Anyone watching the game? 4-1 at half time to Bayern and Barca's goal was an own goal as well. I thought there could have been a few goals or a stuffing by Bayern, but not 4-1 at half time. I've got a couple of accumulators on with over 3.5 and 4.5 goals so I'm hoping they come in. Need some more cards from both though and I'm not sure if Bayern will pick many up with this lead.

If true, it basically reduces the value of a draw bet in the knockouts to the level where you never want to pick it.

Yeah, not sure I'd bother with the draws now. You've basically got to have the game go to penalties to win.

Nice hits on the over 3.5 and over 4.5 I personally thought this was going to be a high-scoring match with a close win or draw but I overestimated my own team. In La Liga we kept insisting to bench Griezmann and we lost those games a lot, but it seems our beloved manager went his stubborn way once more and waited for 2nd half to employ the trident.

My consolation is this was the best CL game after restart though. And I agree with Trofo better to get this kind of loss now so they can restart on a better foundation.

What a game, this is why we watch Champion League. I can't wait for tomorrow's headlines in English newspapers. They will tear Guardiola a new one for changing a formation before this game and I am sure they will have much to say about the whole City team.

De Bruyne has again been his usual perfect passer even in this lackluster City squad and he is the only who was on the level for Citizens. Not even gonna comment that miss by Sterling  

I must say I was very impressed by Aouar, Lyon looked dangerous whenever he got the ball. What to say about Cornet he scored 4 goals in last 3 games against City, he is probably praying they play against City every year in CL.

Best of all I predicted a 3:1 game so I played both to score and over 2.5 goals on this one and cashed nicely. Doesn't matter I thought City will score 3, this way it is even sweeter.

I thought the lesson was taught already but then when you have Chelsea who showed everyone money CAN buy championships and cups,,, of course other clubs want to follow right? And if PSG win it this year then it shows that money can finally buy it. I mean, if you have the best talents in the world and they play every day in the same league for a few seasons eventually they can win it.

But the real lesson is sustainability. Look at Leeds. Look at Monaco.

They already bought their cups years ago with the PL, though money will always be trumped by teams that just play better football (see when Leicester won the PL). You can't expect teams to win everything though no matter how much you spend, especially when you're up against Europe's best teams who often have the same sort of money spent as they do. Even great squads can have bad games or poor form as well and City and Barca are perfect examples of this. Man United just lost in the Europa to Sevilla as well. I thought we might see both Manchester teams in the finals this year.

What you mean finally caught up? I was third before the restart but started with predicting some upsets in those first games and dropped a few places. Now I am climbing up to my "real" positions
