Will be providing an update and summary of where we are at this week. Until then, we wanted to make sure everybody knows the dev team is still alive despite the lack of consistent updates. Updates will be much more frequent once we enter the next phase of OctoCoin. Unfortunately, at the current time, The OctoCoin Project consists primarily of endless programming, meetings, etc. Getting added to a major exchange will be important for a number of our projects as they are financial in nature. Although none of our business projects can operate properly without a baseline level of liquidity, most of our gaming projects can operate without the need for a high-volume exchange. The gaming projects that are tied to physical casinos cannot be launched without a way for 888 to be more liquid both directions - without that, it would be a nightmare for the casino owners due to risk/taxes/regulation/etc. Keep voting on MintPal - we're grinding our way up and we will certainly throw some additional bitcoins at it as we approach our goal. One of our investors contacted Cryptsy requesting that they add OctoCoin to their exchange bypassing the voting process - we are hoping that will take place. Once we can begin to establish an accurate market, we can start growing the value of OctoCoin accordingly. Right now, releasing our OctoCoin-exclusive software without proper exchange support seems like a major kink in the dynamic of our business model. Luckily, it's still not an emergency since we are still in the kitchen cooking up these projects. We have a lot of time and money invested in OctoCoin and intend for OctoCoin to be bigger than "just another crypto-currency" - it will be. There is no better time to be mining - before you know it, the bonus blocks will be gone. There is no better time to acquire 888 on the small exchanges - growth in supply will only slow further, demand will only grow greater, and the opportunity will never be better than right now to make an investment in 888.

So you still see no need to patch the Wallet against all the Problems that popped up in the last Weeks? This takes one of your 8 Developers 1-2 Hours max to fix all Problems. Make it another 2 Hours to implement some sort of KGW/DGW/NGW Solution. There will be no growth if the technical base of the coin, the Hearth for all your other projects, is in such a bad shape as it is today! Its hard to believe all your claims if even the most basic things for a coin ARE NOT BEING DEALT WITH. So here is my deadline for you. Fix the wallet within 1 Week or i will remove the IRC Chan, the IRC Bot, P2Pool Scanner and the other things i done for this coin. |

Didn't realize there were this many people having ongoing issues with the wallet - these "stuck" transactions can be canceled and re-sent. I had one person report that solo-mining on the wallet that has the stuck transaction also pushes it through. Regardless, we will bump some of the new features we were adding into the client to the next release and fast-track the fixed wallets. We will also be releasing an Android wallet soon as well as an official cloud wallet.

I had one person report that solo-mining on the wallet that has the stuck transaction also pushes it through. Regardless, we will bump some of the new features we were adding into the client to the next release and fast-track the fixed wallets.
