Nothing as usual :/ "Mass production in under way and shipping will start from the beginning of next week." -- BA So if this statement is a lie not to mention grammatically incorrect then is it not also reasonable to assume the following statement is also a lie? "There are no Prospero miners X1 or X3 which are hashing on any of our facilities." -- BA I would hope it is a lie. At this point if they don't have a single X1 or X3 hashing 24/7 then they are working on blind faith that whatever they are mass producing is going to work reliably for customers 24/7 once they ship.

I did order of 3x Prospero X1 on patch 1, last November. But one month ago I did ask them refund because of continuous delays, and low ROI. There were very keen to take my order off on list (reply and actions on same day) but i haven't heard anything about them after that...

At this point it should be fairly obvious that nobody gets their miner until the difficulty level of bitcoin makes them worthless. Another company running their own mining farm?

Me too. I'm just wondering how they'r testing the X1 without hashing. If any satoshi done in test phase would have be given to us, so much clamour would be saved.

You guys are hilarious. There is nothing wrong with them running test units as long as they are not running these on a massive scale. I am sure that this is a "lost in translation" issue. They obviously mean they are not hashing on customer units. OBVIOUSLY they have to hash with the prototypes!
Do you want to receive a unit that fails after 1 day of hashing?
Anyway whats the point of all these accusations anyway? They won't help anything.

You're hilarious. They don't need to run a machine on the live network to test it. There's a nifty thing called "test net in a box" for things just like this.

Take you'r "test net in a box" in case u don't remember this http://ecointalk.net/gallery/image/71-20131123-215037/NB. Nobody said "They shouldn't have done tests". We said we'r hopeing they'r hashing something now, in a way or another ( and in better way distributing those light coins, in worst only heating running out of the main network (NOSENSE) )

They are obviously cash/bitcoin poor since they can't afford to refund customers. I'd rather they were hashing so they could do the refunds in queue sooner than later. It is questionable that once they start shipping they will see an onslaught of new orders to pay for the refunds.

Bobsag, can you comment as to whether your X-1 arrived and is working properly? Some more pictures and video would be appreciated.

And, thanks to their self-moderated thread, my 300+ posts proving that the Romanian, et al. behind BA is nothing but a sham, have all been deleted.

So you'd be okay if they hash with your hardware increasing the difficulty that you're going to be working against to earn money to pay off other people? Don't get me wrong, It'd be great if refunds were being processed but that should not be done on the backs, and expense of those who have chosen not to refund.

If 100 people ordered an X3 and 25 of them refunded, presumably they still made 100 X3s. That's what they are telling people who asked for refunds anyway. I'd rather they hash on those so they can afford to refund than try to sell them, since at this point I'm not sure who would buy. I would also hope that they are doing some sort of burn-in test with some of these to prove their stability prior to shipment. It is a weak point, I admit. For having waited through all of this I wish you the best for getting your units shipped to you first.

Went away for a few days, so just finally checking in today, and trying to get caught up to speed.
Can anyone chime in with the answers to these questions:
1)Did BA ever get those pesky X-1 cases?
2)Was the X-3 backplane issue resolved?
3)If yes to either 1 or 2, did BA finally announce a shipping date or estimated ship date?
4)Did the proposed compensation plan change at all from the 50% more hash for Batch 1? Does everyone still have to be required to purchase PSU's for the compensation miners?
5)Anyone have any clue what the "special surprise gift" that was mentioned before is?
Much appreciated,
Chuck

1. Yes. 2. It is still being worked on, but progress is being made. 3. Shipping is scheduled this week. 4. It is planned to be further discussed shortly. 5. The surprise has not yet been released.
