It's easily said than done. If you're a responsible gambler and gamble for fun, why will you deprive yourself from gambling whenever you feel like. Doesn't make any difference at all for gamblers, it's just 21 days, for sure if they do this and stake their crypto, maybe tomorrow they are thinking about their decision. So it means that they will have to do anything in their power to gamble again. They can make a loan to someone and says that they can pay it back as their crypto is just lock for staking and for sure they could get that loan easy.

You seem to be oblivious of the fact that staking is done in CEX that have more risk than gambling. Seems like a smart approach but it's not really going to solve the problem of gambling. After the 21 days is complete the gambler can still continue, some might even take a loan and continue gambling till that staking period is over. You can be in control of yourself with out necessarily doing all these and you can follow these steps  and still end up gambling irresponsibly ...it's all a matter of discipline

It is about reducing liquidity and access to fund when one feels the temptation to chase losses. It is a method I personally recommend to people who may have problems to keep themselves safe from addiction and urges to continue gambling, then they had already depleted all their gambling budget.

I'm not sure what could be the effect to other, but after 21-day lock I'm sure many addicted players will definitely hungry on playing again. It might be good for short term solution but I think practicing self control like literally self-control is the best way overcome this addiction. I've know a colleague of mine who lets him hold of his money for a month so he could avoid spending it in gambling but after he takes it back, he just goes back the way it is... so I think this could work for short term but resolving your self-control problem, needs other ways.

Discipline is very important in life. Someone can onlygave discipline not buy running away from the problem but to look for way to tackle the problem. It feels like such a high risk to put my assets into a gambling platform casino just to stake them. Why would I even do that in a gambling site, when I can simply stake my assets directly

I don't think gamblers will do that because they use gambling to have fun. Those tips can work only if that person knows how to deal with gambling. But not many use this way as they want to playing gambling and not stake their coins. The important key here is you need to keep your mind busy thinking about other things so you will not think about gambling. By staking your coins, you don't have to playing gambling but wait for the result to take. But if you are a gambler, you will deposit more money into your account and start gambling. There are several ways to luck funds for specific reasons but it actually gets to a point whereby the person who lucked the money also unlocked it. So I am just wondering if yours can lock the money but not unlock it till the 21 dags is complete. However those who locked that money, immediately the money is unlocked they gamble more than they were gambling before.
