Funny, so I've installed windows on one rig, Win 10 Pro, especialy for Claymore 8 and my 480's and like 10 years go, Win freezes completely on a random basis Smiley

It feels like nothing has changed since XP etc Smiley

Anyone got Win10 running stable on a Z170 based Motherboard ? (Asrock Gaming K6) Ubuntu runs flawless.

Which drivers do you use ? When I'm trying to install 15.12 it just hangs at 2% for the AMD App manager
I've tried with Win10 but no chance, right now I'm running 9 cards on Win7 64bit (Home version) +Crimson 16.10.
Edit: Mobo Asrock H81 Pro BTC ( + 6gpu_mod)

anyone mining with rx 480 here? im only getting 193-197 H/s each card. Please anybody who could share their settings.. Smiley
Thanks a lot!!!

Thats exactly what I'm getting with my 480's. Occasionally they jump up over 200 but average its about 196 h/s
Same here, you can't really get any faster.

I was thinking about getting some RX 480s, but keep on hearing this type of information.  I am getting 188 SOLs with my RX 470s.  For the efficiency and price, I am staying with the RX 470s!

GPU comparison table: https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=ZCash_mining_GPU_Comparison

I am seeing these numbers that may help:

MSI   RX 480 8GB Gaming X   215   1300     2100   6   Claymore 8.0   16.10.1   195
MSI   RX 480 8GB Gaming X   210   1340     2145   4   Claymore 8.0   16.11.4   110 (undervolted)

I flashed my reference rx 480 4gb cards to rx 480 8gb reference.  This increased my hashrate per card by about 10h/s.

All cards are downvolted by 96mv.  This lowered GPU temperatures and power usage significantly.

Fans are set at 80-81% speed.
GPU temps are down by 4C to 25C.

Biggest thing is the cards are no longer hitting 90C and throttling the GPU down.

Hash rate has gone to 190.9 to 195 h/s for most of the cards.

This is due to the fact I have 22 rx 480 GPU clustered together.
Running latest driver.

I know I can tweak the bios more, but I don't really have time right now.

My XFX 480 8G are running stable at 185 stock. but my MSI 480 4G, always under-perform at 140-160 range at stock. Even though I overclocked it, it only goes up to 170. it only hit 192 at 1320/2000 while other cards running at stock. how do i fix this?

What do you mean? You have to be more specific on why the third card doesn't run. Tell us what you're doing

Well I got this hd7950 for cheap and I also bougt a riser and built the rig frame and all. When I connect all three gpus xfx is in pcie x16 and sapphire is in pcie x4. They are both on motherboard directly. Than I connected hd7950 with riser in pcie x1 and only xfx and hd7950 were working. If i disconnect hd7950, xfx and sapphire are working. I also jump wired a1 and b17 pin on x1 slot.

From my experience running a 7770 with a 480 I had first to install the 7770 using the 15.12 drivers and only after install the 480 with the latest drivers. I think you should try first installing the 7950 alone on the x1 and ser if thats  is the problem and install the other 2 one by one.  Other things to look for is if you have enough power for all 3 cards. At a minimum a 650 PSU is needed. By the way how much you paid for the 7950?
