Unfortunately, the success of the NEM platform has little bearing on the price/value of XEM, hence the cheap price. XEM does not have much intrinsic value itself, the platform is mainly designed for altruistic purposes, hence this project is not very interesting for investors...

I am no pessimist but what brings you to the assumption that the price will never drop below 20 sats?
NEM has very few stakeholders compared to the top 10 coins. If a few of them decide to sell, the price will drop a lot.
