Price has been dropping all year. Why are you surprised.

Basically when a coin can't rally on good news like the future ETH futures or ETH issuance reduction then its very bad. Kind of what happened with BTC in 2014. Good news came out but it went down anyways.

Basically too many ICOs cashing out and too many people sitting at 80-90% losses who can't take it anymore and they are withdrawing whatever money they have left before it turns into $0.

yup...this drop is caused by the ico people dumping their eth. interesting to see where it going to stop. at what price people will be willing to catch the falling knifes ?

Agree, arguably the ride or even a fall in the price of a coin is a very commonplace thing going on in his, because many crypto ICO that failed and it had to force investors to immediately pull their money so as not to be a very big loss.

I just have a hard time believing that Ethereum just dropped from 400 to less than 200 in a little over a month and I thought $400 was low compared to the all time high.  I know this stuff volatile but I just cannot believe there are 7 billion people in this world and I read an article 79% people know about Cryptocurrency, Eth is the 2nd biggest without a question in marketcap, and several months later there is still more selling.  Yet the bullish news is mindboggling to me about BAKKT to set up institutional, IRA and 401K investment and Trump hiring Pro-cryptocurrency SEC commissoner for the commissioner ratio now to more likely favor an ETF approval.  I heard institutional money has up to $30 trillion dollars.  When Goldman Sachs postpones the average top 100 coins crash about 20% yet I doubt the market didn't go up 20% on average when Goldman Sachs started his trading desk.

With regards to price, I am realy surprised with its current value today but if we take a look on the market all coins are in red anf I just can't believe that ETH didn't hold still in $200 mark.
