Any news about Ethereum 2.0? do not tell me they are delaying it again? Could not find anything related to Ethereum 2.0, something wrong happened?
I mean, we are expecting it to turn the tide. but seems like it will not happen this year.

I don't remember the source but on twitter saw that internal documents shows that developers in Ethereum are doing intense testings and hard work without doing it public. They are not only aware of the situation but also are concerned to remain fully in the game as important player. If these things are true is big news and tactic to keep the interest fully in it.

Interestingly, earnings are constantly they fall in the growing minus and the difficulty remains the same. It's not profitable mining although I have very cheap electricity. I believe that there are secret ASIC devices or extremely optimized GPU miners. Large farms have to pay their huge electricity bills and how when earnings not cover the costs of mining?  |

Right now with BTC bear trend, everything is hard to predict what will be the ETH price. Hope 2019 will bring good raise for ethereum and all alt in general.
I think that the real growth of the cryptocurrency market and ETH will begin in 2020. We are waiting for not very easy times in the near future, but we must show resilience. You are exactly right, in 2020 it is the end of the dry season because after that there will be further halving from bitcoin, I think all coins will follow the price of bitcoin in 2020 including ETH. Craig Wright said that bitcoin will not be around by the end of 2019  he is a funny guy. It certainly wont be on the lightning network Not sure I understand what you are trying to say. Craig Wright said that bitcoin will be gone altogether as he found a bug. |

Every ending is a new beginning just as every starts has an end. This is classic practical demonstration of capitalism at small level. When things can not be take at higher level then they juts drag things to earth and then start building again. Ethereum has no exception market is being reshaped for next rise. People were inviting institutional investors now welcome them and face them.

I am really surprised that it broke $200 or even the $400 area a few months back. Never would of assumed that double digit was possible. Pretty crazy to go from a 4 figure coin to a 2 figure coin.
Last year after it hit $420, I was going to open a long trade at $100, however it never reached $100 instead went to $137 which also broke this week.
The miners also must be suffering since with 8 cent power, you are at break-even. And if you paid $800 for a 1080Ti at the beginning of the year, they are most likely sitting at a large loss.

There we go already three exchanges are showing a drop which pushed the prices of ETH under $100. I am sure nobody had thought this kind of scenario for this period of year. Now this is what really a bear market looks like with rapid decline without showing any sign of bottomed. This is insane and complete cleansing for good. Where all this stop this is million dollars question now.

Good summary I would say. However, the lack of utility has had its impact on the price. Having infinite supply is another issue that is problematic for the value of Ethereum. |

Good summary I would say. However, the lack of utility has had its impact on the price. Having infinite supply is another issue that is problematic for the value of Ethereum. Infinite supply is also terrible fact of this project still no there is no solution and nobody knows when will hear some good news about the future. ETH needs special care to get survive nobody was expecting to see this again in $100 range. |
