Hehehe im waiting to the end of this midweek games to make my picks, i dont want to put my picks and see some teams in very low performance or a key player being injured at the very last moment.

We are a little bit rusty after a month without this competition right?

I think it's better to make a forecast in advance, the calendar looks broken and it's easy to get confused/miss a pick. Personally, I make a pick as soon as I have the opportunity (usually with the thought "later if I want to I'll change it", but of course I never go back hehe).
By the way, I chose Nottingham for the first time in this round, they score little, but against an outsider everything can change. Is it a good choice?

Yes is very complicated to pick because of that, if you dont pay atention you dont know for which round some teams were playing, so many games due and other leagues playing in mid week.

Risky move with the Forest one, but also it can pay off, because Southampton is  a very weak team.


We are heading towards the last 24 hours until the deadline so im gonna re tag the players who already didnt submit your selections, im gonna retag later because is a very special round and also the comeback of this competition.

Great that this competition finally returns to action after some break. This time it wasn't really difficult to make picks. But now I'm really missing Man City. Yeah, they're performing awful this season, but I have feeling that they can score a lot against Ipswich.

I was expecting him to forget somehow or probably hope that his connection got knocked down or something lol. Its totally going to screw his position as the current #1 if he failed to submit.

Crazy that Man City is out of the options, Forest is a smart bet and I expected a few more people to have them.
I added them to my reserve list, so they were really close to being added this time.

Southampton is one of the worst teams in the history of the PL but Forest usually doesn't have the offensive threat to score a lot.

Well, it looks like a good opportunity to fight for the yellow cap since in order to overtake most of participants, a couple of games will only need successful outcomes.

Yes this kind of things can happen for sure but a match could also be cancelled while I have already submitted my predictions, so when I submit lately I don't have to think about that and get frustrated if it happens at least. Anyway more than 4 months and many matchdays left, so up to now nothing is done for anyone IMO. Many participants could miss one(or 2) rounds before the end, and as you say missing one round can make a big difference in the standings. Regarding City it's sad for them but not very surprising to see them leaving the top5 tbh and it allows to welcome Newcastle on top of the return of Juventus.

Well like always when i make an outsider pick for this competition , in this case i pick Newcastle they not only dont score much but also they receive all the goals that i was willing to see them scoring.

When i pick Fiorentina in other rounds the same, they lose by 4/5 goals incredible. Newcastle comes to this match with 8 or 9 wins in a row, it was not that crazy.

I didn't picked Liverpool because I had in my mind that they're playing with Nottingham, not Brentford. Not really sure why, but I tend to confuse these teams. But now I don't regret that I didn't picked them . And yeah, Nottingham looks like a good pick.
Didn't picked Barca, despite how well they're performing recently. They're playing with Getafe, one of best defrnsive teams in league or maybe whole Europe. Similar reasons not to go with Atletico - weak opponent, but they rarely score a lot playing away.

Made me happy in a satisfying way, deep down in my belly, to see that the massively unpopular choice Leipzig (rightly so) didn't take long to score 3. I thought, a bit of a shame that arallmuus managed to join me in picking them. Yeah, they've been shitty but they're always able to smack in a motherlode on their day, right? Then they find a way to allow 3 goals themselves while not doing anything more haha. Why not just choose Bayern and get 3 anyway, eh?

I didn't see the game but judging by the huge amount of shots and relatively few shots on target Brentford were playing the bus. But Liverpool were lucky in stoppage time and I'm glad they got at least 2 points here.

Well Nothingham Forest paid off for those who selected them 3 goals is a decent and good ammount. Sadly for me my outside picks dont pay me anything.

Tomorrow we are gonna have the definition of this round because Chelsea and Villarreal have their games in monday.

I was watching City, thinking how those that picked them will run past me. Then at one point I remembered there is no City to pick

Looking good so far, 10 goals from 3 games looks like a potentially winning result. Inter and Chelsea left, 15+ wins it if I didn't mess up my calculations.
