Anyway, looks like my 41/1 bet on Barca died in HT (actually already won my cards and corners overs, Messi scoring, and only needed Barca to score 3 more goals lol) but needed them to also win both halves, which Messi unfortunately did not do when his penalty was saved. 1 wonder goal, and 1 missed penalty. Damn.

Meanwhile, Liverpool do look in control but I'd feel a lot better if we could just score 1 goal. 30 mins to play.

Barcelona ? Not tonight! I wasn't expectant to be honest and I said it! However, I believe If Messi had scored that penalty then there would have been a huge amount of pressure on PSG.

I watched Barca game and I must say that they squandered their chance in first half. They should have had 3:1 lead with the amount of chances they created, even a missed penalty from Messi but he scored a screamer before that so can't blame him much.

yeah, played in Budapest, as the first one, and that brought Liverpool good luck
maybe it would be different for Leipzig if played on Anfield , but nevertheless, both teams that had good first match result made their progress

watched Barca as well, they played as expected, but did not scored when needed, so there was no excitement in the end

^^ Yeah, I know it's silly to say but was wondering myself if not playing at Anfield was actually a good thing for us because they did seem to play more calmly. Then again, it's a huge difference playing with Fabinho in midfield, so clearly more stable at the back. Nice to see Mane and Salah together again of course, and scoring again minutes apart.

I know you're not in this pool @LFC_Bitcoin but I just found out belatedly that we finally get the chance to avenge our loss to Real Madrid! Ramos is back from injury too, so I'm sure we get to see him again. I know we could have had an easier draw but I LOVE this matchup and I'm sure our boys can't wait to get it on.

So excited, can't wait to put down some money on our boys. Istanbul!

Yeah 13 games. You would have to get 0 points from 4 games while someone gets exact scores on those, so I would bet money on you keeping and extending your lead, the way things are going.

I'm still somehow in the running for a prize spot but I still have my outright on Liverpool to look forward to (which has considerably become worth more as BTC price goes up!

I'm in big on Liverpool. I know it's petty but I really see this as an opportunity for payback and I know Salah and co feel absolutely the same. I honestly wish Ramos were in this team but it's pretty much the same bones as the ones that beat us in the final two years ago, so all good.

Zidane paid a strange compliment though, saying we're a complete team when it's painfully obvious to me we're not!

Dortmund was better than I expected and they could have even gotten more from this first game. There was also some doubtful ref decisions in City favor. Liverpool looked quite bad and they can be happy they managed to score at least that one away goal, 2:0 is enough for them to progress but they will have to be orders of magnitude better in that march. CL is Real playground and if any team knows how to win it, it is them. When they were quite poor in their group I said that they are winners if they manage to progress. So far they are keeping my bet alive.

Agree for Bayern, maybe it will sound a bit strange but I believe bavarians will manage to absorb Lewa not playing much easier than PSG missing Verrati. Verrati is the only real creative connection between PSG defense and their atomic attack. Free tip for tonight, Neymar to get yellow card or even maybe red one. If the game is in Bayern favor that is almost free money.

^  You could play it safe and parlay Chelsea and City at around 3.05 or something depending on what book you’re using.  If you really want at least 5 then add the over 3.5 goals for the Bayern vs PSG match.

Anyway, there are clubs that fans as the ‘12th man’ really matter.  LFC and BVB are those two clubs in this quarter final.

I am thinking Chelsea will have a rough time today. The game is played at neutral venue and Porto is getting back their 2 main players. In the first game Porto was good but Chelsea managed to convert their chances. I would not be surprised if this one goes Porto way. I have placed a bet on both to score since I am sure Porto is scoring today and hopefully Chelsea will take care of their part of the bet as well.

Strange encounters between these two. Bayern was much better in first game and PSG scored goals from all their chances. This time it is the other way around, PSG is killing them, Neymar already hit woodwork twice and Bayern is leading. I want it to finish 3:2 for Bayern so we can enjoy extra time and maybe even penalties.

Porto should go for all or nothing soon so I am expecting that game to become interesting as well but I am still keeping my TV on PSG one for sure.
