It depend on your average price but lets assume that you really got it cheap like $40. Now i think the price is around $300. So you will have around $260 of profit. So what is your plan after selling. Are you going to invest it again, are you going to splurge,buy a car or something nice. Both ways are okay since the reason we invest is to enjoy our gain.
It really depend if you are happy with your gain. If you are happy with it sell it.

Better to keep on holding it. But if you are good and happy with $313 / ETH then 50% isn't a bad number for selling half of your ETH. This is a big money already, 250 /2 = 125 ETH x $313 = $39,125 while you can have still some other ETH's on your storage. It's a good time now to sell as the price was healthy again but if I were you, I'll divide it and most of the percentage will be keep on held. |

Well of course, like having that amount of eth will definitely a good catch. Just HODL it and never misses the chance as eth underwent a hard fork and many are speculating that the price will increase in no time. |

I'd hold on to my coins if I had that amount but since there was a recent fork that happened on Ethereum I'd probably hold them fora couple of weeks and when Ethereums price would become stable I'd probably exchange some amount to bitcoin and hold on to that as well.

you should keep them for some time if you want to get profit in future from them. because etherum is the number second highest rate coin in crypto now a days and its rate is increasing with time because many people have start investing in etherum and it will be more profitable for you in the future. so keep it hold if you have no need of money now.

I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL?
How do you think about the price of ETH end of this year.
I lost just small amount (5 ETH) because i bought the highest price.
I don`t know I hold or SELL.
Give me your opinion.
If now you need money you should sell. and if you do not need money this time should first be put on hold. Because ETH is worth the investment because this coin is a lot of devotees and very popular. I think the end of this year ETH has a good price This is a good suggestion so far which i do really made such thing if i dont really need funds or money then i just let those holding would sit for long term and if i do already need on money and i do see that those coins are already on profits then it would tend to sell some portion of it for the sake of profit taking too which is really a win-win situation for me.If i do decide to diversify then you can anytime pull out some of it. |

With the hardfork coming so close, i think it is best to hold on to your eth. Btc's hardfork affects not only its values but all other altcoins also and as we have observed, eth value has been so low lately hence, holding on to them and waiting until everything goes back to normal and values starting to rise up, is the best thing to do as of the moment. Give your eth some time to grow say a few moments. Surely you'll gain some profit.

250ETH? Thats great! HOLD it bro. Printout the private key, store it in a safe dry place. If you want to save the digital copy of your privatekey, make sure it is password protected. Leave it for 10years. You should see a very huge price difference.

250 is a descent stack. I think if the price has worked fine for that long, that it will continue to do so. Ethereum just finished with some important updates, which means that the network is again more stable and that extra privacy features will be implemented soon (zsnarks) which, in my opinion, will keep the price going up. There isn't much to lose to be honest, if you want to buy something like a car/computer or anything that is not really "vital", I'd recommend you not to sell. If you need to money for something important, some financial obligation you have to fulfill, then feel free to liquidate your holders - but unless you really have to, keep the ETH, it will keep on appreciating.

However, I advise we should to ready the worst situation all cryptocurrency will continue to decrease its price and Bitcoin also drop down after fork. That is the worst time I can imagine in November and the end of this year. Also, that time can make the bullish trend of Bitcoin end in a long time. |

What's the logic here? Is it like this: ICO's were not successful. They couldn't collect ETH so they can't dump on it. If so yes you may be right. Sell pressure is weaker now. |
