@Claymore

Would you consider solo support ?    It worked well with eth with the allcoins option.  if you would please add option before stopping further development that would be awesome!!!!  Thanks for considering.

Best regards

This is weird... one of my 290's is kicking ass today and I don't know why..

Yeah, I've noticed something like that, one of my 480's was getting 40H/s faster then the other, then the next day they where both at 200, and now one is at 180 and the other is at 170.

Perhaps your internet? Or connection to the pool?

Internet what??  My Internet 1gb/s download bad???

Download doesn't really matter, mining uses no bandwidth basically. How is your ping?

for better reading!

 Wink

I was actually thinking of sorting it with GPU.
Oldest to Newest.

BTW. it was me who splitted the column "Card Name" and added the 2 columns "Brand" and "GPU" instead. Cheesy

Definitely ETC + Sia better than Zec currently  Sad

is SIA worth mining anymore? The electricity cost due to each card pulling 15W more is almost equal to the price of SIA
Depends on your cards, cost of power (varies wildly), and if you can use the heat (in winter), vs cost of say heating with gas or wood.

yeah.. I was using my rigs as heat source in Houston Tongue .. it has been hot as hell winter. I was so hoping to use it. but still I get drop of a 1MH/s each card and get lbry 25MH per card on 4x480. Power consumption goes up by 15-20W and heat goes through the roof. .

And I see some level of instability after mining with cards moving from ETH to Zcash and back.. its just weird that miner works perfectly. but the moment I close the miner the whole system hangs. .

Basically with a 470/480, if you dual mine you will only make $0.10/day extra per card. Back in the day it was more like $0.30-0.40/day.

Not if you are paying power eth + SIA is power hungery by like 30% , Eth alone uses a bit more power than ZEC alone so its a no brainer to mine ZEC if you have power over .10

Personally, I still mine ZEC over ETH and my power is at $0.06/kwh. The temperatures difference means the fans run slower and therefore significantly quieter.

I'm having issues getting Visiontek 7950s to run for more than a minute. It gets to a temp of 62C with 100% fan, stops mining, and crashes. I've tried varying powlims, speeds above and blow stock, and a handful of other things. I used to mine with these a year and a half ago, and know how to tinker with the settings and have made custom BIOS for them, i 4-6, but currently they're using their stock BIOSes. I'm running Crimson 15.12 with them. Should I try 16.11.x or something? Any other words of advice? This happens on both cards.

I want to add to the 295x2. Cheesy And another datapoint for the wikipage since I can't add it my self:

XFX R9 295x2 550Sol/s 1150MHz core 1575MHz mem -i 6 Crimson 16.9.2, not sure of watts, Stock BIOS(A detail I think should be added).

Been running it like this for a few days. Sits at 62-69C depending on room temperature. If anyone else has any words of advice on this too, feel free to let me know!

EDIT: This killed my 295x2 after a 4 days of mining days... Into the oven it goes!

Please share your speeds of
R9 280X (R7970) 3GB 384 BIT GDDR5

2 in one rig, 172 at -i5 for one, 157 at -i3 on the other (second card runs a lot hotter due to spacing issues).

Both Gigabyte Windforce OC models running at stock clocks on stock BIOS.

I did a bit of playing with the clocks on them, but it didn't seem to make a noticeable difference on the cool card and made the hot card VERY unstable.

[Is this your pro duo or are you speculating,I was under the impression pro duo was 2 furys so that would give us around 600 s/s max with Claymore!

Nope. The Fury Pro is 2x a Nano less a little 'cause the clocks have to be down a bit due to heat dissipation limitations.

Or 2x a FuryX less somewhat more 'cause the clocks have to be down quite a bit.

If it's running something that is PCI-E bandwidth intensive it loses a LOT more due to having to split the bandwidth between the 2 seperate GPU chips.

GPU on the Fury is 3584 shader units or some such (I forget the exact number), the FuryX Nano and one GPU on the Pro are 4096.
