I had a small buy order that was filled but I wish I would have had more!  888 under 400 satoshis a coin is just wrong!  When the OctoHub starts churning out projects that price is going to spike!  

I agree.... someone has lost faith and dumped but damn..... they are that close to the first app launching August 1st... why dump this close to the first 2-3 apps launching?

oh well i'm gonna buy some now... i can't not buy it at these prices.

Joking aside, this could not be a worse time to dump. I mean, the price spiked to over 2000 satoshis when a website with 8 rotating pictures was announced, if that doesn't spell potential I don't know what does.

The buy support has been really weak for a while now. It didn't take too much of a dump to drive the prices down. Even when I was buying at ~600 satoshi, a couple of days ago, I noticed that it wouldn't take much to drive the price under 400... I did not think it would happen, but it did. There has been multi-pool action back on the coin recently. If one hit it hard last night, without checking the buy support; they made a bad mistake...

It only took ten (10) trades (18k Octo sold) to go from 600 down to 382 satoshi and most of those were dumped at 600 (13,919 Octo).

At least I've gotten to pick up a few thousand hundred (it would be thousands if my buy orders would fill  ) under 400 for the first time in quite a while. Get 'em while you can!

No way. My coins are invested long term. They are not for sale. I still believe in  devs, though slow like a turtle! August 1st is a few days.
Volume is low. I have many more octo. Price falls because there is no support. Not willing to buy octo. People buy darkcoin and sell btc for fiat.

Because of a nightmare journey to the Airport I wasn't able to share these pictures a little over a week ago, but now I'm back I can show you the prototype pics Warty hasn't shown you. We were pushed for time so only managed to test the machine, the first one is a fail.



This is the picture Warty showed you of the 2nd glass. Right way up but still just a test etching, more to come.



We also have the ball rolling on the OctoChalice. The first prototype was made after a short conversation and a link to the octohub.org

Although awesome, the legs are not fully representative of what the glasses will look like, they'll be even better...



And for anyone who missed my earlier post

Here is a rough guide to the prices and production numbers.

Artist etched - 8 or 10 individual glasses. half sold at 15,000 888, half silent auctioned.
Machine etched sets - Probably 4 glasses in a set, 2 sets to choose from (or buy both) price is a bit of an unknown at the mo, but say 15,000 888 per set
Pimp Chalice - Very, Very limited. Hand made, probably maximum 4. These will cost us a lot to commission (approx $100 a piece) so could be pretty pricey, but like I said VERY limited. estimated 40,000 - 50,000 888

Regarding the price, we all know and expect 888 to go up in value so if you think you'll want one when they're ready I'd suggest buying up some cheap octo and putting it aside for a glass or glasses. Worst case scenario, we fail to make the glasses happen, you sell 1,000's of octo at a higher price.

Also we are looking to include worldwide delivery from the UK in the 888 price :-)
