Arteta is right about everything he says. Arsenal haven't been much near it since the beginning of the season. As of this loss the gap with Liverpool is 8 points so here we are.

The problem is that they don't have many players left who can score. Saka is out for months. Gabriel Jesus isn't even expected to recover before the end of the season. Who will play as the striker really? 

They desperately try players like Havertz (he is also out), Merino etc.. They aren't even strikers. I know Liverpool also doesn't have a good striker but they have Salah who takes a huge responsibility in most of the goals.

It is not about having striker that is the issue, when Arsenal won Manchester city 5:1. Did they borrow striker from another club, is it not the same players that won Manchester city that was used in playing against wolves. Saka has not been in  injury for long and arsenal has been winning match. It is not something new to arsenal fans, that whenever they are getting close to the end of season they will start losing points, whether Saka is there or not it wouldn't have changed anything.

I try not to believe in the curse, but every time a new player is brought in by Man United, their performance will decline and after he is sold or loaned his performance will come back to life. There have been many examples and this cycle continues. So this is no longer about the players but the people behind the management of Man United itself including the most important coaching staff. The most reasonable solution and the final solution is to sell the club to someone who is ready in everything, especially in terms of finance. Because so far the Glazer Family has only used the fame of the Man United name for their own interests, not for the interests of building the club.

This goes to prove that the players aren't even the problem with Manchester United. If so, how do we explain how these players suddenly become heroes immediately they leave the club to other clubs. At first I thought the problem was with the coaches, but it is very obvious that the problem goes beyond just the coaches but the entire management of Manchester United. Something we ain't seeing and haven't heard of is actually wrong with the club's management. It is not a curse, they know what to do to fix it. I wish they'll stop breaking the hearts of their fans by fixing whatever is wrong with the club.

That is another problem, and it is indeed a major cause. If they want an easy solution then Man United should sell their striker and sign a new striker who has a clinical finish, but if Man United want a solution to all their problems then it must be reset from the root, which means the ownership of the Club must change. In fact, Man United still has this opportunity, because recently Sheikh Jassim was reported to still have an interest in making an acquisition.

Now we just have to wait and see whether the Glazer and Sir Jim Ratcliffe will respond, or whether they will just ignore it and make Man United even worse.

Everyone should already know the problem with Manchester United by now, though some players could be blamed for poor performance but neither the general squad nor the coaches are to be blamed, the major problem is from the board level and it's general squad, Manchester have had the likes of Mourinho, Ragnick, Ole, and the one they sacked earlier this season Erik Ten Hag, not to even talk of Luis Van Gaal.

 These coaches I mentioned are experts in their field and apart from Ragnick the other where successful by winning a trophy for the club but along the line things began to fall apart, I won't even mention the top players they've had in the previous years cause they're too many but then they've failed to go back to the days of Sir Alex Ferguson, Glaziers are the problem of this club and until they hand over the owners by selling the club, things won't get better.

The PL star of the season is Mohamed Salah. He is in contention for the Ballon d'Or. Man City will not stop him from handing Liverpool the points. Newcastle and Forest need points on the table after losing their last games. They could add 1 point each.

Entering the time, so far, Moh Salah has managed to score 29 goals from a total of 37 matches, in all leagues, and has even contributed 20 assists. And he is the top scorer in the Premier League so far, leaving Haaland behind.

This time, Nottm Forest had to really admit Newcastle, usually they had played quite calmly. Only this time, Newcastle had even slaughtered 4 - 1. And what was interesting was that Alexander Isak managed to score 2 goals in just 2 minutes. And what's more interesting is that Nottingham Forest took the lead first in the 6th minute, but Newcastle followed up and surpassed it very quickly.

Liverpool had a small chance to win because Manchester City was beginning to increase its performance. We certainly haven't forgotten how badly Manchester City played in the Champions League. The fans hope they don't repeat it again when the derby happens tonight.

History is sometimes useless if current forms are too bad and Manchester City have a worst season in the last 7 years with Pep Guardiola. Their latest form is very terrible too and it does not help them in this big match with Liverpool. Bad form recently can play more important role in this coming match, and history won't be able to help Manchester City today.

Manchester city failed  to win in both their matches against Liverpool last season. Manchester City were in very good form. Even then, both matches ended in a 1-1 draw. This season, Liverpool won their home match against City 2 -0. Although Liverpool are in very good form, Manchester City's performance is  still quite weak.  So we cannot consider City as favorites in manchester city's home match either. Liverpool will win this match or the match will be a draw . The chances of Manchester city winning are very low.

From Manchester City's last game we might have hopes of them challenging Liverpool to a great extent. 4 goals to nothing against Newcastle is enough motivation to take up Liverpool despite still struggling with their current form. Home advantage should be a key motivation for Manchester City to try harder to win as this will strengthen their current standing position.

The fact City couldn't win their last two matches against Liverpool both in the previous season and the current season should be a push on their path to make a big change, shock the spectators and earn some credit for themselves as the keep pushing for the third place in the league.

Truly, as it stands, Newcastle is slaughtering Nottingham Forest and it isn't even Second half yet 4 - 1 on the score board. Newcastle has been unpredictable and inconsistent, so I decided to just pick Nottingham Forest to score in my ticket. Nottingham Forest hasn't been impressive in their last 5 outings, winning just 2 games, losing 2 and drawing one. Today, they are already trailing with a huge margin and it's just Half Time.

Isak is a very good striker, I don't know who else thinks he's the most complete striker in the EPL, he's good with the ball, good at positioning and his finishing is very perfect, Newcastle is blessed to have him and I wish Chelsea could lure him out of Newcastle cause he's the kind of striker we need to complete our squad, I won't be easy but we should atleast try to sign Isak or someone as good as him.

Nottingham Forest scored the opening goal of the game and since then there is series of goals from Newcastle United. It won't be easy for Nottingham Forest to win or even draw from here. Newcastle United will be happy to win this game and jump to third or forth position from there current position i.e. fifth. Alexander Isak no doubt has great opportunity at his disposal to score a hat trick and still has 30 minutes to do that.

That's right, their mentality is very bad when Arsenal are in dire need of points and they are under pressure then their performance will be very bad, Arsenal cannot be expected to win the title, this team has not changed like last season.
There is nothing wrong with the composition of the players fielded by Arteta, he has tried to field his best squad but indeed in football there are things outside that change everything.

This week was actually a good opportunity for Arsenal to be able to cut points from Liverpool who are at the top of the standings but they failed, and that opportunity will not come again so I think everything is over for Arsenal.

As far as I know, Chelsea is more interested in Gyokeres than Alexander Isak, but in football anything can happen, so it doesn't rule out the possibility that Chelsea will be able to sign Isak in the future. Liverpool and Arsenal are also reportedly interested in Alexander Isak and I think Newcastle will not let Isak go just like that because Isak is their crucial player, and if many teams are interested, it is very likely that Newcastle will put a high price tag on him.

Newcastle should be scored 5 goals. The ref does shitty thing by denying the second handball by Nottingham's defenders. It's really unacceptable caused by it's obvious hand ball. The second half is a bit difficult for Newcastle following some human errors made by their goalie.

As for Isaak, i agree he's joy to watch, but his panenka was predictable, and how fortunate he was it's going in the back of the net. If it's not, he would be blamed by entire fans of his club.

Arsenal loses to West Ham, Nottm Forest loses to Newcastle - what a perfect opportunity for Man City to jump to the 3rd place and get closer to the 2nd place, but things are not quite going their way. After 25 minutes, they are losing to Liverpool 0-1 at home after an early goal from Salah. Man City are dominating in possession and in shots on goal, and there's still plenty of time left to turn things around. Fingers crossed.

I'm still doubting City to play better even if they have Haaland in the squad. He has been decreasing so hard since middle of season. I don't even think having him makes squad better.

It's half-time, Liverpool take the lead with 2 goals from Salah and Szobo. I think they can add more on the second half because City's defense looks very shaky.

It feels like City is just taking very long just to transform from attack to the defense, and this gap always gives Liverpool big chances.

We could call it that. It’s been a very active play from both sides although, knowing that they are 2 goals down @Manchester City, they’ve been trying to bring the rush into the game, to ensure they utilize every second in order to make it count but, it’s not been easy for them. The Liverpool defense line as on high alert today, taking a certain importance to the game with every hope to keep their lead.
Doku have been very good on the wings today, getting by Trent just as he wishes but, not so many nice deliveries in the middle. KDB is having way too many misplaced passes and this halftime break is a really desired one for them, let the manager see just how much he could fix but, it doesn’t look like there is any coming back from this.

Manchester City can't even create a proper attacking organization. What is this I'm watching?    They played like shit in the first half and not much thing changed later on either. I can say that I liked only Doku so far. He is really trying to do something but the rest of the team are just very bad. Haaland's absence is also felt really much. Because there is literally nobody to score now. Marmoush is also playing poorly today unlike his effort against Newcastle previously.

As for Nottingham forest the possibility of them retaining third positions till the end of the season is not there because I believe they make lose more matches.
