Though I'm ready to stop development if most of people think so. It's not a problem for me at all. Make a vote somewhere to see results.

Claymore, I believe I'm the one that sparkled idea of making DUAL miner (ETH+SIA), therefore I deserve at least DUAL vote:
And,... I FEEL NEED FOR SPEED!  Cool
Speed and higher achievements are fun, power bills and money are not. So, GO FOR IT!  Wink

Feel agree with you Sir  Wink....NEED FOR SPEED..... Grin

I've made some notes on hashrate and watt.

R390 eats 200W with 270 sols
R7970 eats 165W with 184 sols
R7950 eats 110W with 170 sols

Every card is undervolted.

Most efficient is 7950 1.54H/W.

R7950 eats 110W with 170 sols  <-- That is more efficient than the 400 series...

Yep Smiley
And costs half of them.

Thanks Claymore for keeping us in the game, anyone complaining about speed increases is not using windows or AMD cards,we appreciate your efforts and that Troll has no clue how mining works and with improvements for NV and Linux we need speed to keep our earnings! Speed speed speed😄

how many solve rx 460 does per second ?

I'm mining zcash with rx 460 4gb.. 82 H/s

That is quite good for th eRX 460. These cards have 128 bit memory bus. So the speed should be around half of 470.

Maybe that is consumed by the card, not the from wall figure or the  from the wall for the whole system.

I'm beginning to believe my motherboard is not capable of handling more than 2 cards ugh! Msi z170a gaming pro carbon either on boot (windows 8 or 10) doesn't recognize cards, afterburner doesn't show temps and card crashes or opencl hangs on miner
I got a Z170 board not knowing issues.  It will see and mine with 4 GPUs no problem (470/480), though if you try 5, it will lock up at bios, even though board has 7 slots. I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128838 Then I just decided to get H81 BTC pro boards (harder to find).

This MSI Z97 works just as good as an H81 BTC - cheaper in most cases - plus it has 7 pcie slots - I have 2 rigs with this board and 7 RX480's each. Works great.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K8KPXUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

anel and cooling (in summer, Georgia), but I can recommend to friends.

For that Motherboard, do you need to short the A1B17 manually or it is automatic like the ASrock boards?
[/quote]

You do not need to short anything. Just make sure your PSU and O/S can handle 7 cards - I'm using Ubuntu 16.4.1/Win 10 dual boot and a 1600W T2 PSU

What may be max. for R-380?
v8.0 - R370-110H/s, R380-only 140H/s, R390-300H/s

my sapphire nitro  r9 380itx 2gb (samsung) gets 150-153 h/s at -i 4 and 1100/1500. stock bios.

looks like you can tweak a bit.

I'm measuring at the wall, but seems my meter might be fucked up.
Will check with different.

I can't believe it there are those who don't like the improvement. Do you think if claymore stop improving the software development the other devs (including devs who work for private farms, cloudmining services etc) will also stop their development?? Come on guys wake up!

It's those private farms that are coming here and pissing in claymore's cereal.  They are feeling the burn. Hell GM prolly getting sued about now.  All these people thought they could scam us by delivering a sub par miner all the while knowing they were at min 5x better speed.  It's a ponzi operators dream.  Now that their dreams are imploding they are trying their damdest to piss off claymore so the next scam coin released they can try to pull one over on us again.  Reminds me of the story of the boy who cried wolf. Same goes with all the hype of these altcoins.

I see some posts that V8 reached hardware limits and there is no way to improve speed anymore. It's not true.
I'm working on new version with another good speedup, though it takes more time and efforts.
looking forward to next one master you deserve all the fees and donations.

Be patinent.. It's a win-win business. Claymore made a great work and we need to be very thankful for him. Just wait for the next upgrade but don't think that day by day will come a new version with +30% hashrate increase Smiley And we will reach the limits of all cards soon (I hope not so soon Smiley)

i think rx 480 more efficient around 50watt on gpuz hashing 180h/s , 100 watt from the wall
r9 nano 235 hs , 80 watt from wall (880mv , 800 core, 350 memory)

best buck is TAHITI
best buck for future is RX
the most efficient is NANO
sory guys TRUE KING IS NANO

on ETH tahiti have same watt with RX in heavy undervolted
