I think it's safe to assume that every single person on here and working in the crypto space has been convicted of theft, money laundering and child porn. I know I have.
one of those? or all of them? All of them and then some. Who hasn't?

Why mijin's Asayama Takao has an account in offshore? https://offshoreleaks.icij.org/nodes/298138The general public doesn't usually have it. Whats the big deal of holding money in an off shore account? How is this any different than holding XEM, NXT, Bitcoin, etc anyway?

As Vitalik would say " Meh, I am not going to apologize for sound financial planning" It will have different meanings. He might collect all of NEM future in this account. He isn't an individual investor of NEM. He makes a catapult engine. He may abuse it. All time when we investors and a developer spent it will be lost then. Why do you say a joke? You do not think seriously. This is a big problem of the community. His presence itself is a big risk. You talk like he has the most NEM coins like Satoshi does for Bitcoin. He doesn't have that much. Maybe even got none. And if he did buy some NEM he can sell it whenever he wants just like you.

All you need is your wallet file (.wlt in ~/nem/ncc) and your passphrase. I save it within Keepass2 which itself gets backuped on several devices.

The report however uses word "node" in an ugly (for crypto currencies interested person) fashion... Take a look at this paragraph (others about PoS, PBFT are written in the same way, so at least it's consistent) PoI refers to a method to cluster(39) nodes through transaction graph analysis(40) using transaction amounts and balances of individual nodes as indicators, calculate the significance of each node, and assign priority in hash calculations (assign easier hash calculations) to more significant nodes. Clustering is supposed to make it possible to detect nodes that are likely to commit unlawful transactions. PoI is adopted in NEM.
Now translation for normal people: PoI refers to a method to cluster(39) accounts through transaction graph analysis(40) using transaction amounts and balances of individual accounts as indicators, calculate the significance of each account, and assign priority in hash calculations (assign easier hash calculations) to more significant acconuts. Clustering is supposed to make it possible to detect accounts that are likely to commit unlawful transactions. PoI is adopted in NEM.

I am sure it was already explained somewhere on the thread but I could not find it. What are Supernodes? I know what normal nodes are where the software of NEM is running but what is the difference to Supernodes and what are the advantages / drawbacks compared to "normal" nodes? Supernodes in a few hours

Supernodes are just super nodes. Seriously though, they need to pass various tests to qualify. more info here https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-supernode-rewards-program/1735
