his ego and Trump has already gained as much as he ever needed money wise so now its politics and legacy as surely this is his last term imo.

Two egos colliding each with their own gravity is like two planets and it creates a blackhole, neither is winning that argument to their benefit

The 3rd party dynamic you have to compare to Perot and what happened back then is probably feared by both parties as diverting votes unbalancing some close races etc.   Elon would have to be a purist to walk that road, or at least finished with his main business outside of politics.

It is true that Elon Musk helped Donald Trump become president during the election. Elon Musk and Trump basically had a debate about big beautiful bill, these issues. Elon Musk has already decided to form a new party, Elon Musk will form a new political party which will be called America party. It is true that if a new strong party is elected, then it is expected that American politics can change. The reality is that it is not possible to say exactly when what will happen in the field of politics is very difficult.
