Elon will not be able to survive for long in opposition to Trump. All his businesses can turn negative in an instant.

He oppose trump because his business is turning negative once government contract being terminated.
It's billion dollars worth contract about to be terminated.

It will definitely hit spaceX hard, since it relies heavily on federal funding.

Well that's how it goes and it seems that Trump don't care much about friends business since he just care about what maybe beneficial to his people.

To bad for Elon Musk for having this issue since for sure that there would be lots of $ revenue loss due to recent law trying to push by Trump also for that termination of contracts.

But let's just see how this feud will end up on both of them since if this will last long and Trump will do crazy action for sure that Musk would not really survive.

I don't think that the Trump vs. Musk conflict has a lot to do with Economics. Sure, it will cause some short-term panic in the financial markets(especially among the Tesla shareholders), but I couldn't care less about the failed relationship of Trump and Musk.
Musk must explain why Trump's bill is a "disgusting abomination" and why he doesn't agree with the tax rate cuts and government spending cuts. I'm not familiar with the bill in detail and my assumption is that the US budget deficit will keep growing exponentially. DOGE wasn't effective at all and most of the things they've done will be blocked by the US judicial system.

If I were to evaluate this situation in terms of economy and markets; Trump and Elon Musk have the power to negatively affect economies and what they say will cause the market to go into a negative state in the short term. I don't think the conflict between these two will create a negative situation in economies and markets in the long term. They know that the words they say will create a positive or negative result in the market and they act accordingly. The important thing is that what they say does not create major negative results in the market or the economy. There have been many conflicts like this in politics and it is extremely important for the parties to defend the things they are accused of and to tell the truth in these conflicts.

Markets can be very fragile at times and strong names can benefit from this fragility of the market. It is not a good situation for markets to be this fragile and open to manipulation, but markets have been like this for a long time.

Honestly, I lost a lot of respect I had for Elon. I don't care who is right and wrong here and I am no Trump fan, but Elon was all praises for him and now suddenly Trump is the most disgusting person to exist. That doesn't make sense to me and it also shows that no true influencers exist and why we must use your brain before taking any sides. Elon's kids were pictured playing with Trump. How do you let your kids play with what you now call a paedophile? It's insane.

There is a famous saying I learned when MrBeast got exposed and it holds true again. "You either die as a hero or live long enough to become a villain". Because end of the day we are all driven by money and greed and get exposed at some point.

Most of us don't really care who wins and who loses. The market didn't flinch by much which is a good sign. I was worried when this drama got public that the cryptocurrencies will suffer and they did to be honest, but not by much. This is a classic businessman vs political leader conflict and I am sure it will be resolved soon, if not already behind the scenes because they both have massive following and neither of them earn anything from this.

Musk helped Trump win the elections, no doubt. I'd assume they would find a solution behind close doors and soon we will see a video of them shaking hands with each other. That's how rich people work anyway .

Anyone who followed the recent US elections could see that Elon played a key role in helping Trump win the election. I think without Elon, not only would Trump not have won Harris, but the Republicans would not have won the majority of seats and control of Congress.

It seems like things have been resolved. Elon has deleted all comments criticizing Trump , and he even shared a statement from Trump regarding the ongoing protests in LA.

Elon never said he dislike the tax rate cut as long as it won't make the deficit for US. The fact is that that tax rate cut will cause the deficit to the US. That's main point here. He worked so hard in Doge to ensure US's economic will able to be rebalanced by cutting the spending through lying off so many of its staff (a failure idea).

Things worsen when trump played him to cut the US spending by with the main purpose to give a massive tax rate cut for the wealthy people in US.

To assume Elon hated the tax rate cut is totally wrong.

I'm only grabbing my popcorn while watching these two narcisissts doing shitshow in the social media. It seems to me this drama will be going even longer than i thought, and only hope it gives negative sentiment to the market temporary, so i can jump in.

The conflict between the two most influential people in America will provide many lessons, have a lot of impact on the market, and make everyone understand how politics works. I was actually surprised when I first found out, and assumed it was just a scenario.

That's not entirely true. In a sovereign country like the United States, power is separated, and the president can also be sued and impeached even while in office. The President will not easily accuse or oppress someone.

I do not deny Trump's power, but he is not the most powerful person and there is no one called the most powerful person in the United States. The system of power in the United States is designed to ensure that no one agency or individual has absolute power and is known as the separation of powers.
That is why the president can also be sued or impeached if he abuses his power or does something wrong with the US constitution.

Remember during the campaign: Gates or Taylor Swift publicly criticized Trump but did you see what happened to them? Elon understands that better than anyone, and that's why he's not afraid to publicly debate Trump.
