Hi guys just posting here the stats for this round 18.



I was expecting a more even round like cryptofrka said, but seems like we are gonna have a more uneven a fun round. I know is super even in the normal 4 teams but we have a mixture between the players on top compared with the last round were we had several players with the exact same picks.

Sadly omiki miss this round.

Good round, very diverse, I want to check what cryptofrka chose to understand what 4 teams he was talking about. I chose only 3 "guaranteed" and 2 as it seemed to me underdogs, but now I see that many chose Villarreal and in general the range of picks is large.
The fact that someone bet on Nottingham, which scored 7 goals, is enviable, it is a huge handicap in the fight for the yellow cap.

Unfortunately, I went with the worst possible one as the 5th - Atalanta who scored only once vs Torino (to put some salt on the wound, they missed a penalty as well).
Not gonna be a great round for me, it's been a horrible week in all pools/competitions I'm participating in.

As soon as I saw the Forest result, the first thing I did was to see if somebody picked them. Well played ajiz138, luckily for the rest of us you're far away from the top spots.

Luckily this time chose Nottingham Forest because they won 7 goals against Brighton, it was unexpected that Forest could humiliate the opponent, before losing heavily to Bournemouth and now returning fiercely with the opponent.

In another match,,, I'm not sure Newcastle will win many goals with Fulham but at least this team is still said to be good enough to choose, usually Isak is not left behind to score goals.

Going with Villarreal was easy money. This team is scoring a lot and they played with worst team in league. I picked them without thinking much. While Nottingham pick can be game changer that can potentially deliver win in round. Who could have though that after loss 5:0 last round, this week they will 7:0 against decent Brighton. I see only 1 player in our game has chosen them.

Luckily this time chose Nottingham Forest because they won 7 goals against Brighton, it was unexpected that Forest could humiliate the opponent, before losing heavily to Bournemouth and now returning fiercely with the opponent.

In another match,,, I'm not sure Newcastle will win many goals with Fulham but at least this team is still said to be good enough to choose, usually Isak is not left behind to score goals.

I guess this even out your point huh. NFO scored 7 but Newcastle only got 1  so total 8 while some player with Bayern Munich + Villarreal has collected 9 goals in total

I totally missed out on NFO, I picked them several times before and I should had pick them on this round but decided to drop them down for Villarreal in the end lol. Well Villarreal is still a pretty solid pick, I was only expecting them to score 3-4 goals

luckily for the rest of us you're far away from the top spots.

I just noticed that even 10 goals gap is pretty big in this game, going to take like atleast 5 rounds just for closing up the gap.... 2-3 bad rounds would really close our chance for the paid spot

Sad to hear. Atalanta destroyed my multiple bet. I couldn't imagine that in the home game after a series of 5 games (1 win 1 loss and 3 draws) they would continue to lose points. And they're still top three in Serie A with a good margin, lol.
Maybe Real will show something special today, as I already wrote when I don't pick them they perform above average.

Picking Bayern Munich is always a solid choice, while for Villareal and Nottingham Forest it's just luck they scored. But unlucky many picked Real Madrid but didn't score last night? That's a shame for a big Laliga team, maybe others are waiting for Barcelona to score more goals.

I thought it was an easy pick. Usually they score a lot vs Espanyol but to lose was very unexpected. Not many people have Chelsea so  I hope to get some points from them.

Real Madrid played with their first team but they lost, this is obviously an unexpected defeat because no one expected no points at Real Madrid.

I don't think Chelsea will get many points, but I hope Chelsea get many points in this match. It's still hard to guess for Chelsea.

Given the result of Real Madrid, I think it was a good idea to have taken Mainz 05, the result was the same, for now Villarreal saving the day, well my day, although five "brave" players saw those five goals that could well be giving us the winner of this day... well those players who took the easy selection of Bayern, so, please Darbit leave it fixed until the end, yeah,  as a fixed selection for my, thanks, 4 goals that are taking me out of the fight for the FB.

Well I mean technically before the game, Real Madrid should be a better choice to pick over Mainz. Too bad though they didnt score any, Barcelona on the other hand only scored 1 goal as well. I was expecting those two giants from LaLiga would score atleast 5 goals altogether

No one actually picked Arsenal though  , Well yeah Arteta had terrible record against Manchester City

Surprisingly, Arsenal now have more goals scored than City, in this indicator they are second only to Liverpool. But for some reason, I associate Arsenal with low scoring, probably because I have picked them several times and got 0-1 or 2 points at most. In this round, even with a weak City, no one in their right mind would have chosen Arsenal over Real or Barcelona. Who knew that would have been the right thing to do.

Lets see how Chelsea plays tonight, they were not so good in the last games, so i cant trust them right now.

We also have Lazio playing tonight so i dont remmeber who had them but can be another surprise pick.

Lazio is playing away against Cagliari. I think there is little potential for a surprise here, Cagliari doesn't concede many goals (1.6 per game on average) + this is a home game for them. Chelsea are playing at home and if you look at the teams' statistics, it seems that Chelsea will score at least a couple of goals. I will hope for more as it seems I have a chance to win the yellow cap.

Well technically you are one foot away from getting another free bets. Chelsea and Lazio are the only team left. You need Chelsea to score atleast two to get those free bets. Worst case scenario for you is that If Chelsea just score 1 goal and Lazio score less than 3 goals then you are going to lose to Jayce and Saint-Loup due to the tiebreaker. So good luck to all three leftover players that compete for the top 2 spots

Thanks! I think this is my fourth yellow cap (and I lost another one in a tie) but I'm still far from the leading group  And things aren't going very well with the implementation of free bets either, this season only one has been successful (so far hehe).
I can imagine the disappointment of ajiz138 who chose Nottingham and didn't get the top spot.
