I hate to say it but that late April date would explain a lot of why there are no photos from anyone that show anything with the Prospero name on it,no tape out date,no mock-up of the design even with a dummy board. just some shots of heat sinks on a table and an FPGA board supposedly running a simulation of the Minion.

If that delivery date applies to orders already placed and paid for,then it is very worrisome to skip 2 months ahead. it would suggest to me that things with the Minion are not going
very well as other components should be routine. This could be worse for the X-1 if pushed back to late Apr,you get in May and be happy to get your money back if the diff goes as predicted. imo. I hope I'm wrong as I just sent off a wire  for a X-3 last night

This April date is news to me. If Minersource is pushing back the date, BA should be too. I have yet to hear from management about pushing back the date, and I'm glad you posted that reply on their forums, since it's a very good question to ask them. There's a whole lot of nothing being shown for all this time in development other than a few heatsinks and a datasheet. Add those facts, plus the fact no one seems to be able to provide this information nor have the time to give it. There are a lot of worried customers out there.

im sick of all this preorder crap....   pay now to fund our research and development.....    any presales should come with shares of a companies stock....

I've been considering investing in BA, but with the lack of solid development progress updates, I'm considering going back to KnC, simply for reliability.

Guys, Batch 1 is sold out. I guess they have not updated their site yet, but they communicated to me yesterday that Batch 2 was now open, for delivery late april. Any one who paid for an order through me through last night will have made it into Batch 1, All orders starting today are Batch 2. Hope that clears it up.

I do take USD thru the site, just current not enabled due to a bug. (You tried to select "Wire", and the site would just 404).

I wish you guys had been a little more reliable and accurate with your information, I could have paid yesterday, but went to go pay today, there is no way I'm waiting til late april to get some units. I was picking up 2 units, for tests, and if things went well I would have stayed with black arrow.... Just lost a customer

You will be fine. I have more than a few pending wires, all were included in B1. The closed it a little early I think to make sure everyone who was pending/ waiting for payment info will make it in.

Production capacity =/ how many miners they are making. Theres no such thing as unlimited wafers.

These asic companies are super responsive when the product is launching, but once they have a few million dollars in the bank they really forget quickly how to log into this forum and post. Not just BA but all companies. Sad that we havent yet seen one that runs a business the right way. KNC came close but still lacking.

That is why they brought me on board, and a few more CS people. They don't really have the time to post on the forums, and I can usually get pretty quick answers out of them, given my official capacity.

Glad to see that you are officially part of the BA customer service Bobsag3! This is a cut/paste from my post on the BA forum that is yet to be answered,maybe you can.
 David is someone from BA that tries answer question from time to time.
