Also, please note, I still have a few changes to make, so anything referencing "Bitcoin" on the site is in fact referencing 888. My version does not pay out or receive BTC at all, only 888. If you click on a blue box and get an error that a bet has already been placed, it's likely because of another player online at the same time, not sure how it handles updating the game graphics across different sessions.

I see someone's playing! If you get an error, 207, I think, would be because you've wiped out the bank. I'll keep an eye open. It's pretty easy to break even or come out ahead if you play for awhile. I'm getting a "crash" course in node.js but starting to understand the code a little better, so I'm going to try and get an idea of the odds and randomness the game's betting engine uses. The point being is that I'd like it to be as fair as possible.

Awesome, I thought that was you tearing up the game board! Glad it's going smooth. If it really catches on and gets big I may bump it up where you can bet 1.0, but I'd like to test it awhile first.

Edit: seems to work fine with multiple players clicking at once, I see the pieces disappear in realtime same as it comes across the server console, so good! A decent strategy is to bet .01, I've noticed I lose pretty quick betting .1 but .01 I can usually do better than break even.

Keeping an eye on the console and wallet to make sure there's no problems. Just make sure when you're finished to withdraw to your address. If you clear cookies while you have coins in the game they will get lost!

Seems crazy cheap. I was buying up to .00001900 last week, and I was happy then. This just gives us more 888 for our money.

It's crazy that around 130k should be ca. 1% in the moment and people becoming whales for peanuts!

Funny you should ask about the big wallets and whales. I spent an hour last night going through every transaction over 10000 Octo, and found around 50 wallets or so with at least 100k Octo. Quite a few have 300k-400k, and two have over 1,000,000!

And yes the easy mining is excellent!!!

Yea, it's crazy to see such big wallets. There were a few around 700k-800k as well. Doesn't seem like many people are dumping, but that's probably because the buy support and price aren't very large. Or, maybe it's because they see the potential of 888 and are holding long term!

Yeah, there are some big holders. I don't think there is enough buy support. In reality the only bit of volume seen is from CryptoRush and that isn't much. Mintpal and Cryptsy will really prove the coins worth.

Speaking of whales, my roommate has about 150,000.... he's held every single bit and still mines it some.

I have about 40,000 and have held. It just doesn't make sense to sell before any type of real exchange or announcements from the devs.

And when people come to us screaming scam about Octo, which is rare, but has happened here and there, it has no support to that claim. The devs couldn't even cash out without having the volume support on an exchange which hasn't happened for Octo yet.
