[ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning

It may not be long  ethereum 2.0 will appear and become one of the breakthroughs made by the ethereum, because there is some news that will be circulating ethereum will soon be introduced on January 16, 2020, maybe this could be one of the start for the revival of ethereum prices back.

I hate such news on unconfirmed days of launch. I do not need such news when it does not bring exact/ scheduled launch day. Over expectation, and long waiting time might lead to stress, dissapointment, and panic actions, somehow. I think it is better without such news. News should be released only if it contains exact scheduled launch day of important upgrades for Ethereum network. Consequently, I only wait for official news from Ethereum team and / or Vitalik's tweets.

4 years ago, on July 30, 2015, Ethereum went live. Without Ethereum, Crypto World would not be as we have it right now 

Really, the ANN thread was published on January 23, 2014. nearly one year and six months previous than the day you mentioned.

I was talking about when the project Ethereum had its first Initial release - the day the system then went live on 30 July 2015, with 72 million coins "premined". That is completely different from simply creating a topic on this forum

Bakkt is going launch fully-working platform in the end of this quarter (Q3). As I heard Ethereum will be listed there too after BTC. Its should move up a lot ETH price in next few month 

it will take a while that eth will be lists there after btc. btc price will take affect after listing and after eth listing price could go high in btc pair.
right now according to market situation looks like eth and other alt along with btc is getting ready to pump again.

Ethereum is not moving well but BTC crossed $10k price again and hope it's a good sign for crypto market.
It could be a correction but not pump because there is no latest news who hype the market well.
Hope so we will see huge pump in this year but need to wait!!

You don't know! why investors are not interested in ICO's anymore, because many ICO are exit scam so they are afraid to lose money.
But many ICO's are legit and projects  based on ethereum blockchain, hope we will see pump in ethereum price in near future.

Come on Ethey f%$#ing pump, ignite, rally, run, explode, moon already! It's hard for me to believe that we are all the way back to 0.02 ethbtc ratio and btc dominance on btc.d tradingview is 69.5%   .  Most alt/btc ratios are at there very lows again  .

Ethereum and other top cryptocurrencies not showing any movement but BTC keep going up and dominance also rising.

I think it depends what new features are available when it launches, and if we have to wait for any to get completed.

We might see a positive movement once there will be a specific date on the announcement, that's considered as a big news and ETH badly need that as BTC's dominance keep increasing and that makes ETH and the rest of the altcoins dump.

The dropping Btc/Eth ratio needs to turn around. It used to be there was Btc, Eth, and everything else. Now there's Btc and everything else. Eth seems not able to capitalize on its features and is being relegated to just another shitcoin in a sea of shitcoins.

Yes, a smart contract application that would be widely adopted is still a light at the end of the tunnel for Eth. Lots of promise and potential but so far no killer apps. Perhaps the best group to adopt Ethereum network is institutions but they are just as likely to use the tech but have their own coin.
