It feels good to be back after so many life draining hardship of life, I have been battling some life difficulty, my mother sicked for a whole year and as the first born of my family I have to take care of my siblings too, it was too much for me, the little BTC I managed to safe in 2022 have all been used to settle bills and buy drugs for my mom.
If you are from Africa and you happen to be first born of a family where there is nothing like richy rich there is a problem, I thought I could escape this mess by starting to invest but I lost everything to responsibilities.
What have I missed? Where should I start from now? Are you the first born of your family? How is the economy treating you and your family?
Living in a different country, especially on a different continent, will give you a different path in life.
I'm fortunate enough, at least, that Indonesia has health insurance for the public. It's true that it involves a difficult process, but at least many hospitals, even private ones, collaborate with government programs to guarantee public health services as long as they have an ID card.
In my country, many people may also experience the same situation, such as having to support a family as a form of responsibility, especially if it's the eldest child or a daughter. That's why I've seen daughters take on more responsibility for the family, even though they're already eaning a salary and still doing housework.
In my opinion, you're still better off because you still have assets you can sell during difficult times.
You can still reinvest. Bitcoin is indeed more expensive than in 2020, but the price is still predicted to be higher next year. However, don't force yourself. It's better to have savings first for an emergency fund than to buy Bitcoin immediately and then have to sell it at a loss due to an emergency.
