I think it's time for me to just give up on my pool predictions. So bad, so bad. And almost out of group games. Anyway. Barca tonight.

Won't even comment that VAR travesty in Real-PSG game, it ended with a draw which is more than PSG deserved tonight so all parties can go home happy and forget about this game.

Now I watch video of that moment. How it's not penalty?! Ok, maybe it's not red card foul, but c'mon... I can't understand how referee can make such decision after VAR review.
Speaking about Dinamo Zagreb, Shakhtar draw against City made their situation even more complicated. Now Dinamo will have to beat City and wait for Shakhtar loss against Atalanta. But they can blame only themselves for it. Bad match tonight, chocking against Shakhtar on injury time...

I saw the replay of that incident. How long before the penalty and red card did the earlier foul take place? Wasn't there a goal in United vs Liverpool where VAR wanted to see if there was a foul in the buildup? That foul looked even worse and the goal still stood.

For me this is crazy to call VAR to go so far up the game to look for some stupid issue.

If anyone told me that one day, Mourinho will lead a team to score 7 goals and let in 4, in two games, I would say like, yeah, what are the odds on that, cause I'll take it. Pretty sure it would easily be an over 100/1 parlay, though if you guys are right and Spurs 3/1 after being 2-0 down? The the bookies definitely know times have changed.

@slaman29: yup! If we had got that call, we could be on a perfect 39 points after 13 games too, actually, but no. If that kind of foul isn't called, that happened in front of refs and officials, and play goes on, I really don't see why it should be dragged back up. Of course if the foul is really bad and no one noticed, then sure. You punish retrospectively. I suppose we'll just have to get used to it... and maybe teams get wiser about not fouling. But that incident will only encourage simulation when robbed off possession.

big_daddy, cryptofrka where is disappeared Dinamo Zagreb, which demolishes Atalanta in his first match in Zagreb? I expect much more from them after this game.

I played Atalanta handicap win, it was kind of expected. They had their chance against Shakhtar and blew it the same way they always do, my prediction after that draw was that they won't even qualify for Europa League knock-outs. The way yesterday's games went, I kind of feel the same way now. I will bet on Atalanta against Shakhtar and if Atalanta manages to win, Dinamo needs a win against City.

Too many good games at the moment can't decide what to watch...Switching between the games but will probably settle on multicast. I have a program with screen divided in 4 parts, currently showing Dinamo, Madrid, Juve and City. Only problem, there isn't enough time for snacks and beer.

Got me 1.5 for the draw.

What a bad decision by the ref and var team in the real - psg match. Should have been a red card and penalty, ref waved off the push on marcelo in real time so no idea why he would want slow motion footage of that as it will always look worse than it actually is.

Oh well, let's see what these last 30mins will bring 

Honestly, that flummoxed me. The push was light and Marcelo seemed to make a meal out of it. Another case of VAR looking for a reason to disallow something. If the ref doesn't blow for it they shouldn't be running games back to look for something. I've said this before but we're going to need a time machine since we're going back in time for games now. A red card is a red card. Could a player punch someone in the face, but it gets rescinded if there was a foul beforehand in the build-up?

VAR out!  I'd rather argue about a call, a no call without VAR than with it around.  The human factor isn't gone, so why VAR?

I am picked my predicts for tonight games. I do not expect a win from Inter Milan, they did not earn a single point as guests. Slavia will be strongly motivated to take third place in the group.

Yup, backing Chelsea today too and I can't really be bothered with overthinking, though I am of course looking forward to welcoming Napoli. Can't find no pre-match streams yet...

Anyway, Pulisic pulled Chelsea in front now and if they win, then my night is off to a perfect start, as they kick off a 4-leg parlay I got on 10/1. I'm really enjoying Chelsea under Lampard. And to hear me say that about the Blues? Yeah, I didn't see myself ever giving them a nod before haha.

Only one more round of games left for anybody to catch big daddy. I managed to drop yesterday to 8 and climb back to 7 today so I guess it could have been worse for me, but well done to you cryptofrka. Slipped one place, which I suppose isn't the worse thing in the world, but yeah it does look like we all have one final round to try and really shake things up. cryptofrka showed us that's possible, as did Trofo. Well done boys and girls.

Betting wise I didn't do well. Didn't actually lose money, but lost a lot of free money haha. And now Liverpool's got a hectic 11-game schedule to see out before January!

I don't know, I still feel Lovren at CB is always a risk, but for some reason Gomez hasn't recovered his form. Apparently, us conceding 11 straight games is worst clean sheet performance since 1998. Strange times.

This was indeed a good night for Croats, the three of us did very well in the pool and most of the Croatian players involved in games did really well. Modric had a performance which reminded all what he is capable off, Rakitic got nice time on the pitch and he was also good after shaking the rust of in first few minutes, Perisic came on and assisted the goal immediately, Lovren scored a very important one for Liverpool, Brozovic pulled another 90 minutes for Inter (I expect he was as good as usual didn't watch a minute of this one).

Anyway all that was needed to balance the Croatian football scales after bad performance from Dinamo

I'm starting another long parlay involving Liverpool in 3 games in 2 competitions, beginning with this one. Caught it when odds were still 2/1 too (now is 18/10). We need to win, and we'd like to do it by the first half so I suspect we could be in for some heavy metal football. Especially if some of our less regular starters play. They'll be hungry.

Predicted 23 goals in the Sportsbet contest, but my Superbru predictions have 28 goals =p
